Easy access to train and bus stations. Great food nearby.
Sharing a hallway /bathroom with men. Arriving/leaving after dark felt like taking my life into my own hands.
This hostel is perfect if you want cheap, basic accommodation close to downtown Seattle. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable with thoughtful details (reading light, fan, and electrical outlets at each bunk bed).
Clean bathroom, big shower, big lockers in room (bring your own lock). Very close to public transportation.
Extremely hot inside the room (windows weren't opened because they were too filthy) while it wasn't even that hot outside. Door doesn't block light and noise from hallway. Thin mattress. A little bit expensive for its location. Shady neighbourhood in the evening/at night. Rooms are very small, not enough space for everyone's luggage.
Perfect location next to the International District light rail station & King Street Station, quick check in, really clean, comfy safe dorms. Definitely recommend!
I liked everything: my private room, the showers, the laundry, the facilities, the friendly helpful staff at all times, being able to print tickets off, my free walking tour, the security, the location despite the amount of homeless people on the streets (be careful at night), and its only a couple of blocks from the Greyhound and has main bus and train station across the street :)
Breakfast was the same fruit and bread each day. Would have been nice to have a change or some yogurt too.
Doors are too noisy, hard both to open or close.
loved the location from Amtrack station and location was great to use public municipal transit to other locations. very friendly staff.
no single room accomdations
single bed with single light and mini fan
Clean, good breakfast
I like its clean room and restroom. Cozy common area Strong wi-fi connection
Neighborhood is little bit awkward at night.. But security of hostel seems okay.
I got no sleep because the bar from the bunk was right in my back
Wonderful staff, where other hostels can learn from! Facilities were great.
In our room, a more frequent vacuum-cleaning would have been nice, also properly closing windows. What we did not like was the room door, it was always stuck and could not be opened and closed silently!
Nothing at all...
Everything from the time I stepped in till the time I stepped out. They are very good and consistent in disappointing the customers.
I liked the kitchen and dining area, it was a good size and the TV room was good size as well. I also liked the people at the reception!
There wasn't anything I disliked about the hostel.
staff efficiency cleanliness good quality wi fi excellent Chinese restaurants nearby
Neighbourhood location is central to transport but a lot of homeless people near light rail station.
We were in Seattle during a very hot summer week, which is not normal for Seattle - therefore the room was not fit for the heat. However the breakfast was fine, the location was excellent with only 15 mins to Cap Hill, 10 mins to Pike place and with a pleasant atmospheric Chinatown right outside. Very nice bathroom facilities! The staff was an incredible group of very knowledgable Seattle'ers who knew everything about the city and the where-to's.
Great access to the train
The location and the price are attractive. The other people are calm and polite, and the rooms were silent.
We arrived late, and it was not easy to not do noise and didn't wake up the other people. And the lockers, as I am not tall, for the A, are too height, so it was difficult to me.
Too noisy at night. I couldn't sleep well.. Trash track passed almost every 2 hours
That location was impossible to match. Centered next to the light rail, transit center, Amtrak and coach companies, you were met with several options to make your destination. Many tables to plan your day, fairly quiet atmosphere and the friendliest passer byers. 24 hr coffee supply, laundry facilities at the ready, and at least two areas to lounge about.
The need for foldable chairs in the rooms. The pestering from the derelicts. It would have been nice if staff were better acquainted with the area i.e. restaurants. Apart from logistics and elbow room, best place to drop your belongings and embrace the city.
Price, facility, location
A lot of noises at night, the restroom not very clean
Good wi fi, laundry services, comfy bed
Staff weren't friendly very standoffish, the cost was expensive for a very basic room, neighbourhood not that great
It was good location. There are close to Safeco Field and bus station and next to Chinese restaurant. The facility was old, but keeping clean.
