Room was very unique We paid for an ocean view and that view was about the size of a postage stamp from a window behind the TV. Very disappointed

The size of room and view $25.Oo fee each day of our stay. I did not think that we got $25.oo worth of serives each day of our stay. But had to pay this fee anyway. I think a person should have the choice to opt out if you do not want some of the services for that fee.

We were upgraded to Ali'i Tower, my favourite, so worth the long check-in wait. It was Memorial Day weekend so very busy all over the resort. Short walk to Ala Moana or other direction to Waikiki for restaurants. Crowds everywhere - due to holiday weekend.

Very comfortable beds and beautiful pools. Paying a $25 resort fee was bad enough but when it doesn't cover wifi in the room, it bordered on ridiculous. In room wifi was an extra $15 a day.

Location, comfort Didn't like that they put a large hold on my credit card for no reason, and denied it even though my bank proved it, still actually waiting for the hold to be released, my bank will cancel it in 7 days.

The Hilton Hawaii is a very grand and posh hotel. So obviously expensive. Facilities are very good. 8 swimming pools. Eateries. Shopping mall. Grocery etc. easily available. Beach is poor and stony. You can stay in the hotel and enjoy. Staff is helpful but because they have over 3,000 rooms, there is a huge crowd during check-in and check-out which can lead to long lines. But the staff is helpful and courteous. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Ocean view rooms are the best especially the views from the higher floors. Kids really enjoy the grounds, the pools and the lagoons. Due to rush, check out also takes time so plan accordingly. Crowded. Costly.

A wonderful job of maintaining the grounds in the Hawaiian beautiful style one would hope for. I loved the fire works show on the Friday Night and being able to enjoy outdoor dining overlooking the beach. Pools are wonderful. Rooms were very nice. I am very happy we stayed there and would do so again. Good food options were limited. There were several nice restaurants however not enough moderately priced ones that were decent. The Tropics Restaurant was beautifully located overlooking the beach.

Very close to the beach, fun water slides, close to downtown Waikiki, we were able to book most of our extra curricular activities through someone at the hotel. Pools close too early, not the greatest food at some of the resort restaurants (CJ's was inedible) I also wish we were able to find more souvenirs/gifts that were locally made ie: not made in china.

Everything, from check in, to using the post office on the property, to the proximaty to nice shopping areas and restaurants, just a few blocks away from the resort. If anything, it's that the self parking is so far away from the towers. That we had less than 24 hours to enjoy the property.

The location and facilities were fantastic catering for all ages/preferences. We were provided a complimentary room for shower etc before leaving for the airport on night of checkout which was hugely appreciated. Don't believe the Alii tower was worth the extra expense. We are tea drinkers and there was no kettle to boil water - we tried to utilise the coffee maker but it didn't come to the boil and tasted foul. The only request we made the entire trip was for a kettle but were told they were not provided. Have travelled most of the world (incl of Mariott hotel Waikiki last year) and always been provided a kettle on request. The staff in the main beach side restaurant and towel counters were nowhere near as pleasant as every other place we went to in Waikiki.

The beach and poolside. Everything you need is at the village Quality of poolside food and the sushi at one of the restaurants was terrible. Very crowded at times. Kids at all the pools. People holding spots at the pools and either not showing up or showing up many hours later. We were there and could'nt even get a chair by the water. People would come to enjoy and have to leave because of the saved chairs. This system isn't working.
