We made an excellent use of the kitchen in our room and enjoyed the pool with deck chairs in front of the resort and large deck with tables overlooking water in the back of it. Very friendly staff made our stay most enjoyable. Will come again.

    The staff was very pleasant.

Old, date cheaply constructed bldg that allowed you to pick up on conversations from the next room.

The location on the water, on a big canal, was lovely, as was the beachy sandy area with a covered deck. It was quiet, yet awalk or bike ride to restaurants and shops. You could sign up to use a bike, or fish, or swim in the pool. It feels like an Old Florida no-frills sort of spot: all the basics, friendly, one-of-a-kind, family run. I loved the full refrigerator, microwave etc.

There were a few no-see-ums around and in my room.

If you're looking for super modern and a big spread for breakfast Hampton Inn is down the street. This place is home away from home. Not super modern, but clean and comfortable. Beyond affordable. The staff was amazing and the free use of kayaks, paddle boat, and row boat was a huge plus. I would stay again in a second.

We loved the fact that it was centrally located by restaurants, walgreens, fishing locations, swimming spots, the yacht club, and fitness centers!!!!! To top it off it was directly on the waterfront!!!! We could actually kyak and fish behind the hotel!!!! Lived it!!!!

Couldn't find anything not to like!!

Location, Location, Location. The deck and patio area out by the water, we spent most of our time out there fishing and just hanging out. I was pleased with our stay, it wasn't a 4 or five star resort but I didn't pay 4 or 5 star resort bucks either.

The patio area could use a couple of flood lights shining down on to the water which would also attract more fish during the hours of darkness. The parking area was also very small.

Location Directory on seaside. Fridge and small kitchen included.

Mood in bathroom, pictures in Internet looks great -reality is different. US couple took over hotel some Month ago. No breakfast. It was the worse hotel during our 2 weeks holiday in florida. Price definitly too high.

When I arrived the staff was very friendly and Immediately greeted me when I walked in the door. Before taking me to my room they had someone check to make sure it was up to good standards while someone else showed me around so that I knew what the hotel offered. They offer free canoes and paddle boats along with fishing and grills that you can use as you wish.

Sofa and love seat are a bit low to the ground and overly cushy. Small thing, but that kept the "comfort" rating lower.

Very cosy place. Like they say: paradise. They created a nice outside place to chill out.

Sadly to discover a very dirty bbq and kitchenfacilities.

I only stayed one night. My husband liked the back deck on the water

Room was very old. Bed uncomfortable. Rust in the tub and on the shower curtain rings. Kitchen bottom cabinet would fall off air conditioner vents would fall off when try to adjust and very dusty. Overall my impression was OLD

The staff we met were very nice & went out of their way to be helpful. The pool area seemed decent and on the backside there was an area on the "canal"? to sit w/ a grill to use at night.

The room is tiny and you can hear all the plumbing in the surrounding rooms - very loud! They could make this a very cute place w/more landscaping & flowers and bright Florida colors!

It is a quaint old hotel that is nicely decorated with a lovely view of the canal running behind the hotel. The hotel was very clean.

The hotel still uses keys for the doors. The shower was 22"x 22" square. The window air conditioner is very loud. The mattress is very old as are the pillows.

The place was very clean. Because we were in town to attend a funeral of a family member we were unable to make use of the "toys" available but plan on comming back to do so.

We could not find anything wrong

Deck overlooking water, hammock, free bikes kayaks paddle boats and fishing gear, quiet, close to restaurants and shopping, pool, great atmosphere

While the location is great for restaurants and shopping and the area is quiet, the hotel is located in a private neighborhood between homes and condominiums. This location takes away from the "escape" vacation feeling
