The location was great. It's just far away from the congestion of town, but close enough to everything.
Location and patios
I know it was just renovated but some additional upgrades are needed. I am a young professional from Atlanta, so I may be pickier than your target audience :)
It has a lot of charm and character. Maybe a tad run down. Expensive.
Nice staff, pretty lobby, good price.
Run down room, drain in bathroom sink would not drain, room not very pretty, pillows smelled old, weather stripping to balcony door broken, not enough options for breakfast, ice maker broken, water fountain broken. Over all needs updating & better maintenance.
It was not convenient for restaurants in Highlands.
Friendly, casual and clean.
Excellent location and great beds.
Hotel was very quiet with a lot of empty capacity as this was midweek.
Breakfast was very basic. Cereal, yogurt, coffee, apples, banana, bread. Simple packaged stuff.
Trees around grounds, ok breakfast
Sloppy messy lobby, room had cat urine smell, maid service poor, staff means well but it's not a good hotel
Quite location, room was nice and breakfast was good.
Motel was remote from main area of town requiring you to drive downtown.
Cozy feel. Staff were very nice and willing to help in any way. Located off the beaten path from town which is a good thing if you're looking for something a little more secluded. I would definitely stay there again.
Available for just a single night.
A bit worn & dark. Lack of power outlets, hard to work in room.
Staff very accommodating. Room redo attractive.
Lobby was dark. Breakfast area needs attention. Revisit punch list items--you're almost done. Room coffee maker leaked.
The gentleman at the desk on arrival was cordial and most efficient; the young lady, Mary Beth, upon checkout, was the same. We thought the beds were the most comfortable we've encountered in lots of travels. It was an extremely pleasant stay.
ease of parking to room location - location to where we wanted to be was excellent for the price; clean rooms and comfortable beds - good tv - coffee in room available and nightlight provided!
lack of use of elevator between hours of 9:00 p.m. -8:00 am next day; looked like they had a set up for breakfast but not serving -even coffee to be made available...perhaps this is because it wasn't 'high season' at location yet
Location to downtown
False advertising...website said only few rooms available and there were less than 10 cars in parking lot all weekend. Under renovations so some of lodge could not be occupied. No breakfast. No hot water. TV remote was inoperable.
Location, room was very clean, staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Lobby closed early. There was no staff on duty after 6.
Great rooms for money
Staff was friendly and helpful
Friendly day attendants.. Clean hotel.. Good price..
Breakfast had a lot to be desired... Ended up going and getting breakfast somewhere else.. Understand they may not have a lot of guests when we were there ( off season) but it was bad..
We needed lodging on an emergency bases. My brother in Cashiers died, and we came to his funeral. Many places open were already booked, and a number were seasonally closed, but you were open.. partially, anyway.
Down&out rooms that were shut off from the lobby at 8:00. Elevators not opening until 8:00 AM so we could access coffee in the lobby because there's not enough offered in the room. Old mattress, old TV, improperly weatherstripped outside door allowed "polar vector" cold easy access to interior of room.
