Hotel was clean
Wi-Fi was non-existent.
I thought the people who worked there were very rude and i would never stay there again.
While hotel only offer $30 valet parking, there is plenty of parking possibilities around the hotel!
Internet down (cable cut during construction ) for a whole day. However, a very understanding hotel manager apologised and sorted out compensation. Well done !
The location was in between 5th and 6th so it made the trip back easy. There is also a parking garage close by.
I thought the breakfast buffet was a little overpriced at 12.95.
I made a mistake in booking this hotel, I thought I was biking the Hilton Downtown hotel and didn't realize until I checked in. The price was high for the size and quality of the rooms and amenities.
The bed was very comfy, had a nice view. Front desk and valet people were very nice. Great location if you want to be close to 6th street. Loved the hotel.
The only thing i didnt like was housekeeping not going the day before we checked out. Lady knocked on the door and i told her we would be out in 5 minutes. 2 hours later when we went back to the room it was clear she did not go back. Oh and they also forgot to refill the coffee for the coffee machine in the room. But that was ok.
Easy check in and checkout. Good room.
Only old fashioned charging plug. Needs a "port" connection.
Location. Proximity to downtown music scene was excellent. Walkable ! Also I-35 right there, artery to the rest of Austin. Austin very vibrant, youthful city, will return !
Had some difficulty connecting to Wi-Fi. Directions not the best.
Staff was nice, bed was comfy but a little sagging in the middle. Valets were attentive.
Rooms were inadequate...should have a little table to sit at. There wasn't any complementary muffins or fruit. That is ridiculous for the price we paid. The morning buffet was VERY expensive and there wasn't any other option to get something smaller. Another turn off. The SMELL was extremley toxic in the lobby....We would run out of there as soon as we got to that floor....perfume smell mixed with toxic smelling chemicals. VERY BAD. The pool is in bad shape....too cold and the metal bar gates in waterfall made it look more like a dungeon. My grandson felt the water was very cold....we did too. Overall --- too pricey and not enough perks.
The mattress was horrible !! Woke up with a backache every morning ! Room 1504 please change mattress. We would sink in the middle of bed and could feel the springs. No good
Free WiFi Big clean rooms Friendly staff Breakfast on 18th floor with excellent city view Free printing
We really enjoyed all the help from staff. They were extremely helpful and nice.
I didn't like that there was a false fire alarm but that's not hotel's fault.
There was a weird smell in the lobby. The pool was really tiny and the water was cold.
The service was great. Valet parking and room service very prompt. We ordered room service at 9:30 pm and had our food in about 20 minutes. The food was great. Everyone was very friendly and polite. Couldn't have asked for a better location.
The bed was horrible! I typically prefer a firm mattress but this was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Pillows were terrible too. For what we paid for the room, the bed should have been like sleeping on a cloud. I have stayed at motel 6 and gotten a better night's sleep (more comfortable bed).
There was always fresh water in the lobby and the staff was excellent. The hotel is in a great location to walk to great restaurants. Next door is a great bakery and beer garden that has bands and also activities.
The pool was very small and the lobby smelled bad. The wifi was very slow as well.
Everything was excellent, Rooms spacious and clean. Staff attentive, friendly and helpful. Location perfect, just a minutes walk from the musical bars of 6th street so we could enjoy the music and come back and have a good nights sleep.
The front desk and valet staff was very friendly.
Room never was cleaned until late evening when a man showed up and replaced large towels only. No small hand towels or wash cloths and no replenishing of coffee and condiments.
I loved the location perfect for seeing the town and for grabbing a bite to eat.
When I arrived my room was really cold (67) I turned it up to 70 and it stayed hot all night. Very uncomfortable throughout my sleeping. Valet parking pricing is also a hair expensive. ($30 a night)
Near Downtown 6th Street. Lots of Bars and Restaurants nearby.
Expensive car parking (30$/day).
Location, Lounge/bar, comfortable bed and room.
Was kind of inconvenient having to use door key on elevator. However I do understand it was security purposes.
Staff was super friendly and accommodating.
A. No swimming pool, just a wading pool B. No lounge chairs @ pool C. No morning room service. D. Matress extremely indented
Clean room. Great location. Friendly staff. Rate was good. Gym was excellent. Free WiFi.
The fact that they only have Valet parking for $30.00/day, and they do not have a continental breakfast option.
