Location, comfort Didn't like that they put a large hold on my credit card for no reason, and denied it even though my bank proved it, still actually waiting for the hold to be released, my bank will cancel it in 7 days.

A wonderful job of maintaining the grounds in the Hawaiian beautiful style one would hope for. I loved the fire works show on the Friday Night and being able to enjoy outdoor dining overlooking the beach. Pools are wonderful. Rooms were very nice. I am very happy we stayed there and would do so again. Good food options were limited. There were several nice restaurants however not enough moderately priced ones that were decent. The Tropics Restaurant was beautifully located overlooking the beach.

Very close to the beach, fun water slides, close to downtown Waikiki, we were able to book most of our extra curricular activities through someone at the hotel. Pools close too early, not the greatest food at some of the resort restaurants (CJ's was inedible) I also wish we were able to find more souvenirs/gifts that were locally made ie: not made in china.

Everything, from check in, to using the post office on the property, to the proximaty to nice shopping areas and restaurants, just a few blocks away from the resort. If anything, it's that the self parking is so far away from the towers. That we had less than 24 hours to enjoy the property.

The location and facilities were fantastic catering for all ages/preferences. We were provided a complimentary room for shower etc before leaving for the airport on night of checkout which was hugely appreciated. Don't believe the Alii tower was worth the extra expense. We are tea drinkers and there was no kettle to boil water - we tried to utilise the coffee maker but it didn't come to the boil and tasted foul. The only request we made the entire trip was for a kettle but were told they were not provided. Have travelled most of the world (incl of Mariott hotel Waikiki last year) and always been provided a kettle on request. The staff in the main beach side restaurant and towel counters were nowhere near as pleasant as every other place we went to in Waikiki.

The beach and poolside. Everything you need is at the village Quality of poolside food and the sushi at one of the restaurants was terrible. Very crowded at times. Kids at all the pools. People holding spots at the pools and either not showing up or showing up many hours later. We were there and could'nt even get a chair by the water. People would come to enjoy and have to leave because of the saved chairs. This system isn't working.

Resort had many different dining options and staff were very helpful and beach was lovely Resort fee is absolutely ridiculous - advertise the price you want to charge per night and scrap the fee. Feels like a rip off and if people perceive it is value and want to book and pay they will

This was not our first time staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village. We used to stay there quite regularly several years ago. We did like the fresh new look that they have given the rooms, and the view from ours was nice. When we stayed there several years ago, the Hilton had an excellent, 24hour, room service menu. This is what a person expects from a first class resort. Now, they offer limited delivery service from something called "Fresh Connections". &Quot;Fresh Connections" offered an extremely limited menu of items, which you could have delivered to your room. This was for breakfast, and for dinner only! If you wished to eat lunch, you called your order in, then you had to walk across the resort to pick it up! The breakfast options were decent, but nothing to write home about, I've had better tasting cinnamon rolls from one of those Pillsbury pop-open tubes. As for the fruit cup, it was one of those little sealed cups of canned fruit cocktail, you know, the kind you buy to put in your child's lunchbox. Hardly what you would expect to receive in a fresh tropical fruit paradise like Hawaii, or from something called "FRESH Connections"! The dinner menu choices were exactly the same as the lunch ones, with the exception of three daily specials. These daily specials apparently came from one of the restaurants at the resort. The specials varied slightly from day to day, and usually consisted of a pork dish, a chicken dish, and a beef dish. None of the fresh fish or seafood offerings for which Hawaii is famous. If the three daily specials weren't to your liking then you options were basically pre-made cold sandwiches or salads, hot panini sandwiches (apparently one of the pre-made cold sandwiches heated in a panini press), or nachos of the convenience store/gas station variety. The food came packaged like convenience store/gas station food too, in plastic snap closed containers with plastic silverware, and paper napkins. Certainly not what we expect from a resort hotel, and not what we expect for the price we paid to stay there!

the staff is friendly... the pillows...I was upgraded to the alia tower which I appreciated, since I was traveling by myself...However, I requested an ocean view and king bed...I got a partial view and two double beds...It is a great place for families....not for single people like myself....

Big lagoon(most hotels pools in Honolulu are very small) and clean less crowded beach. Everything available within walking distance. The lobby!!!!! It takes so much time to check-in, check-out! They need more people to handle the amount of people they are booking. Staff is also very unhelpful and makes so much mistakes like overcharging, can't find reservation etc...like they don't want to work. Whichever tower you're staying going from lobby to tower with all the luggage is a hassle.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was lovely, relaxing but still plenty to do. Beachy resort atmosphere yet still right in the middle of everything. We would prefer to have free wifi in our room. Essential these days.
