Business close early
I don't like beds like that. Could not figure out how to adjust them. No instructions available in room. Wifi signal was weak.
Our toilet wouldn't flush. Chain broken. Flushed by sticking hand in tank. Fine with not being disturbed but not offered discount for inconvenience.
The front desk staff was very pleasant and friendly. They were happy to help with questions about good restaurants. Very enjoyable stay.
We were in Detroit for a football and baseball game. The hotel was extremely close to Comerica Park and Ford Field and we would stay there again for our next trip. It was only a 5 minute walk. I doubt you could find a closer hotel. You pay for this privilege, but it was well worth it. The staff were extremely friendly and always wanted to help.
The location was great. We were able to walk to many of the hot spots in the downtown area.
I was sick after breakfast for the whole two days of Friday & Saturday. I abstained from eating in the cafeteria after that though I had my breakfast coupons The room on Saturday stayed dirty until late afternoon and when we came back, it wasn't very clean and we didn't find any shampoo or soup
Location is in the downtown and Comerica Park - perfect. Friendly staff, comfy bed, handy working space with wifi. Complimentary morning coffee and teas was nice.
Staff didn't make up our room or our traveling companions' room the one full day we were there. When we called to the front desk to say they weren't made up they asked if we had placed the 'do not disturb' sign on our door. No, we hadn't. They said there was no housekeeping staff available after 4. We went for dinner and fresh towels were in our room when we returned.
Location Quiet- no slamming doors or loud guest Friendly staff
Housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly, beds were heavenly, room was nice and clean, complimentary coffee in the lobby, convenient location close to many restaurants to venues
Nothing to complain about
Very helpful staff, great breakfast. Ideal position for any event at arena.
We were there for a concert at Comerica Stadium and the Hilton was the perfect location. It was 3-4 blocks away from the stadium and walking distance to everything else we did in Detroit. The staff was beyond helpful and extremely friendly and accommodating.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful.
The bed was very very firm, even after we "adjusted" it. Also, we had to go ask how to adjust it. there was nothing in the room that told you how.
Hotel staff was great.
Restaurant staff was rude. Breakfast buffet was confusing and they would not take the time to explain. Ended up only two of the five of us ate here because of this.
Hotel staff was especially nice and concerned about making my stay the best possible.
A new club opened across the street and the loud music didn't end until 2am. Hotel staff was aware of the situation and very apologetic.
Close to Ford Field, clean rooms, comfortable beds
Rooms were not ready at 3pm check-in time...waiting nearly an hour.
The location of the hotel is great...saw two ballgames and spent a couple of days just walking around downtown Detroit and enjoying the great architecture that the city has to offer. Our room was very clean, spacious (had a junior suite) and comfortable even though the bed did slope to the middle. The staff was very friendly and eager to help! The food in the restaurant/bar was very good and the service was great!
There is a club across the street, so sleeping was difficult with all of the loud base thumping noise and had a couple of nights with motor cycles cruising up and down the street until the wee hours of the morning! Parking was too expensive at $22 per day.
In the heart of Lions and Tiger Stadiums. Easy walk to parks
The location and the bedding.
Staff was very friendly and accommodatiing
Downtown Detroit is depressing
We were in Detroit to see some baseball so the location was perfect for that. It's a few minutes walk from Comerica Park. It's also within walking distance of various shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location - easy access in and out of the City; close to Comerica Park - a short walk. Only ate breakfast - was good - even our grandsons enjoyed it.
Loved the proximity to Comerica/Ford Field.... and the restaurant/ clubs associated, we were able to walk. Valet parking quick and efficient for the stay. Rooms clean, comfortable, any needed services quick.
The price is a bit much, definitely need a good GPS to locate- which we did, but would've driven in circles without it.
I like that they were good on all levels. It wad how a hotel stay should be :-)
Too much chlorine in pool & spa. It literally made your eyes tingle. Bed should have been more comfortable.
I did not find too much help about places to visit, when one of the staff advised me to go to art museum she did not know that it was not for public on monday what i discover after i went, then as it was only 6 nights i could not go to the same place twice so i did not visit it
