The owners were so kind and the room (though small) was very clean and had simple, modern decor. Much better than I had expected.
The bed was only a double, we would have preferred a king or queen but still enjoyed a good night's sleep.
Noise from passing trains
TV did not work. Cheetos seen under the bed. Beds uncomfortable. Overpriced !!
Flat screen TV with Cable. The location worked well too. I didn't use the wifi so I don't know how well it worked. The staff seemed pretty nice and they also said if I called them to book room they would give me a good rate on the newer rooms. I don't know why they didn't make me an offer when I was there.
It was a very old room and bed. The bed was very hard ..I had the fold up the bedspread and put it under the sheet to make it soft enough to sleep on. I didn't like that the picture shown on the website was of a renovated room but I was booked into an old room. The back up lock on the door was broken.
Family owned, operated - very nice people. Service was great. Train station is right across the street. A great pub is also right down the street (McGraws). You also have a shopping center with a grocery store and a couple of restaurants within walking distance.
Didn't have the fastest internet service but, fast enough for typical use cases. I claim that the location is "excellent", which it is, if you are looking for what I was looking for - something in between silicon valley and the city. Belmont was perfect (and a very nice city). If you are planning a trip to San Francisco, Belmont might not be what you are looking for (although the train gets you to the city in like 20+ mins).
The loud trucks 4 am
Quite clean, with thorough daily cleaning. Good parking and very close to Caltrain station. Bathroom was OK. Big TV, fridge & microwave in the room.
Overpriced: small, dark, unpleasant room, old equipment, frequent problems with wi-fi. Staff not too nice. Lack of good iron. It was not a pleasure to stay there.
Had fridge, microwave, coffee maker in room
Room had places that appeared to have been patched and not finished. Loose tiles outside the door. Room to get ice seemed to be under construction.
Bathroom sink was stopped up (slow draining/clogged). I got there late at night, so I couldn't get it addressed.
Good Hospitality services
No Sound protection in these rooms and it's located in the road which have more unusual vehicle noises. Also noisy couples from neighbour room disturbed me lot.
Having a fridge was great, the staff so very nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We like having two pillows each, and the staff accommodated us with our request. We were down working on our apartments for a week. We didn't finish and are back here again, same room for another week. we'll stay here when we are ever in town.
We live in the woods without any noise at night. The road is busy, but does quiet down after 10pm as does the train. We were here for several days and the noise became less noticeable.
The room was basic but had all we needed.
Far too expensive for what it was.
Quiet area The front desk responded quickly
I paid more money for a bigger tub and I didn't get my monies worth. The cable didn't work nor did the tv turn on and both rooms smelled like smoke. I had an uncomfortable night. I wanted my money back but didn't bother to engage with the hotel front desk.
On pictures from internet, looks more luxuri.
Convenience to train
broken locks on door coffee maker bags are wrong sized for the coffee maker :-(
There was not iron table
