WiFi was a bit of a drag and sometimes it didn't quite work, but I
didin´t mind since everything else was great.
Probably, the cleaning, wasn´t that good, when I arrived, my sheets were not fresh and clean, so I had to ask for clean ones. Besides that, bathrooms are spotless and new, common areas are clean an comfy aswell. And kitchen is a real money saver with the restaurant prices in the city.
The great thing about this hostal, is that most of its staff speaks both
spanish and english, so it's easier for people who don´t manage very
well with native language of us. I noticed how some people struggle with
that, and here they just make it easier. There are plenty of activities
you can sign up for, and if you travel alone, this will save you some
time trying to mingle and make friends. Everyone's friendly and it
has a subway station one block away, grocery store across the street and
many restaurants and produce markets around it. It's 3 blocks away
from central park and one from riverside park. Columbia University is 6
or 8 blocks uptown if you ever feel like experiencing college nightlife
New York style in the local bars around the area.
