Score from 126 reviews Excellent
Situated across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., and moments from major attractions, including the White House, this hotel features exceptional amenities and many modern services, including...

Featuring rooms with a flat-screen cable TV, The Inn of Rosslyn is in Arlington, just over half a mile from the US Marine Corps War Memorial. Wi-Fi access is available free of charge for guests.
Score from 86 reviews Good
Not necessarily a bad thing but our room needed a chair in addition to the desk chair alone.
Clean room, comfortable bed. Parking less costly than Hyatt which doesn't offer self parking.
Shouldn't have to pay for parking when the hotel itself is a little pricey. And there were no vending or soda machines. What are supposed to do when all the restaurants and shops are closed?
The hotel was great. The restaurant was decent. Everyone was friendly.
They charge for wireless access if you are not a Hilton member.
Most convenient hotel for people visiting NSF. It is located on building away from NSF and right at the Balliston Metro station. Try Il Forno for a good Italian dinner with a nicer environment than the many chain restaurants in the area.
Paid Wifi, No free wifi even at corridors and reception disk
staff , location and cleanness
That I'm going to need to make extra effort to get a quiet room.
Everything except noisy guests in hall. Last year it was a frisky couple in next room.
I have been staying at this hotel since the early 1990s. One thing that is strange is that about every third time there is some event such as painting the hotel, with all the smells, or testing the fire alarms at 7 AM. This kind of disruption seem a bit unusual.
This hotel is very comfortable but quite expensive (like most hotels in the area). Location is fantastic. The restaurant is surprisingly good especially for breakfast. Clean and quiet room.
Repeated, multiple pre-authorization holds placed on debit card during the stay. Over $1500 of pre-auths for a $850 stay. Lucky I had enough in the account to cover it all!
It was literally located in front of a Metro station allowing easy access to all the points of interest in the Washington, D.C., area.
Paied $11/night for the internet. The internet was so slow that it took a minute to load a website. There is no free wifi even in the lobby are.
the location is excellent.
fire alarm keep going off at 5am and then thru out rest of the day while they worked on it
loved close metro station
Breakfast was not included, and in rooms there was a fee for internet access (free in the lobby though).
Professional staff. Good, clean, well maintained business hotel. Excellent location by the National Science Foundation and the Ballston metro station.
No pool, no free wifi(who pays for wifi these days), pay to park in there parking garage, 1 of 2 elevators didn't work, tv didn't work(never before in any hotel the tv didn't work), cleaning services didn't empty garbage out daily, creamers left in room for coffee were old.
The pillows and bed, metro very close
The room doors are awful. You can't shut them quietly no matter how hard you try. AC kept making loud noises and walls and floors seemed paper thin for noise. Not a good night for a light sleeper. No microwave? Even Super 8 had that ;)
Most comfortable beds ever. The staff at the front desk was awesome. Always friendly, helpful and smiling
Literally at a Metro stop with lots of food and a mall nearby this location is perfect for a leisure trip to DC.
For some reason the air conditioning did not operate at full capacity. I set the thermostat at 63 and turned the fan up to high. The room never cooled off. It was not completely uncomfortable, but unfortunate nevertheless...
The hotel is literally next to the Ballston Metro stop. We exclusively travel by Metro when in DC so this is a great thing to know when visiting Arlington. This seems to be an older property, but well maintained. We usually stay at another hotel in the area, but we will give the Arlington Hilton consideration as an option...
The first room I was in had the most uncomfortable bed I switched rooms and managed to get some sleep but I never felt rested while there, it was humid and unbearably warm in the middle of the night. It was as if they shut the air conditioning off during the days and in the early morning hours. The breakfast, while nice was not as good as the holiday inn down the street which was cheaper and the staff didn't ask me constantly if I was actually staying there (I was in business casual attire, so I know I wasn't looking like a bum). Wi-fi was costly, slow and often cut out. The parking was fine, but it is kind of creepy when you are forced into a dark corner of the claustrophobic concrete tomb.
Nice looking with a great mood. I felt like I was living it up. The breakfast had some pretty nice fancy options and the location can't be beat. I like the hiltons bathrooms.
Great stay except the AC went out during the night in our room
I didn't like the customer service I received from Susan the manager. I had to ask her if there was a problem because of the way she was looking at me. Also the fact I had to pay for parking, the fact my bill was 111.28 but my card was charged 128.65 and charge 2 more times for 10. Than 40 so my card was charged 3 times. WHY?
Water shut off from 11p to 5a on a Saturday night. Was inconvenient and nothing done to make up for it like break on price, complimentary breakfast, etc.
Inattentive breakfast staff. Lobby needs coffee and/or lemon water 24/7.
Friendly desk and house keeping staff, helpful bell captain. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Great to be next to the mall, Starbucks, and esp. the Metro.
No free wifi
The parking was the worst! The exiting directions were NOT precise. I felt insecure walking with suitcases fro parking lot to the hotel ESP late night time! But otherwise it was ok
Staff was exceptionally polite & accommodating! The room was clean and tidy! I really enjoyed my stay!
Not family friendly at all, no pool, no kids eat free, nothing of the sort. Didn't do enough research so I suppose that's our fault.
It had beds, and the location was only good because it was by the metro, bus station and a small mall.
Excellent location for the metro! Good bars and places for eating within walking distance too.
No free breakfast
Close to Metro
excellent location. next to metro station and several government agency programs
