The location was good. I went for walks and was able to walk to a 7-11 to pick up a few snacks. The area was clean and nicely landscaped.
When a hotel charges $24 per night to self park in an open lot, it should be stated in the hotel additional fees! I booked an 8 night stay but had to leave my car at my daughters in Springfield to avoid the additional 6 nights. The fee for Valet parking was stated so why wouldn't the self, open lot parking also be stated?
Location was excellent and the room was very spacious.
WiFi to expensive for the length of my stay.
My fiance and I dressed a particular way to see if we would be treated any differently in hopes that we would not be the staff treated other guest with more respect than we were treated with and the only difference that was noticeable was our appearance... We had money, proper identification, manners, and spoke using grammatically correct English including no profanity the way guest are treated should be the same
Guest parking was under construction. We were misinformed as where to park by the attendant. Then we found a better spot
The shuttle to Airport and Pentagon city was very convenient. The stuff was so helpful, especially CJ the front desk Manager, and rest of his team,, as well as all concierges and shuttle driver and the restaurant team. Being a Hilton honor club member was an added value here. Ask for room overlooking the lake,, for us it was like heaven in 2nd floor in the extension directly in front of the fountain.
The room and furniture was old a bit, and need more cleaning and maintenance. Washrooms were too small compared to the spacious rooms.
Parking overnight costs $24
My wife became ill & had to be hospitalized for 7 days. The hotel staff was extremely compassionate & accommodated my requests to extend our stay from 2 nights to 8 nights! They even honored our room rate! Can not speak highly enough about this hotel!
Stafe are very polite
Carpet in hall way
Location to Washington, DC
The lack of variety of restaurants around to choose to eat from.
Staff were courteous. Room was clean.
lighting in rooms needs to be brighter
Free Shuttle to Metro / Reagan National Food in restaurant and bar was very good, at reasonable price. Everything was clean. Facility and property pleasant and well managed.
Hated heavy duvet covers on bed. Way too hot with them on, freeze without them.
clean. good for price.
Good reliable shuttle service which was needed as it was 10 minutes from subway and shopping centre Room was nice with balcony
Supplies were not replenished and we had to keep requesting supplies eg t bags, sugar etc Didn't like being in The Retreat area as it was like a rabbit warren to find our room
The balcony and the sheets on the bed. Also the tv size
Wish it was more open but that's minimal compared to everything
Everything is very clean!
I want a queen size bed and I reserved 3 days before, but still I got a double beds room.
Location is close to a nice dining area in Alexandria.
There was gum on the floor, the hairdryer was covered in some sticky substance, the cleanliness of the bathroom was only so-so, the staff at the reception desk was not very friendly, the rates for parking and internet were outrageous. High parking fee included, this stay was totally not worth it. Would not go again!
double charges on card hidden charges room service tax is outrages food is poor quality Staff is not helpful and give you the run around Rooms are not cleaned and advertised features do not work properly
The location was good
The room facilities were not compatible to the value
Staff is very helpful
outrages parking cost having to pay for room Wifi
Paying for parking every day and internet
My room was spacious and sunny with an open view which was really nice to have. The staff was very gracious and helpful which made me feel very welcomed. The breakfast was abundant with many choices. A great perk was the sushi bar in the hotel that was really good. Being there for a conference, meant not having much time to get out of the hotel so having all these amenities on site added to a pleasurable stay.
My room had terrible internet access. I had to sit on the floor next to the door for a decent connection. They did try to resolve the issue but were not successful. Also, the hotel is far from Alexandria itself so you have to take transportation which is expensive and the hotel only offers shuttle service in the afternoon.
Decorations and wall painting were nice. Breakfast commons was good.
Came in mid night and was asked to park my car in the garage, valet was $27 and garage $24. No one was available to Valet, so went to the garage to park and walked back to the hotel. At $150/night, go to the Hyatt!, not worth anything more than 80-90 bucks for this hotel. The room service kept knocking and trying to push open the door starting 7.30 am. Ridiculous Every 20minutes. They don't expect anyone to sleep after 6 am?!
Shuttle to s Metro was an unexpected bonus. Bedding was of high quality and very comfortable.
Another restaurant choice would have been good.
Staff very helpful Shuttle efficient
AIR CON toooo cold..
Room rate and location
Car parking was expensive I paid $24 , you have to pay for internet, there was no complementary water in the room fridge
