Henley Park Hotel  

We really liked our free upgrade, the food was good (not sure tho if worthdy the price) and the gentleman booking trips downstairs was ever so helpful and smiley as probably the only one in the hotel.

There was a fire alarm at aroun 9pm. It went on for ages. I phoned the reception twice and was advice for the second time to go downstairs and so we did. The alarm has stoped after some time and there was nobody who would come outside and tell us (mind you all people there in their pyjamas!) let alone for anybody to explain, appologise! I was shocked by this. Working in the hotel myself (not as ''posh'' as this one) we would go out of our way to do something so even with this experience guest is leaving hotel happy. I did not find this professional at all and quite frankly its completaly spoiled our stay. We did get our dinner refunded (as it was cold after coming back to room) but again I had to ask for it.

Not enough desk staff, had to wait 20 minutes to checkin because of a guest monopolizing the time of the single/lone desk person

The Henley Park Hotel was fabulous. It was clean, spacious, and exceeded all of our expectations that we had. We were more than satisfied and would definitely stay here on future trips.

Very quiet, very nice room. Close to central washington places. Felt luxury for a good price. Free Wifi.

Expensive parking (33$+Tax) and no hint from staff that parking is free on saturdays northwest of Hotel/Massachusetts Av.

Room was excellent. Very clean, nice, cozy & Quiet. The hotel was very nicely maintained and decorated. I felt very safe and comfortable. Snacks left in the room and a newspaper in the morning. The bed was excellent! Shower was excellent. Pleanty of towels. I like the soap. Nice quality blow dryer. Not one of those really short things that make a lot of racket and you can't control the air direction for styling. I was very pleased with my stay.

Resturant was a bit pricey but the food was very good. I did not eat the snacks in the room because I was not sure if they would be pricey too. The shower did take a little time to heat up in the mornings but once it did it was a very nice shower.

Lovely old hotel. Very helpful and kind staff. Beautiful garden out front. Great location. Wonderful tapestries and other decor on the walls.

It was a noisy room when I opened the window - a mechanical sound , (the elevator or maybe air conditioning) but they did put ear plugs on the bedside table!

The pillows were very thick and did not have any give. Very poor choice for people who are side sleepers.

The hotel is quite charming. Although the rooms are on the small side, they were warmly decorated and very comfortable. I appreciated the free water in the room. Breakfast at the hotel was also excellent.

I liked the location, and the building was nice. The room was simple, bare minimum but clean and comfortable. It was also nice to some, not my thing but still nice, that the hotel gives the washington post every morning (delivered at the door).

The fan in our bathroom was broken and the staff was not overly friendly. They were there when necessary- check in and check out- but never said good morning or made sure everything was going well when we passed them in the main hallway. I also didn't like that there wasn't a mini-fridge in the room.

Just about everything. I liked the fact that they left earplugs on my desk and offered free water every night. The devil, or angel, is always in the details.
