Peaceful but close to the airport so conenient for flights the next day

Staff was not familiar with Booking.com procedure for providing receipt but Booking.com coordinated with Manager after I questioned not receiving one at check out.
The hotel offers a free shuttle to Sky Harbour Airport that is shared with the other hotels in the same street. The shuttle was full and wanted to leave people behind, so in addition to the messiness at the Phoenix Airport and indifference from the tsa agents I almost lost my flight. The stay was comfortable/average for an airport hotel but the shuttle is probably the most important service they offer!!!! The vehicle was old, the driver was fighting w the hotel and passengers, there was not enough room for everyone and they could not accommodate a taxi or additional transportation. We were delayed in almost 30 minutes in a 5 minute drive. Very upsetting at 5 in the morning. We also heard from the people in the van that the Holiday Inn in the same street had bed bugs!!! My poorest experience in Arizona was in my last day, before coming back home.
Bed had a sink hole on the right side. Bathroom door wouldn't close as the door wouldn't clear the threshold.

Furniture in the room is tired and worn bably. Bathroom not as clean as I am acustomed too in a hotel. Drab.
