Friendly staff Clean hotel Conveniently located
The parking lot is not large enough. The air conditioning was noisy Unlike the Hampton Inn (that shares the parking lot), breakfast is not included. From a truth in pricing perspective that is not transparent.
We loved the breakfast set up - made to order omelette was good. The wonderful lady working the concierge desk. She was very helpful - had great dinner suggestions for down on the river and also sold us trolley tour tickets. The trolley tour was excellent. She provided a map of the historic district with landmarks spelled out. With our smart phones and Google map app, we never got lost. The room was spacious.
I complained to the front desk about the mattress - I felt like I was sleeping in a hole and had to climb out every time I tried to turn over. The front desk rep asked me how I had my bed set (??). I did not know that you could adjust the softness and firmness. A small sign explaining the comfort-bed system would have been helpful. Instead, I had a miserable night sleeping on the softest setting. Not a good way to start a day of touring. Stingy with the linens - could have used an extra bath towel for my hair. We only had two.
Staff was genuinely friendly. Room was clean and well designed for three people. Kuering coffee maker in the room was a nice touch!
Sleeper sofa mattress had some bumps but the maintenance staff was quick to respond to a request to make it more comfortable because there was no replacement sofa bed available.
The decor, cooking staff..My kids really liked Adam, he was very nice...
Greetings Team Care, I just got off the phone with one of your unprofessional accountant by the name of Ms. Newsmen. I called to explain to the female who answer the phone at the concierge desk at 6:00pm on 12/27/2013. The horrible experience me and my family had during our stay, and to request to have the charge of 90.28 reversed from our capital credit card, since the charges of 190.56 were credited to our Barclay credit card. From the start on 12/24/2013 @ 10:10pm was the beginning of a horrible experience. Keep in mind, I have booked through 3rd parties for all our hotels reservation for 12 years, and I have not had one bad experience until that night on that day. Ty was the check-in manager on site during our checking time, and we had booked 1 bedroom king suite, and 1 bedroom suite, two queen beds, with sofa; per the website as usually. I requested for our 2 rooms to be on the 5/6 floor. Our rooms was on the 2nd floor, where it was a party going on, I asked did someone see our request for our rooms to be on the 5/6 floor. He said, hmm let see what I can do, and he located one room on the 5th floor, but nothing to accommodate our request. Per the front desk your establishment it's a non-smoking environment, we did not understand why our room rant with cigarette smoke.. We don't smoke or drink, so therefore it was pleased to hear, but after entering the king bedroom suite 203 we smelled the untruth of that statement. Wait it gets better, once we proceeded to the other room 215 across the hall from the party room. We open the door and it's a king bedroom suite too.. I am like really, wow.. Okay, so I went back downstairs after spending an hour of our time already trying to get things situated.
Bed could have been more comfortable.
Hotel staff was nice. Pool was heated. Room was clean and had easy access.
Blackout curtains were stationary and wasn't able to close them. Hated the pillows. Had business meetings going on in hotel and we had hard time finding parking. Also the pool was right out side of meeting room so we felt very uncomfortable going to the pool.
Pictures of the Jacuzzi tubs were't clean enough. The tub was smaller than I expected.
