the beds were very comfortable. The option to use the shuttle within a 5 mile radius was a great option also

    parking was at a minimum.

No free breakfast, added another 30 dollars to cost of staying at Hilton, not good value for money.

    Location, WiFi, familiarity.

The beds. The Hilton Garden Inn chain now uses these adjustable mattresses in all of their hotels. It's kind of like a fancy air mattress. No matter what firmness setting I choose, it's never as comfortable as a proper comfy mattress. This is very much a personal opinion, but after two stays in different Hilton Garden Inns, I've decided I'm never going to stay in another one, because sleep is the primary reason for a hotel, and I really dislike these mattresses.

Selling feature was beds with adjustable firmness which did not function properly and ended up not able to adjust from prior guests' awkward settings. Very uncomfortable night

comfortable bed; very clean; Keurig coffee/tea machine and microwave in the room; black out curtains; exercise room and pool; tasty squares and fruit at reception; coffee/tea to go near entrance; staff helpful answering questions; quiet location off of the highway and picturesque; near a small mall and a few good restaurants

    I can't think of anything that I didn't like

The beds were adjustable for firmness and very comfortable; the pillows had a sign that they had been sanitized for each guest. There was Kuerig coffee and tea plus a microwave which we used for popcorn. The location was nearby two nice restaurants (one a Sandfords) and a small mall was not far. Location was off the highway and there was a lot of greenery; even being at the front of the hotel it was quiet for sleeping. The breakfast seemed good with plenty of variety and chef prepared omlettes but we did not have it; it was extra but the $9.95 price seemed reasonable. There were nice oat cake squares or fruit at the front desk. The exercise room contained four or five various pieces of equipment including treadmill, recumbent bicycle which I used, and an elyptical which I also tried. Front desk was friendly and very helpful answering questions and providing information at check in. When they called maintenance to adjust the recumbent bike (due to a broken piece I could not adjust it), the maintenance person arrived quickly and adjusted the bike saying that he would return later to fix it). There was a pool and hot tub which we did not use. Overall we really enjoyed the two days we were there.

    Comfort of beds

Common areas not kept clean like front entrance, elevators. No glasses in the rooms, only paper cups. How cheap! Noise from room above, conversations at normal levels. Bathroom counter noticeably worn. Heat pump blows on you while sitting at desk.

    Staff was great and helpful.

The toilets sound like a 747 taking off when you flush them. Really kind of strange. Bed didn't have a blanket but only a comforter which doubled as a blanket and bed spread. This was a bit different.

The hotel offered complimentary water flavored with fresh fruit and vegetables daily - delicious and healthy. The lobby is very nicely designed and pleasant to spend time in. The daily breakfast buffet is a good value at $10 and is open until 10. There is laundry available. The rooms have microwaves, refrigerators and Keurig coffee machines. Overall, a basic but nice place to stay.

The shower head was too low and the pillows were uncomfortable. The free cookies were terrible.

The bed was comfortable and the Bath was set up well. I liked that the towel rack was actually in the tub enclosure so no awkward reaching for towels after the shower. And the towels and cloths very generous.

The windows did not open for fresh air at night, and the air conditioner/ heater unit was far too noisy for sleeping. Had to chill the room to 64 before going to bed then turn off the fan and woke up at 5 am to a stuffy room. We read that we would get a bill under the door the day of check out to speed our departure, we did not get a bill under the door. There was a line at check out.

Desk staff had prepared handouts for every question we came up with regarding local services, restaurants and shopping.

Bathroom basin drained slowly when we first arrived (but was corrected quickly).

Staff was outstanding; helpful, responsive, professional, friendly. Hotel location excellent near city and freeway but very quite with many trees and vegetation so you feel as though you are in a wooded area. Facilities excellent, response time to problems-immediate.

The beds seem a little bit firm even when "dialed" to soft.
