Patrica is a great host, her home is lovely and in a walking distance to post office, supermarkets & restaurants. Patrica is a really nice person and help us book a wonderful hiking trip to the volcanoes at last minute. We difinitely would recommend this place.

We absolutely *LOVED* our stay here. The owner is a wonderful host and the place is of impeccable cleanliness. We got great tips to do in the area and further away on the island. Breakfast included fresh fruit from the garden which was simply amazing. We felt at home straight away and when we come back to Hilo, we will definitely stay here again.

we had a few communication difficulties initially due to the reliance on need for internet access but probably the approaching hurricane didn't help with clear thinking on my part!
Although we stayed only one night and was flying out the next day,we found it a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay with all facilities and amenities available.I felt safe too, with the tropical storm raging around,.I rather regretted Hurricane Iselle didn't close the airport as I would have enjoyed another nights stay there.Would definitely recommend to other travellers.

My original plan in Hilo is only 3days, but after I stayed, I make it a 7-days stay in Hilo. It's a really nice place, full of Aloha!

Not realising that i had to pay extra for the breakfast. In NZ a BnB price always includes the breakfast. I will know next time.
Quiet location. Close to Hilo. Cleanliness. Friendliness of owner. Able to use whole house as if my own.

The house was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really nice. Above all, Patricia is very kind and warmful host. Thanks to her, my trip to hilo became fun further. With my confidence, I recommend Hilo town hale to people considering accommodation in hilo.

It is a room in a small private house rented by the owner - when arriving there is no sign telling "Hilotown Hale" - I first thought my GPS was wrong. Arrival time has to be prearranged by email or phone in order that the owner is present.
Good value for the money, clean, friendly landlord. I stayed just one night before departure from Hilo airport, which is very close.

The hostess is friendly. She provided helpful advice about dining in town. We slept well in the comfortable. Breakfast was quite good. We would recommend it.
