no services, rooms need to refurbished and a deep clean.
great location, great value, extremely clean and so comfortable . i would highly recommend this hotel and im so looking forward to going back again in the future.
Delay in late night check in, delays for Secret Service baggage checks when "VIP" was in-house.
The best location, happy hour, excellent cleanliness
Concierge doubled the price of tickets I purchased through them. Terrible problems getting resolved. VIP staying in hotel. Security very high. Half hotel closed off to paying guests. No women security officers patting down women guests - unacceptable!!! Wifi cut off day you check out from first thing in the morning not at checkout. Staff extremely poor including management. Really low class and do not know how to run a high end hotel. Door men were the best of all. Afternoon happy hour VERY poor. Food not worth putting out!!!
Location of the hotel was very good. Easy to walk to Times Square and Central Park.
Hidden extra charges - you pay more than the headline price!
Location is great
Some things were a little dated.
Overall, very comfy and pleasant hotel. We liked the evening buffet and get together in the 2nd floor grand room overlooking Central Park. Our 29th floor suite had a fabulous view over the park.
The complementary part you don't see, so you don't use... would be nice to have a complementary coffee with begals dounats in the morning
the room, the location, if you can a good view,
Location & ambience
Happy Hour looking out at the One Day of perfect snow.
Great location; excellent views of Central Park.
great location, big spacious room, free wifi.
location Luxury Comfort
The evening gathering they host in the second floor (free for all gest) is really great. Not sure whay they dont let you know about it when you book, but you can basically skip a meal. imported beer, champagne and a light meal between 5 to 7pm every night
I got charged for WI-FI and never used it.
Clean, comfortable room
For the price, that is what you can get. Nothing negative in particular.
Accommodating check-in personnel
They should take better care about the things that one might forget in the room after check-out.
I loved the location which is excellent!
No room service!! That can almost ruin a trip for a family when the windy cold weather prohibits going to look for food.
Staff was friendly. Location is great, and the restaurant id good.
No tea or coffee facilities in the room, meant you had to pay for drinks in the lobby.
The location is excellent and the doormen very helpful
no coffee machine in the room, very expensive and mandatory resort fee
location, very friendly staff
I was amazed at the level of customer service. It was evident at all levels. The attitude of Andrew and the staff was one of total concern about our comfort and well-being. They are anticipatory and service oriented.
No room service. $30.00 a day "facilities fee"
I frequently go to NYC and always stay the this hotel because of the location, which couldn't be better. Unfortunately, since the hotel was sold there have been changes that have definitely diminished the quality of the hotel. The main downside is that there is really no room service other than a limited breakfast menu. As I tend to work a lot in my room, this is a real problem and I am rethinking where to stay for my next visit. In addition, there is now a $30.00 a day service fee, which covers "free" wifi and a happy hour from 5-7. The happy hour serves a few hors d'oerves, wine, beer and soda. It's fine but I'm rarely around between 5-7, especially now that there's no room service.
