ITH really is an amazing experience! This was my first time at a hostel and I must say, I wouldn't have it any other way! The staff was amazing, location was great, the hostel is clean and nicely set up... Great stay, great price :) definitely recommend it.

The community is really friendly, they make you feel very welcome.

The dorm room i stayed in was a jungle. There were long term guests staying there who left their stuff all over the room. There was maybe 2 square feet of room for my stuff. The other rooms looked fine but that one was chaos. Bathrooms were very clean and kitchen was clean. Also free communal iPad everyone could use, that was nice.

The guests were all very well mannered and no one was rowdy. There was always a free shower to use and the kitchen had all the necessary items.

Small criticism but I wish the hostel had a freezer.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. There were free breakfast and dinner every day, the showers were clean and so were the rooms and beds. Very good value for money. You get to meet many people from all over the world and relate to each other.

The shower heads need more water pressure.

The staff were amazing - plus breakfast and dinner were included - although we didn't take advantage, I thought this was a great perk!

Really nice hostel where it's easy meeting new people. Everyone is so nice and there's always a good atmosphere. Very nice and helpfull staff. Great breakfast: every day it's different!

Hillcrest is a nice neibourhood, but it's quite far from everything: if you want to go somewhere (downtown, old town, beaches) you have to take one or two buses. You don't know till the last minute if there are goingo to held the planned activities.

If you want to meet new people, this place is suitable. The staff are friendly. I had a good time there.

As hostel is nothing, but no comparison with relaxing hotels. Big difference!

Meg, excellent manager. Great location. Comfortable beds and mattresses enclosed in plastic- sanitary. Occasional light meals at night and light breakfasts.

Louder music piped throughout hostel public areas 12 to 16 hours/day. No regular vacuuming of dorm area carpets. Pillows were old and not sealed in protective covers.

I was very welcomed here in lieu of the fact that 90pct of the clientele here was half my age. Great atmosphere and location here. If you are truly friendly, open minded and enjoy meeting new people this is a great spot. Highly recommended if this is your lifestyle.

    No complaints.

Hot in the rooms had oscillating fans no A/C. Sheets were itchy. Could not sleep in the heat ended up sleeping elsewhere. Would not go again.

Had a very good time at International Travelers House; facilities were of good quality, room was spacious and clean, staff super friendly and helpful and overall the vibe in the place was very accommodating, relaxed and friendly.

My only minor gripe with the place was the location - although right next to the Zoo and adjacent park and museum area, getting downtown took a bit of time and effort due to buses not always running according to schedule.
