I found hair on my blanket, but I quickly went and got a new one! I also didn't like the fact that there were a lot of bums around the block outside.
I liked that all the staff were super friendly and helpful; no matter how many questions I asked, they continued to smile and answer.

Quite basic, no one thing that was poor
Relatively convenient and well priced considering how expensive Seattle is

It was close to all the sights I wanted to see and comfortable place to stay.

I really enjoy staying at the Seattle HI. It's great! I have had an outstanding stay there always.

Extremely small rooms, those with 4 beds Location Low value for money, but that's Seattle
Clean Breakfast provided

Not enough bathroom per floor.
Nice and big kitchen area and loundry facility. Good breakfast for a hostel.

The bed was a rock
Staff was. Great . Very clean.

The staff didn't seem to know much about (or didn't want to recommend) local restaurants. Maybe the average guest can't afford to go out for dinner so its not a priority with the staff. Be aware that you must take care in the inner city area when walking at night.
First time ever staying in a Hostel. Place is clean. Location, a 10. We came into town on Bolt Bus and left on Amtrak the next morning. This hotel was within 100 yards of the bus terminal and the King St. train station. Neighborhood is Chinatown so you're surrounded with restaurants. Beer/Pubs a 10 minute walk away. Very handy location for Mariners/Seahawks games.

I dealt with Kelly and recieved the best customer service I've ever had. Aside from being pleasant and helpful, she went out of her way to make sure our accommodations were taken care of. Up and beyond all for $36.99. Restored my faith in humanity. I highly recommend this place.

bed is toooooo soft.
free wifi and coffee is nice.
April 25, 2015
The soundproofing insulation is very poor. I could hear very words and footsteps in the corridor and next room.
The hotel located just opposite the railway station and very convenient for people like us who have to catch an early train.
April 23, 2015
walls are really thin - you can hear almost every word of what is said in the corridor AND the street location it is in can get sketchy at night
nice bed, clean room, good value for money facilities are clean and modern staff is there 24/7

The blinds really need to fixed or replaced. The bedroom windows that face King St do not keep out the noise, the windows should be sealed, as is they shift around in the window frame. Also, the windows only open all the way, you can't just crack the window a inch or so. The blinds are missing slats and do a very poor job keeping out the light from the street.

Location, location, location.

On the down-side, the walls were very thin and we could easily hear people talking in the halls on their way to their rooms. This was not a big problem for us as the hostel was not busy, but could have been one, if it was busier. Breakfast was provided but it was very basic. Fruit, oatmeal, bread and bagels with various toppings were the main components. It was sufficient, but no frills.
The desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and we saw the cleaning staff often and were really impressed by their hard work. The location was very convenient for exploring China town, and it was close to several bus stops and the lightrail. We did not figure out how to use the bus system or lightrail and just walked. Downtown with the waterfront and Pike's Place Market was about a half-hour brisk walk.
April 14, 2015
There is really little space in the rooms.
Being situated right in the entrance of Seattle's International District, there are many Asian and accessible food options starting right below the hostel.
April 7, 2015
Having to share the common bathrooms. It's okay but just not ideal.
The staff are helpful, friendly which made it easy to approach them if you had any questions about the area. Keep up the great work!

Well managed hostel/hotel with good common areas Close to historic Pioneer Square
