das etwas altmodisches aber stylvolles Hotel. Sehr aufmerksames und sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Alle unsere Wünsche wurden sofort und gerne erfüllt! (Das Trinkgeld wurde sehr geschätzt). Die zentrale Lage (U-Bahn, Central Parketc.) Das automatisch 15 US$ pro Tag für die Benutzung des Internet, Mail etc. berechnet werden. Wir waren 4 Tage in NY und haben das Internet/Mail nie benutzt. Beim Check-out haben wir das gesagt und der nette Mann an der Reception hat die 45 US$ von der Rechnung gestrichen. |

Die Lage des Hotels ist Top.Sehr nette Hotelmitarbeier. Der Preis war etwas überzogen.Mann kann die Sterne Bewertung auf keinen fall mit den Deutschen Hotels dieser Klasser vergleichen. |

Das hotel ist völlig überbewertet. Die Zimmer sind ca. 40 Jahre alt und machen einen desolaten Eindruck ( Tapeten reißen ab, Badewanne blättert ab ). Es war keine große Freude für mich, in diesem Hotel zu übernachten. |

Gorgeous view of Central Park from room; very spacious room; easy access to Central Park, 5th Ave, museums; Grand Central Terminal not too far away. Concierge very helpful with dining recommendations. Room could use some TLC - wallpaper peeling in spots, furniture scratched. Rate too pricey for there too be any "defects." |

Located in a fantastic part of New York with a magnificent view of central park. Very pricey and the rooms are looking a bit worn. Cleanliness of the room was also lacking some. |

Location is excelent and is a pleasure walking on streets around. Attention on details, on cleaning and amenities like daily little chocolate bars. For people who talk portuguese Orestes is the person to look for: he is very helpful. The room really needs renovation. Wallpaper had loose points and wash basin was cracked. Doors slamming on other rooms were very audible. Otherwise and not looking to this faults the the stay was very pleasant. |

The location is fantastic overlooking Central Park, especially with a high storey Park View room. A few steps from the Fifth Avenue shops and sights and a comfortable walk to Midtown attractions Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, Times Square etc. The added $15 per day for unlimited calls and internet use is a bit steep once the hotel tax and city tax is added to the original price. The first time I stayed they waived the fee but the second time they didn't so I made sure to make a lot of long distance phone calls. |
