Clean rooms and the location was great.
No coffee maker or mini bar in room. No way to get coffee in the hotel when leaving early for our flight. The rooms need updating. The sheets were scratchy.
The whole package. I was just mentioning to my husband that this is one the hotels that would certainly coming back whe go to NY. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, clean room, good mattress and pillows!
A nice size room in fabulous location ...super comfortable bed.
They charge a $30 facilities fee that included wi-fi yet they charged an additional $12 on my bill for Internet for 1 night. I questioned it & they immediately removed the charge without question or argument. It irritated me though. How many poor sods get bilked out of extra $ especially if English is a 2nd language & they don't have enough words to question or others who don't even check that closely. As soon as my final bill didn't match booking.com I tried to figure out why.
booking.com says the hotel offers free wi fi, it costs 12.95 a day. Resort fee of 30 us per day, what for??? Bathrooms are tiny and so. Dated. Grubby shower curtain,no power in the shower
location is superb
Booking.com doesn't disclose a separate facilitation fee of $30 per night. This should be clearly be disclosed.
excellent location - size of rooms is fine - view is great (39th floor). breakfast is varied - staff in lobby very helpfull & friendly.
No double glazing -> constant city noise in room as if windows are open. Staff in Park room & Harry's Bar not very friendly: also slow service. At breakfast always having to wait for a table. Dirty dishes & glasses from previous guests stay far too long on the tables - this looks very unappealing and messy: this during breakfast & during happy hour. Background music at times far too loud during happy hour and at Harry's bar considering the average age of the guests - and always pop/rock. Very annoying and uninviting.
Nothing except the location of this hotel is worth mentioning.
30+ minutes wait at reception for everything from check in, to getting keys re done, to picking up a package; amazing considering they charge you an extra $32 "resort" fee for the pleasure of 24hr guest services. Heat in the room was poor, and the room itself was tired and worn. Corridors stunk of weed. I would neither recommend this hotel or use it again.
very clean... fanatic location
I really appreciate that the front desk staff made an early check in for us but that charge should be informed to the guest in the time of arrival. we paid about 40 dollars for 3 hours. it would be convenient for guest to have an idea of charge which i thought it a complimentary service from hotel ... There was an facilities fee which i would b happy to know more about it...
Location is convenient for central park.
We had booked this hotel as we were getting married in central park. Enquiring about an early check in at the hotel we were kindly give an upgrade and told our room would be available for an early check in. On arrival 2 days later the room wasn't available early and we hadn't received the upgrade as offered by the hotel 2 days prior which was disappointing.
Very comfortable bed Location
No room service Unbelievable !!
The Park Lane is a gracious, welcoming hotel with such beautiful views you don't want to leave the hotel.
Unexpected charges on the bill.
great location beautiful room staff is very courteous and helpful
don't like paying for Wi-Fi very much do not like the resort fee
Worst service, they charge u for everything
Close to everything., reasonably priced. I had a medical condition and the staff was very helpful
No snack machines
Loved Loved Loved the location; couldn't have been any better! The staff was eager to accommodate! The beds were extremely comfortable. There are subway entries right there....and they always have cabs and ubr nearby (no waiting for a ride) The management was also great; any issue, they immediately rectified and provided great service.
The thermostat had a governor on it; you couldn't get it as cool as I like, however, the hotel did provide a fan (which was a life saver!) There isn't a coffee pot in the room, however, there is a mini café/barista in the lobby.
toilet rocked, shower did not get much water, toilet water ran,
Great location and very comfortable room
The location is great and the food is very good.
The rooms have to be remodeled. They're too old for what you pay.
Great Location with some very great views!
Aditional daily fee
The staff were warm, professional, and thoughtful throughout our stay. We will certainly stay here again.
Staff was very nice. Excellent views of CPS,
But you didn't want to stay in a worn room. It was very outdated, carpet worn, cigarette holes, pipes exposed in bathroom. No mini-bar.
Costly Wi-Fi No afternoon or evening room service No services book
