Politeness of the personnel.
A/C... Too noisy... Need extra in room light sometime
This hotel is very conveniently located in TriBeCa with a subway right outside. Gym is excellent. Free wifi is a bonus. We had a room with 2 Queen beds for 4 of us, was snug but suited us perfectly as we were out exploring all day. There is no room service but you are in TriBeCa so there are loads of fabulous restaurants very close. Staff were polite and helpful. Overall very good.
The hotel was lovely, staff were terrific and the AOA resteraunt was delicious. The rooms and hotel were clean and tidy.
I thought the bed was a little too hard but that's just my preference. My big gripe is more with booking.com that when we booked the room the price changed dramatically. It's something worth keeping an eye on
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was perfectly located right on Canal St Subway and a few minutes stroll to Greenwich St.
I had booked a king room and upon my arrival found they gave me a room with two double beds. I called the front desk and they offered to move me to a king room or take $100 off my stay! Very accomodating!
Great Location Clean room / lobby and friendly staff
Location. Nice room.
300 per night is really expensive at that time.
Good location at the metro station. Basic nice hotel in downtown. AOA restaurant also ok.
The location was great, room a decent size and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We valet parked and the staff was very helpful.
It was away from the madness of midtown, but close to the subway to access all of Manhattan. The facilities were as expected of a Hilton, with very attentive staff. The proximity to the Subway was the deal breaker, with easy access to all lines covering the City. We stayed around Greenwich, TriBeCa and Little Italy so was perfect for us. The resturants downtown are so much better than the touristy mid town offerings.
very good location
One room with two queensize beds was perfect for two. The room would have been too small for four persons. Comfortable, adjustable beds. Clean hotel with friendly staff. Wifi worked fine.
There was not enough space even for two medium sized suitcases. One of us had to unpack and put everything in a drawer. Would have been nice if there had been space for suitcases under the beds.
room was spacious for NYC, hotel was modern and clean, subway nearby, lots of restaurants also nearby
the receptionist did not check the pre-authorisation, and so the amount still remains blocked on my card until now. She was very apologetic but the whole thing could have been avoided.
Room, staff, breakfast and lunch in hotel was super.
We over looked Barry's boot camp and there was a carpet storage depot out the back which was noisy with lorries beeping when reversing and forklift vehicles unloading early in the morning, but probably NY is always noisy. Lighting in rooms was rather dark.
Enjoyed our stay location was perfect .
Very comfortable and good value for New York. Nice Restaurant attached to a Hotel.
Free Wi-Fi for devices and through PCs in business suite, gym facilities, restaurant/bar on site, subway station adjacent to hotel, free hot refreshments in room and reception, helpful reception staff, a range of amenities easily accessible from hotel
Nothing comes to mind!
The fact that I was in New York.
Parking...and the check in was very awkward and inconvenient.
This is the second time we've stayed here and I'd happily stay here again. Good location, friendly staff and comfortable beds.
Decent sized room for NY (two double beds and still plenty of space for all our shopping). The decor is a bit basic and dated but it's clean and comfy. Bathroom was also a decent size and the shower was good. We were only on the third floor but didn't hear traffic noise. We didn't hear any other guests either unless they were loud in the corridor and that's the fault of those ignorant individuals rather than the hotel. Front desk staff are just wonderful. They were all, without exception, friendly and helpful from the minute we stepped in the door. Fabulous value for money - $850 for three nights. Free wifi that actually works, although you do have to log in everyday. Good location - you can walk to Century 21, Soho, Canal Street and the subway stop is right outside. Microwave, Keurig coffee maker and empty fridge in the room. AOA bar next door is good in the evenings for a drink before dinner. The famous Nancy Whiskey Bar across the road has shuffleboard!
The breakfast at AOA next door was revolting and over priced. And the service was bad (different staff from hotel). Don't bother, pop out and find a deli, there are loads of options nearby.
Staff was helpful and friendly.
Elevator seemed in need of repair.
I liked that the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would not reccamend the valet services tho they were pricey in comparison to other places we found after we arrived
My husband and I got very little sleep the 2 nights that we stayed at this hotel. There were renovations going on in the building next door. The garbage rolloffs would be picked up and dropped off at 3 am then another would be delivered right after that, The workers would then come and start slamming things in hte bin at the beginning of the work day. It was horrble.
Staff service; size of room; cleanliness
Very high cost
