Everyone was very friendly and professional. Gym the best at any hotel I've stayed at! Quiet during the night. Great location!
All was perfect.
Hotel is a jewel of architecture. On top perfect location and Service.
Cramped bathroom, loud air con
Business centre, staff, leisure centre, ambience of bar and reseteraunt interior. Most of all the Doorman was a very helpful chap.
Okay, so it's not a cheap place to stay. That being said, the room itself was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The bathroom was tiny. We actually laughed and said we felt like we were on a cruise......yeah, it was that small. The first night we stayed(of three)it was so noisy I didn't sleep. Banging, clanging, doors slamming all hours of the night......I Just didn't sleep a wink. We notified the front desk/customer service phone number provided while we were there and left a long and detailed message about our disappointment(particularly at the price point!), and they did exactly NOTHING. Long story short, it was a waste of our money and we will NOT stay there again on our next trip in.
The bed itself was quite comfortable and the lobby/dining areas were nice.
We always make sure there is a hot tub when we book a hotel. When we arrived the hot tub was not in service and no one at the front desk had a clue it was broke. The gentleman behind the desk Kyle was sarcastically rude to us about it. The decor in the rooms was very outdated and the room was the size of my closet for 224.00 a night!!
The breakfast buffet was the best part of this hotel!! Excellent food
Strange, but there was no hair dryer in the bathroom...
When I needed to leave due to an emergency, they wanted to charge 100 for a early checkout fee.
The employees are wonderful - from the doormen to the bartenders to the front desk staff. I always feel welcome and cared for.
Staff was awesome very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean located next to shopping and restaurants.
Loved everything about the place. I didn't want to leave
We weren't impressed with the price. 311$ a night just two double beds plus 25$ for an extra bed and $10 to get wifi. Realizing it was new years eve prices were probably more but that was abit steep. Bathroom was very tiny, the photos we saw online showed a separate living area devided by french doors. That was not the case. Big room still but just a desk two doubles a chair unit with mini fridge tv on top and side table.
We stayed new years eve so it was very busy and there were about three weddings happening, non the less staff was very attentive we called down for extra blankets and for someone to bring one of those carts for luggage, they were very quick. Beds were comfortable and we had a great view of the river.
The location. The 1930's original art-deco. The restaurant room is really wonderful. I was expecting Al Capone to pop up from any corner but he did not show up.
Loved the location and proximity to shopping and fountain square. Loved all the activity going in and around hotel. Wonderful rooms and wide hallways.
when we got in our car to leave, after valet parkingfor 2 nights and not driving it at all, we noticed that our Garmin GPS was missing. There was no noticeable forced entry so either they left it unlocked in a public parking area or an employee took it. Either way, it is not good to have that at such a great hotel otherwise!
everything was great except the valet parking
Bathroom smelled of mildew. Had to ask for housekeeping services; it was 4:00'pm and they still haunts cleaned our room.
Parking was complicated. Took me 45 minutes to find my car, Levels poorly marked. 20$ per day for in out parking. Shared with city parking.
Great Bar and Restaurant. Classic decoration
Service with a smile and staff willing to go the extra mile. Easy to get around on foot to all main eateries and shopping. Loved the older style decor Best place to stay
Rooms were very small
Older property. Has had an upgrade but needs modernization
Restaurant lovely! Hotel has nice deco details. Great location
The decor in the breakfast buffet contradicts the lovely decor elsewhere. Petty - yes but you asked!
Great room, close to every where we needed to be, glamorous ambience and the best wait staff at the bar no matter the time! I fell in love with Cincinnati and this hotel had a lot to do with it!
the toilet kept getting stuck and running,The room number was 2440.
The location , the guest services were excellent, and the unrequested room upgrade was a nice surprise. Thank you for making our 14th anniversary a memorable one.
The airconditioner/fan was right next to the bed. When it was running, it chilled the bed. When it turned off, it got warm. I was, however, anxious about our trip starting on the American Queen and sometimes, sleep isn't easy.
Overall, everything was excellent
We had two showers. One didn't work at all and the other wouldn't drain. We had to call housekeeping twice to get linens for the sofa bed. Paint is peeling off of baseboards and there appeared to be water damage.
We spent our wedding night there in 1983. It was nostalgic for us and it is a beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of Cincinnati. The staff is great.
Charged you hidden costs and rooms were small. Noisy hotel for small children to sleep.
