Location is convenient
Too much carpet. My allergy complains...
location - the only onsite hotel; comfortable beds; quietness; got very good deal at <$100 therefore excellent value for money
tired rooms; first room given had 2 out of 3 lamps not working, second one smelled of cigars, but we're too tired to change again after 22 hours of flights
No traffic struggle, wake up, and go straight to the terminal for your flight.
I spent more money parking in Chicago than I expected at Art Institute and Navy Pier. Valet at hotel was very good but expensive.
I stayed at the Hilton Chicago O'Hare twice during a recent trip to the usa. A short walk from the terminals thru an underground pedestrian tunnel, and you're there, much better than waiting on the cold/hot kerbside for a "courtesy" bus from the remote hotels. The hotel dealt swiftly and without stress with issues arising from a cancelled flight during the recent difficulties at O'Hare and Midway, mine was one of 700 cancelled flights in 1 day. Choice of eateries as well as gym, pool. And although it is out of downtown, it's only about100m in the pedestrian tunnel from the Blue Line on the L system to take you anywhere you want to go. Perfect for a Chicago transit or even business/holiday.
Convenience to airport, ease of check-in and check-out, food in the bar.
It took nearly 3 hours for my request for featherless pillows to be fulfilled.
Location is good. It is connected to airport terminals by tunnels.
Although it was cold in Chicago, but heating of air-conditioning of this hotel did not work.
location staff facilities
Great access to trains Good rates
Restricted to hotel restaurants Good airport hotel short stays only
Attached to the terminals by an underground passage, you can't do better for an airport hotel. Coped with rearranged travel plans for myself and many many others due to delays and cancellations to flights without a ruffled feather. Where would you like to eat, coffee shop for a grab and go, sports bar with multiple screens or the Italian restaurant?? Flight information screens in the lobby, carry on check in for some airlines.
Location from airport terminal very close
Location was great, got a reasonable rate.
Went down to cafe and it didn't open till noon not helpful.
Sports Bar rip off
Location Comfort of the room Very friendly staff at check in Super friendly and accommodating staff in the restaurant
Rooms look and feel dated very poor sign posting to the hotel, coming in from terminal 5
I liked the location, because of a cancelling flight I had to stay the night so, could grab some decent sleep without leaving the airport.
For $400 a night in double one would expect a little bit more, at least breakfast and at least one or two bottles of water without charge ($3 each). I just stayed there because it was the only option in the airport.
carpets and price
It's so easy after landing just to follow Hilton signs and be in your room in no time. Get a shower and jump into CTA blue line and be in the heart of Chicago in 45 minutes. It's so easy that you might consider taking also your luggage to downtown. Work's well too. Easy, cheap and definately doable. I could do it so you could too. However home base close to your departure gate may help you to relax.
Hilton O'Hare is just a hotel like any other. Rooms with door to next room are excellent for family travellers but you can also end up listening loud discussion you are not interested in hearing at night. If your room happens to be close to the elevators don't expect those to be more silent than in any other hotel. Also cleaning staff can keep relatively loud catch up meetings close to the elevators or just outside your room. Like in any other hotel but those all not all almost at your gate.
Mold/black stains in the creases of the shower curtains and dust bunnies under the bed and along the baseboards and behind chair/tables in the rooms. Maids sometimes walked the hallways talking too loudly. Translation, that is inconsiderate, disturbs peace and tranquility. However, the location is USA so loud talking is considered normal here. Although, I still find it to be rude and inconsiderate of others.
25$ early check in fee - but only if a room is already available. Additional costs for use of internet in room.
Very clean room and great location
We had to pay for many services you could find for free in other hotels (such as wifi or water bottles) this is really inacceptable given the cost of the room here.
No better Location available at the Airport.
aging Hotel, not typical hilton Standard.
I must tell you that the gentleman who met us at the door, took our luggage up, informed us about the restaurant and this was amazing-to be informed of a shuttle rather than walking! This was a great benefit of staying with you! The restaurant had great food and service!
Please do not sit single and 2 female groups outside the kitchen areas while seating couples and families into quieter areas.
Cleanliness and comfortable
Staff was not helpful, tried to order room service at 1:45 a.m. (just returned from Garth Brooks concert)...no one answered the phone till after 2:10 - then we couldn't order a glass of wine! WAS NOT HAPPY!!!!
cost more including tax and service fee，so，not as cheap as they sold.
