I had reservations about making a reservation with hgv because I had read reviews that this was time-share. And true enough, right after check- in (front office check-in staff were friendly and speedy), I was told to step aside to another counter where another gentleman started with friendly questions and offered a bunch of complimentary restaurant vouchers etc (which I never used anyway) and then tried to sell the time- share. He wasn't overly pushy but I had to turn him down twice. So try and skip that counter if you have a chance. Apart from that, our experience at the hotel was just fine. It's located on the far north end of the strip. There is construction going on right across the hotel but a CVS right beside the hotel too, which makes it incredibly convenient to get necessities and snacks. So it's a lot more quiet since you're not smack in the middle of all the activity. I loved the room we had picked because it came with a full-service kitchen which was even well-equipped with cooking utensils, serving plates, cutlery and everything you need to cook. So we made ourselves a little breakfast in the mornings over the stove and made use of the handy oven and dishwasher too. I even did a small load of laundry since the room came equipped with a washer and dryer! The rooms were clean and housekeeping was efficient and friendly too. Overall, a very good stay. I would not hesitate to recommend HGV except for the fact that it's just a little inconveniently located on the far end. A courtesy shuttle would have been great for us tourists who don't drive into Vegas. Although the most economical way to get around and to the heart of the strip was to hop on a bus (The Deuce) outside the hotel, a courtesy shuttle to the main strip would have been much appreciated since the Deuce was always packed. Even a courtesy airport shuttle would have been great.

It was super clean. Didn't smell of smoke at all. Bed and rooms were clean. Facilities were excellent too. Staff were extremely friendly as well. This hotel is good if you have your own car, because you want to stay in a clean hotel and then drive to the main strip later. Location. It takes an hour to walk to main part of the strip and no shuttles from hotel to take you there for free. Don't stay here if you don't like to walk or don't have a car.

There should be a decent breakfast room. Market place is more like a shop or a sort of coffee place. The quality of the breakfast is really poor, in variety as well as taste and presentation. It does not match the standard of the hotel.

Excellent hotel. I got a room with kitchen that w as perfect for me and my kids. It's very good to have a washer machine in your room for free. Room size was perfect. This hotel has no casino!! The hotel is placed in the north part of las Vegas boulevard, a quite far from the strip, but if you are with very young kids, its perfect, otherwise you have to walk a while to see the attractions.

It certainly is a beautiful hotel and near the strip without the gambling sounds normally found in other locations. We had a few glitches but were somewhat addressed and I would probably stay there again paying particular attention to more details when booking. Would have enjoyed having a restaurant on the premises.

Reasonably priced suites on The Strip, not far from main Las Vegas attractions. Good views from higher floors. Nice pool area where you can cool down during hot lv afternoons. There's no casino in the hotel, which allows you to use its facilities without wading through hordes of feverish gamblers (check Ceasar's or Bellagio during busy weekend to see how bad it can be). Temporarily the location is surrounded by 2 costruction sets (1 new hotel almost ready, and 1 started). The Marketplace grocery on the ground level is very expensive, but there's cvs market just around the corner.
