    The new beds.

The breakfast was ok, but not as good as the last 2 or 3 HGI we have stayed at. Food not kept hot. Omlets did not make it to the plate in good shape. Also, coffee in the room was terrible.

    I liked the front lobby.

I didn't care for the staff when we checked in. They were rude and trying to do everything BUT take responsibility for not having our room that we booked available. After waiting 20 minutes for the lady at the front desk to find us an available King Suite that we booked she asked us multiple times if instead of a King Suitr if we would take a regular room with 2 double beds to which every time I politely replied no. Then after multiple attempts at trying to get us to accept a lesser room another employee walks up to try to fix the computer situation with the rooms and I was told we would have to accept what they had to give even if it was double beds because " sent the reservation through for a queen" to which I told him I don't appreciate being lied to and if that was really the case how without me telling the other lady did she know we were suppose to have a king suite? He never said anything else to me. We were told we were given an "upgrade" which translated to a king room with a sofa NOT a suite like we ordered on the 1st floor. Then to make my stay worse I found out the next morning the original people that checked me in placed an extra almost $90 charge to my credit card to pay the difference between my original booked price and their normal rate. I will never stay at this hotel again!!
