We asked for a room in a high floor and ended up with a room on the second floor. I asked to change and we were moved to the third floor (no way that we could have a room on the last floor) but the person who did that was not pleasant at all. Professional, one could say, at best.
Then, the room is ok but the bed was too soft; the window is too small for its frame (there is a gap between the window and the frame and we had to put paper tissues to block air and noise -- you can guess that it didn't work well); the room is cold; and, above all, the noise ... you hear people from the left and from the right (you hear people talking, coughing, peeing, taking their shower, TV of course, everything); you hear people from the hall and from the room across the hall. All this is usual in hotels but in this one, it's worse than in most places. And, you even hear people from the room above through the ... air vent! That's awesome, hearing people talking through the air vent!
If all Hilton Garden Inn are built like that ... I will not check, so it was my last time in one of this hotels. I wish I could have put 0. I wonder how booking can recommend such an hotel.
I will probably check other websites rather than this one.
the room is ok; the restaurant is ok and the food is nice and not dear; and the only good thing was the breakfast the one of the staff offered us after we told him that we had a terrible stay. He was nice and we appreciate that.
