Location is close to a nice dining area in Alexandria.
There was gum on the floor, the hairdryer was covered in some sticky substance, the cleanliness of the bathroom was only so-so, the staff at the reception desk was not very friendly, the rates for parking and internet were outrageous. High parking fee included, this stay was totally not worth it. Would not go again!
Staff is very helpful
outrages parking cost having to pay for room Wifi
Paying for parking every day and internet
My room was spacious and sunny with an open view which was really nice to have. The staff was very gracious and helpful which made me feel very welcomed. The breakfast was abundant with many choices. A great perk was the sushi bar in the hotel that was really good. Being there for a conference, meant not having much time to get out of the hotel so having all these amenities on site added to a pleasurable stay.
My room had terrible internet access. I had to sit on the floor next to the door for a decent connection. They did try to resolve the issue but were not successful. Also, the hotel is far from Alexandria itself so you have to take transportation which is expensive and the hotel only offers shuttle service in the afternoon.
Decorations and wall painting were nice. Breakfast commons was good.
Came in mid night and was asked to park my car in the garage, valet was $27 and garage $24. No one was available to Valet, so went to the garage to park and walked back to the hotel. At $150/night, go to the Hyatt!, not worth anything more than 80-90 bucks for this hotel. The room service kept knocking and trying to push open the door starting 7.30 am. Ridiculous Every 20minutes. They don't expect anyone to sleep after 6 am?!
Shuttle to s Metro was an unexpected bonus. Bedding was of high quality and very comfortable.
Another restaurant choice would have been good.
Staff very helpful Shuttle efficient
AIR CON toooo cold..
Room rate and location
Car parking was expensive I paid $24 , you have to pay for internet, there was no complementary water in the room fridge
I loved the panoramic view. At night the lights made the view amazing. That sold the room for me.
The location is beautiful. The room was very spacious and the maids are awesome!
The parking was confusing. The front desk clerks seemed to be nicer to older couples and families but rude to me because of my age. Dont judge a book by its cover. The hotel rooms should definitely include a microwave. The phone did not work and there was not any ice on either floor. Small things count as well.
The price was good for the location. The coffee in the room was delicious.
The toilet was dirty upon arrival. The tv didn't work when and when we called the front desk for help no one answered. Even after physically going to the front desk to let them know of the issue no one showed up to fix it. Very disappointing. Paying for parking and wifi was not good either.
The room was beautiful.
Check in was 3:00- got there at 2:50 and was told room wasn't clean. It was 3:35 until we got a call to check in. Check out was noon. Cleaning staff knocked on the door at 8:55! Seriously....?
Nothing, both room were a dissapointment for us.
Pricing, pay for parking, pay for breakfast, the crib I requested in advance was not in the room when I got there. Then the guy that brought it up, brought a playpen saying that they only had one crib. I told him that I need a crib because my baby do not sleep well in a playpen. He wanted to convince me to accept it and went on saying that the hotel only had one crib. I asked him if it was being used he said no, so I told him, so you should already had brought it to us since we requested so long ago and no one was using it. I had to argue with him to have the crib brought to the room. The tub was so dirty that I felt sick just looking at it. The next day it continue dirty and even worse because one could see that whoever clean the place only dried the tub around and left the bundle of loose hair on the side of the tub and the body oil stiked to the bottom and sides of tub. The towels had black spot on it so was the linens. The coffee maker was so dirty that mold was growing in the water dispenser. The breakfast servers at the restaurant, both morning, were very unfriendly toward kids. The front desk person I went to explain to her that I was going to park my car while someone was going to bring the crib to my room, she reply rudely that they were not there to wait just for me. Wow! I could not believe what she said. I was just trying to free the front entrance for other guesses and I was not asking anyone to stay still and wait for me. For the contrary, I was just informing that I was going to be parking the car so they would not be waiting for me and they could bring it later or leave by the room door as they did anyway. Her answer was very unprofessional rude and unnecessary. The little store next to the left of the front desk, is unbelievable. She told me that the "machine" was not working. So I told her that it was ok because I was going to pay with cash. I went pay for the merchandise $8.45 I gave $20.
The price, the location, I was allowed to check out a little later - 1:30 PM.
poor selection of TV channels.. The room was not cleaned well before we got there - there was used soap in the soap dish, garbage in the pail, and somebody's food in the fridge. no table in the room to sit and eat (room service). Wifi charge was outrageous for this day and age. Many hotels give it to you for FREE and some charge you maybe $10 for the day. Yours was that much for ONE hour. Ridiculous!
i like the room and the size of the room.
i didn't like that the bathtub was a little dirty.
Beds Front desk staff
Expensive parking ...and no alternative Dirty bathroom
That I was close enough to the church were my grandfather funeral service was being held. The price I got for the room, with my reservation date being so close.
All that money for the room and have to pay for parking and WiFi. The fact my card is charged double for the price of room is ridiculous. I only stayed for 2 nights. Parking is $24 a day....why is there a hold on my card for $100?? This was a last minute reservation since I couldn't stay with family and I wasn't expected to get charged all this money. The hotel is quick to take off all this money but drags their feet about putting back on your card. Also the housekeeping staff left a huge pile of dirty towels right outside the ice machine that was just funky.
It was close to the attraction in Washington DC
The price I was giving on booking. Com was not what I pay. Pay over $200 more for room and $24 a day for parking at hotel.
I like the location and environment the hotel provided.
I don't understand why the rooms don't have a microwave.
I loved the location and my view from my room. The room itself was comfy and cozy very relaxing. A very nice set up
I did not like the staff they weren't to friendly at all but I would go back and stay cuz the room was nice
the charge 24 dollars for parking even you are a hotel visitor. the bath not so clean.
Very comfortable bed
Parking very expensiv 24 dollar for overnight pr day.
overall the rooms where Excellent the people at the front desk where very nice
The shuttle service to the Pentagon City mall was very convenient and made it easy to get into the heart of DC on the Metro. The staff was great--very helpful and friendly. The view was very nice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. The restaurant and room service were both great too!
Would have liked to get some laundry done as on a long trip and they only have dry cleaning service but they were very helpful in locating a nearby laundromat.
Close to the offices I needed to visit.
The room was disgusting. Make-up fingerprints all over the bathroom door and walls. The smoke detector was hanging by wires. the sprinkler head was covered in dust and grime. The room smelled like urine. Just one of the most disgusting Hiltons we've ever stayed in.
