Henley Park Hotel926 Massachusetts Avenue, DC 20001 Washington (Show map) Very good, Score from 170 reviews“The location was good and the rate was reasonable for the area. The complimentary newspaper and bottled water was appreciated. The restuarant was delicious (a little pricey) but for organic items it is expected. The maid service was very good.”

Excellent hotel! So beautiful. The food was incredible and the staff was helpful. I'd come again. More smiles from staff members would have been great.

It was a beautiful hotel only located a couple blocks from where we were going. Being so close to the city at such a reasonable price is great! The parking is pricey...and the beds seemed a bit small, but the room was comfortable nonetheless

I loved the beautiful art pottery tiles in the main entrance Traffic and construction noise was awful. They provide earplugs on you pillow, which speaks volumes.

I liked the location, and the building was nice. The room was simple, bare minimum but clean and comfortable. It was also nice to some, not my thing but still nice, that the hotel gives the washington post every morning (delivered at the door). The fan in our bathroom was broken and the staff was not overly friendly. They were there when necessary- check in and check out- but never said good morning or made sure everything was going well when we passed them in the main hallway. I also didn't like that there wasn't a mini-fridge in the room.

The nearly 100 year old Henley Park Hotel has old world romantic charm and beauty that you can't find among the surrounding modern cookie cutter hotels. The Henley is a block from dc Convention Center and minutes from Union Station. Located in the center of the city the convenience of the Washington dc Circulator Bus and Metro makes visiting George Town and other sites a breeze. This was our second stay at the Henley, this time we arrived by train at Union Station and left the car at home.

Just about everything. I liked the fact that they left earplugs on my desk and offered free water every night. The devil, or angel, is always in the details.

Good location. Near China town. About a mile walk to the White House. Hotel was clean, decorated well. Breakfast was excellent, although a little pricey. My room was adequate with safe, ironing board, mini bar and flat screen tv. Free wireless in room and around hotel. I would stay at the Henley again.

Ambiance of the hotel was beautiful. It's definitely not a 'chain' hotel. Staff was very helpful and hospitable. Hotel was a little pricey, especially drinks at the bar, but you kinda expect this from a little swanky hotel in downtown DC. Everything about the hotel was very nice and beautiful. The bed, however, was not as comfortable as those at, say...the Hampton Inn. Other than this, experience was wonderful.

Location.Room. On the reception they couldn´t provide me with US/Europe electrical adapter so I had to spend 12 usd to buy one. In the first day my key wasn´t working because of some error in the computer sistem so I had to go twice to the reception to claim. Next morning when I claim again they asked for my id card.

Well located well maintained older boutique hitel in a very central part of dc. Bar with light meal sevice was good. Cont8inental breakfast came very timnely early. An evening hot water outage was fixed timely. Friendly couteous staff. A/C needs to be operable all the time, not just when the hotel thinks its "warm enough" to turn on (that's what "individual climate control" means!

The Henley Park feels very European in look and atmosphere. I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to eat at their dining room--it is lovely. It was a very pleasant stay. The staff was helpful and saw to that guests had bottled water each day (free, unlike other hotels) aside from the well- stocked pay-per-item fridge. It's hard to find a gracious, intimate hotel in a city with rapidly growing numbers very big, impersonal carpeted warehouses.

The Henley Park is a cozy and charming hotel that reflects a more intimate and genteel way of life where there is attention showered on a small number of travellers who value the location, architecture of a by gone era that reflects style, comfort and good taste. I enjoyed the wonderful French onion soup and the tapestry adorned walls and cozy parlor area and the wonderful entrance. The staff was excellent and attentive. I enjoy staying at smaller hotels where you don't feel like just another face among a cast of thousands. The linens were top quality and thank you for your environmental consciousness. Since I was travelling from Mississippi the Magnolia prints were perfect! I can see that some may complain about the size of the rooms, however, I find them cozy and enjoy the feeling of being tucked in the makes me feel warm.

“My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the Washington Plaza Hotel! Our room was very spacious and unbelievably comfortable; it far exceeded our expectations. We really liked that it was a short walk from the McPherson Metro Station, so it was very easy to commute to all of the major attractions, and it is also was conveniently located near a lot of restaurants and bars. All in all, the Washington Plaza was a great deal, especially for two college students looking to get away for the weekend! ” Lydia, North Bergen |
