Great location ! Right across the street from central park. Very close to the subway and within walking distance to many great restaurants. Room was clean and pretty big for NYC. Decor is a little outdated. It could use a remodel.

Very pleased with hotel. Fantastic location, very plesant staff, good sized rooms. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was a bit poor. Pastries not pleasant. Always felt rather hungry afterwards. Thought cooked breakfast was included when I booked but was told only contintental...cooked extra! However would definitely book again but on a room only basis and have breakfast elsewhere.

First trip to New York and we were very happy with your Hotel. We thought it was a very nice and roomy hotel. Had friends staying at the Hilton and our room far surpassed theirs. Was very pleased with extras provided....ie fridge and abundance of towels. Staff were friendly and courteous. All in all enjoyed our stay.

The location was great being across from the Central Park. Bellhop was friendly. Anthony was the only concierge who was friendly and helpful. The other concierge was very rude. The room was in poor condition. Bathroom was in desperate need of renovation (handle was broken on tub faucet, tiles were loose and dirty, light bulb was hanging from the bulb holder). Matress was old and non supportive. The receptionist could be more friendly.

-Location -Room was spacious enough to accommodate four -Beds were comfortable -Cocktails in Harry's Bar were good Stuff was friendly -Lobby and the hall needs a touch of a good designer (maybe not so much: cool front desks and furniture would be enough) -Put newer TV set in rooms

The hotel had a lovely oppulent feel. The room was lovely and the location was excellent . The price I got for the room was also very reasonable.... I must have been on the internet at the right time. The dining room was beautiful.... very impressive. I found the waiting staff unfriendly. The staff at breakfast did not smile and made you feel like a burden to them. The continental breakfast was not value for money and had little variety, ie no bread/toast or cereal.

The posistion of the hotel just across the street from Central Park and hop on off bus tours a few doors from Todds English food hall. and you felt safe Hotel is need of a facelift must have been a nice hotel 30 years ago. No where to make a drink take a travel kettle you'll be glad you did
