Score from 528 reviews Very good
nice location and clean room
bathtub did not hold water for a bath. Drain did not seal properly letting water drain out the tub while trying to take a bath.
The side entrance door to the room was extremely hard to open.
Very friendly and courteous staff.
Dusty furniture, bathroom floor wasn't the cleanest
Close to everything
Room was spacious, lovely and updated. Large balcony. Close to downtown and convention center.
Access to my room from parking lot required a flight of stairs, than an elevator. Slightly inconvenient with luggage.
We always enjoy the made-to-order breakfast in the cafe. And it's one exit away from the Del Monte Shopping Center... and 5 minutes from an outstanding Indian buffet....
Hot pool at night.
A little bit far from the city.
The location was next to the main attractions that we wanted to see. The rooms were clean Nice having a refrigerator and microwave
Breakfast stopped being served at 10am on a weekend. The walls are thin, so you can hear most of the movements and conversations of the neighbors (especially when in the bathroom). Having to pay for parking
Decent rooms. Nice to have a kuerig in the room. Balcony in our suite was huge. Nice t.v. Clean facility.
This hotel is directly next to the community college. It shares access roads and therefore traffic. Also our king suite that we paid extra for ( our anniversary ) was facing the street. As in the access road to get to the college. So although we had all sliding glass door wall to beautiful balcony, we kept it shut mostly for noise. We also kept the curtains shut not for privacy but the amount of sunlight that kept the room so warm (entire east wall was glass). I made a point when we checked in to say it was our anniversary, too. Also, when it says "convienently near the 1" it means it's right outside your window. Right. Outside. New mattresses as well because they were too stiff. Loved the down comforter...but could their be some stiffer pillow options in a closet, because the down pillows didn't really work. 4.95 a night for wi-fi.
Front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant.
Paying for unsecured, self parking
location - felt at ease
run down. needs refurbishing. had to change rooms due to smell in first one.
Location, Pool, Cleanliness, food
You have to pay to park at the hotel. Breakfast is not included in the the already high price. Bar would only open from 5pm.
Good WiFi connection
Pillows were way too small Staff was not friendly Restaurant did not have impressive menu and staff tried to pressure me to eat there Felt like I overpaid for the quality of the room and experieence
We liked the friendly staff... so accommodating and willing to help... and the beautiful spacious balcony facing the gorgeous poll setting!
The elevator and parking access...and confusing signage for the ice access...also their mattresses need to be updated!
My daughter, her wedding party and family stayed at the Hilton. The sales department who worked with us in reserving rooms was superb. I was impressed by the breakfast buffet they serve at the restaurant. The supporting staff at the hotel was excellent.
The front desk seemed disorganized.
front desk staff can be more pleasant
It is clean, comfortable, good location. Decent value for the money.
Room a bit on the cramped side. the view of the street wasn't the greatest, but not bad none the less.
The room was large with an excellent bed
No cream for coffee on second day
Friendly staff on arrival
parking and access to rooms
They got us into our room early.
Woke up hearing our neighbors through the suite door screaming at 6:00am The doors should be more sound proof, this was unacceptable. Also, the restaurant on site should be open for lunch too.......travelers coming into town would appreciate a place to relax while waiting for their rooms, have a beverage and a meal.
Affordable resturant on site, great pool and spa. Good parking.
Some of the other guests were really loud.
The location was centrally located near UC Monterey, and Fisherman Wharf. Fresh cookies and infused water in the lobby in the afternoon is a real treat. They also, provide complimentary coffee in the morning. Front desk personnel had knowledge of the surrounding area, a real plus for recommendations for dining and play.
This site does not offer a view for the lovely balcony rooms. The room is a tad small, but sufficient for our purpose. One of our beds in our room was overly firm. The dining area adjacent to the hotel is buffet; I was very disappointed in the food and no choice if you just wanted a beverage and toast.
Love the pool, hot tub, fire pit, and gym. All were clean and appealing. The cleanliness and comfort of this Hotel made us want to stay longer. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.
Clean Location Friendly Bartender Friendly Front Desk
"Security" man acted like a cop. He came to our door and knocked. I think my friend and I were talking too loud at 10AM. I didn't answer the door since I didn't know if it was really security so that was scary. Then when we went to the hot tub the security guy kicked us out at exactly 10pm. This guy must be a former cop. Everything was great except that.
