walls are really thin - you can hear almost every word of what is said in the corridor AND the street location it is in can get sketchy at night
nice bed, clean room, good value for money facilities are clean and modern staff is there 24/7
The blinds really need to fixed or replaced. The bedroom windows that face King St do not keep out the noise, the windows should be sealed, as is they shift around in the window frame. Also, the windows only open all the way, you can't just crack the window a inch or so. The blinds are missing slats and do a very poor job keeping out the light from the street.
nothing in particular
Nice location Close to commute Clean
Location, location, location.
On the down-side, the walls were very thin and we could easily hear people talking in the halls on their way to their rooms. This was not a big problem for us as the hostel was not busy, but could have been one, if it was busier. Breakfast was provided but it was very basic. Fruit, oatmeal, bread and bagels with various toppings were the main components. It was sufficient, but no frills.
The desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and we saw the cleaning staff often and were really impressed by their hard work. The location was very convenient for exploring China town, and it was close to several bus stops and the lightrail. We did not figure out how to use the bus system or lightrail and just walked. Downtown with the waterfront and Pike's Place Market was about a half-hour brisk walk.
There is really little space in the rooms.
Being situated right in the entrance of Seattle's International District, there are many Asian and accessible food options starting right below the hostel.
Having to share the common bathrooms. It's okay but just not ideal.
The staff are helpful, friendly which made it easy to approach them if you had any questions about the area. Keep up the great work!
Well managed hostel/hotel with good common areas Close to historic Pioneer Square
The 15.6% tax made the price pretty high. Also, I stayed in ladies only dorm, but the next day a guy was sleeping under my bed.. lil surprised!
location was great, area was pretty safe, staffs were nice, They helped me a lot with my huge luggage, and I could borrow cell phone charger for free, too!
far from town
4 bed in same room
rude, disinterested staff key system
the gentleman who helped me in getting on the right bus to Capitol Hill district.
The staff here is sort of indifferent and not so friendly.
The place is right inside the international district, if you like asian food, you are gonna love this place.
The room was quite tiny but enough for three of us!
Very convenient location, where located at China town. Next to lots of good Asian restaurants and eatery!
Everything is accessible from this location, the building is charming and smells like heaven due to the neighborhood restaurants! We always stay in hostels when we travel, and appreciate the friendly staff that checked us in when we arrived in Seattle! Our room was quiet and clean, and I love the memory foam beds!
can make foreign friends. room was good. each bed has light and socket outlet.
However, it is located in China town, where some beggars gather. Sometimes they shouted at night. Staffs at the front desk are not willing to serve you or answer your questions.
Location is convenient because bus, links are all one minute walk.
What would you expect from hostels? It had everything that hostels offer. It was really close to the light train station, which was nice.
Room doors and bunks are very noisy, impossible to sleep. Matress is very thin and umcomfotable.
It´s very close to Train station and other public trasportation.
다운타운 내에 위치한건 아니었지만 나름 만적족한다. 하지만 호스텔이라는 점과 시설면에서 가격이 조금 비싸다고 생각한다. I'm satisfied service(staff, breakfast, overall service) and location, but I think cost is a bit expensive.
The family atmosphere.
The water pressure was a little, well, It was okay, but that's only a first world problem.
This Hostel exceeded my expectations. I've never stayed in a cleaned environment. We stayed in a three bed dorm and the mattress was so comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was good and mostly clean, too. I would recommend this Hostel anytime. The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. The breakfast room had the basics, which were appreciated, too. Great value for money and what a gem! Thank you, HI!
The hostel is in Chinatown and it is easy to get to the pikes and downtown. But; and this really bothered me, where the homeless people who kept nagging for change/cigarettes/drugs. I even got the feeling that there were homeless people sleeping here as well because even inside I was asked many times for change and I even saw a guest being arrested(don't know why). And I know I shouldn't expect too much while sleeping in a hostel but this was kind of a disappointment.
Wifi. Location was okay, friendly staff.
No free parking was a bit of a problem.
The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was also pretty comfy. The old man working after midnight was very friendly and helpful!
