I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the restaurant was clean with well prepared food and a timely efficient service. The building has character too.

Because of its location there was a higher amount of road noise than usual from outside that included early morning construction noise.

Staff were wonderful and the hotel very clean

rooms only have one bed .... the entire hotel is set up that way

The elegance and comfort of the building.

1. I specifically asked for a room far from construction and was placed with a window right on the construction which starts at 6 am with jackhammers and girder tossing contests. 2. I was not informed ahead of time of the complicated policy the hotel uses for payment. They took a $170 deposit on my debit card for one week without informing me of the amount. If paid in cash they take a 60% deposit

We did generally enjoy our stay at the hotel

The location for main sight seeing and Washington transport was excellent - the staff most helpful

Construction on a new building (beside my window) next to the hotel; very loud hammering noises,noise from cement trucks, loud talking @ 6- 6:15am each day!!!!!!!

I had to leave one day earlier than my 3 day reservation, but your staff insisted at check in time that I had to pay for the 3 day cost. I had never encountered such an unreasonable requirment and the unreasonable person who had insisted that I should. Would I return to this hotel (which has such a small room) or recommend the hotel to any one?
