It was charming, clean, quaint and an excellent location in Washington,D.C....a few blocks in each direction from 3 metro stops, but also well within walking distance of the Mall. Will definitely return and recommend it!!!!! |

I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the restaurant was clean with well prepared food and a timely efficient service. The building has character too. Because of its location there was a higher amount of road noise than usual from outside that included early morning construction noise. |

Setting and Decoration were fancy and interesting, real atmosphere of 30s jazz restaurant/bar. Breakfast food quality was very good. Good rate was maybe due to the fact that we had new building construction very close to our room, starting with heavy drilling at 6.30AM!! Hotel assistats were not that kind and "talkative". |

The elegance and comfort of the building. 1. I specifically asked for a room far from construction and was placed with a window right on the construction which starts at 6 am with jackhammers and girder tossing contests. 2. I was not informed ahead of time of the complicated policy the hotel uses for payment. They took a $170 deposit on my debit card for one week without informing me of the amount. If paid in cash they take a 60% deposit |

very nice, cosy hotel, very pleasant rooms and interior. pleasant service of transfer to the airport I did not like the hotel staff (except of the porter - handling luggage and hotel driver to airport). The receptionists were very poor in handling clients. Unfriendly and unhelpful. Furthermore, the hotel should be at least ready to offer some compensation when some clients find themselves in rooms next to the construction side. An "I amsorry" is not an answer. |

Construction on a new building (beside my window) next to the hotel; very loud hammering noises,noise from cement trucks, loud talking @ 6- 6:15am each day!!!!!!! |

Great restaurant and fantastic lobby--one of the few I've ever felt compelled to sit in and read. Nice staff. Construction noise nearby was only a minor nuisance in the morning, but it never woke me up. |

The location I had to leave one day earlier than my 3 day reservation, but your staff insisted at check in time that I had to pay for the 3 day cost. I had never encountered such an unreasonable requirment and the unreasonable person who had insisted that I should. Would I return to this hotel (which has such a small room) or recommend the hotel to any one? |
