Room was tiny with not even a hanger or place to hang clothes. Housekeeping was very subpar.
Location for my visit was great. Restaurant was tasty and convenient. Bell and valet staff very friendly

We couldn't check in until almost 3 hours after check-in time, pool didn't have any towels on top of it being very cold water, price of the room service was ridiculous for scrappy food.
Can't really say that I liked much

There was a old Orange in our room and had to ask 3 times before someone helped me

No shuttle to/from airport, No wi fi, even in computer room, hundreds of people waiting for 2 computers. I know you could pay for it , but all I had to do was check my email (about 5 minutes) Total for my room was about $350.00 for 1 night. You probably could afford wi fi. Hilton has really gotten cheap

For a Hilton the hotel is very outdated and it shows. Worn carpets, blinds, etc. Bad design when it was built, still a bad design. Housekeeping didn't show up until the evening hours, after 5pm, and then asked if I "really" wanted my room cleaned. Well, of course I do!
The location was great, staff were super polite and helpful.

There was not internet without a fare in the room. On the site I booked it it said it had a shuttle but it didn't. It's was super spending for parking it was closer and cheaper to park yourself and they didn't tell you there was a charge to park. The receptionist gave us a room that had a wall for a view. Not worth the price coinciding the services. Communication was poor.
The room was nice and clean.

hassles with Reception and Accounting Department
July 12, 2014
My room had a wire hanger on the lamp shade when I walked in. Just made me question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned . It was very clean however maybe a second person double checking since these types of things can be overlooked easily when involved first hand.
Room service open late with good variety and quality

Having only 1 night to spend here!
Only here 1 night but very happy with accomodation. Close to lots. Around the corner from visitor info and 1 hour city tour which helped us get a good feel for Anchorage. Purchased beautiful breakfast in their cafe - great value and such pancakes!

The room and hotel were not up to modern standards that can be expected of the Hilton chain. The price per night was VERY HIGH, at least double when compared to facilities and quality. Very old-fashioned windows allowing a great deal of noise from the street (which was being repaired at the time - so it was extraordinarily noisy. The room was not clean, the curtains and net curtains were dirty. The bathroom was not clean enough (i.e. washbasin overflow was filthy - Ughh) The stay was unpleasant and other guests we came to know relocated to other hotels in the city.
The bed was comfortable and linen clean

My room did not have a fridge or microwave and for such an expensive rate I thought it would come with that without having to ask.I chose not to ask. The room was ok too but there too for such a high dollar cost I thought it would be much nicer. For such an expensive hotel I thought the pool would be much nicer and have a jacuzzi. I did go see the pool and saw the jacuzzi is a plant holder. I did not remember if I noticed in the ad if a jacuzzi was part of the hotel ammenities but if I were to come back to need to stay in Anchorage I prefer a much nicer pool and would want a hotel with a jacuzzi. I really thought the hotel room rate was way overpriced.
location was great , staff great ! I did not get a chance to try the food because I ate out. I was going to try to swim but did not make it.

The hotel is expensive for what it is and feels tired.
Great location, near the shops and restaurants and an interesting view of the trains and mud flats

The room our first night, room 314, had not been upgraded as other rooms had been. Carpeting was frayed, scuff marks on the wallpaper and foyer tile, hanging hook on bathroom door was broken off. In addition, there were food crumbs on the carpeting and the window sill. The windows had not been washed in months.
The staff was able to put us into a newer and cleaner room after our first night.

I've stayed in Motel 6's that were better and whole lot less expensive. My wife and I stayed at this property 10 years ago and were extremely disappointed to find the facility had declined so dramatically and fell far short of our expectations. We have communicated this to our travel agent and plan to let the Hilton in on our little insight. As a regular traveler this Hilton property was not able to come close to satisfying our needs.

size of room, no refrigerator or microwave, no free wifi, parking sucks continental breakfast retarded have to wait in a huge line just to get a table and then 30 min later you might get some coffee. small tv uncomfortable beds old comforters no juice or milk or concession stand available. no fan in bathroom couldnt even find a remote over all it was terrible for being one of the highest priced hotels in town i thought we were gonna pay to get all the extras instead it was one of the worst rooms i have ever stayed in.
i liked the weight room and the fact there was a pool

No refrigerator, microwave, internet, had to pay for every little thing.

For a Hilton hotel it seemed a little on the tattered side. Time for a face lift or price drop.
