Score from 87 reviews Excellent
This central San Francisco hotel is just 1 mile from the popular sights of Union Square. It features an on-site restaurant and offers spacious rooms with a 32-inch flat-screen TV.

nearby sea and chinese restraunt
much noise in 12 floor
Great attitude that staff had... Helpful and considerate
Should had gotten a room with a view of the bay rather than freeway
The room was to small
The people. The ladies at the front on all shifts were excellent.
I would have liked a shuttle on weekend since the Emery go Round has limited hours.
Quiet location near the interstate. Clean, modern good value relative to the bay area which is in general over priced
Our luggage had to be delivered from the airport. It was left at the front desk but nobody told us so it sat there all night.
Excellent service, clean rooms, reliable internet connection, nice facilities. The hotel has small shop inside and is also located near outlets.
Construction site not far away. very noisy street in front of the hotel, so we asked to change our room to another one, which has window on the other side of the hotel. If you want to get to downtown area of San Francisco, you have to cross the Bay Bridge, which is not convenient because of intense traffic.
The location is quiet It is very convenient to get anything we want, since the hotel was just located in shopping and food center. A few blocks away from downtown.
The bed was not enough for 2 people. Not as it was said when it was booked: queen size
Location Lobby Parking
they withdraw more than total price by mistake after that they refund the extra amount
Just across the Bay Bridge Extremely close to everything and did not have to pay astronomical price of the city hotels.
Hard to say !
elvators didn't work for 2 days certain hours maintenance, electricity cut for one hour in the morning time to shower and leave, I complained I was told manager will call me , no one did ! too expensive for what it is and the services! the smell of construction site was in our room all the time and too much noise at night hard to sleep Bed was not comfortable, we stayed 8 nights they never change the sheets ! will not stay again... will not recomend the place
early check-in, room was updated and clean, staff was super friendly
staff is loud in the morning, slamming doors and talking loud outside my door at 8 in the morning.
The hotel was close to all major highways and on a road tha goes down to a lovely peninsula. They also offer a shuttle to get you to things that are near by. It's nice to have a small commissary right inside the hotel. All staff we encountered were very pleasant and having a mini fridge and free WiFi made it even better.
The cost for parking, $15 a day. The cost for the breakfast buffet, I would have liked to have ordered from a menu rather than pay $15. I'm not a big breakfast eater, but do like to have a little something. There wasn't a vent in the bathroom.
The location is great ask for a view of the bay or hills and they'll do their best to accommodate . You're right in the middle of the three major cities that make up the bay area with easy access ( via driving on the 880 80 580 freeways ) to Berkeley Oakland and San Francisco . There is plenty to do in and around the hotel . I liked it all ! The price was very good too !
The Bart station is not even close to the property although the courtesy shuttle will pretty much take you anywhere . Theres not much we didn't like about the place
We appreciated the responsiveness of the manager when we had a problem requiring additional bedding during the night.
There was only one washer and dryer I could find, which was being used when I needed it, and was not emptied when its cycle was completed.
The hotel is very nice and clean, fast wifi, friendly staff, very good service! the only thing is just this hotel is a bit far away from all the attraction places in SF, but you should knew it when you book the hotel~
Jeremy was extremely helpful!!!
The fact that as a Hilton honors member I tried to add an additional night to my stay at the same rate I booked my reservation for and was denied. I had to find other lodging when I preferred staying at the Hilton.
Was going to charge $15 for parking
My husband forgot his IPad in our room and did not remember until a few hours later after we checked out. He got his IPad back after he called Hotel's housekeeping. They are honest people.
Jeremy one of the front desk worker was awesome.
The price and extra tax expenses put the alleged good deal over the top
peaceful, the freeway traffic wasn't that bad if you are used to "urban" living.
Just across the street from a walking path along the bay and within walking distance to a nice outdoor mall with a nice mix of fairly upscale to moderate shops. Just a few minutes by car up the frontage road along the bay--no traffic--to the Berkeley Marina where my meeting was. Nice staff, Lovely afternoon refreshments in the lobby daily. Clean. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant food. Quite a good deal for the money although I was in one of those tiny corner rooms for having booked at partial price, I am sure.
Parking is $15/day and there are no options on that if you have a car. The Garden Inn has no "garden" so to speak. The outside space is very limited and the jacuzzi is in a not very appealing concrete fenced area.
Good location if you need to visit Berkeley, easy to access with car.
You need a car. Hotel is not situated close to public transport. Not a lot of nice restaurants on walking distance from the hotel.
I love the staff and Jennifer at the breakfast area was wonderful .
The bed need to be change in room 1113 cause when I sleep on it ...there was that big hole and I was very uncomfortable . There's a black old women fixing the food for breakfast .....she was very rude the way she respond to people.
