the variety of activities
live music until 11pm that kept us and our small child awake (i was running a marathon and had to be up by 3am)
1. no free shuttle bus to airport 2. parking charge money
The pools were nice and the live music
- they upgraded our room to an ocean suite and we were really excited until we found out that there was massive constructions going on right across from us. I feel like they almost did it on purpose because no one else wanted that room... - the cost of parking was excessive - you have to pay facility fees but they don't include use of the business centre (where you have to pay to use the computer as well as pay separately to use the printer) and the front desk will make you pay even to print off a single page. - things went missing from our room (although the staff were helpful in this instance, we weren't able to get the missing belongings back). - the staff were okay, although I have dealt with much friendlier staff at more cost effective resorts/ hotels. It was a nice trip to Hawaii and I had a blast. The accommodation, overall, was fair but if I were to go back I would not be staying there again.
Worst. If I ask a question, they answer me "not that I know" or "we can not, Sorry!" . Staffs are really annoying they look tired also very unkind. Facilities are nothing in the room even hot pot. Oh my god I never wanna stay this hotel in hawaii. Also they just use my credit card for the check out before I go out. And just gave me the bill under the door in my room. It is really rude. They ruined my honeymoon.
Endless possibilities to shop and eat within the "village". Hotel is just a short walk away from high end shopping streets and mall. Breathtaking view from Rainbow-Tower (Room Oceanfront). Great place to snorkel on artificial reef. Best breakfast buffet imaginable and only for USD 27,00 with oceanview. Everybody very friendly.
no sunshades and practically no place to hide from the sun in pool area (apart from that the pool area is beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained). Sunshades and beachbeds on the beach were expensive.
Facilities and location are first class and impeccably maintained. Staff at reception, cleaning and grounds staff first class, with a real pride shown in the work.
Lack of real hawaiian food experience. $30 resort charge and $27 parking per day are slightly excessive. Service sometimes is too over the top, ensuring tip is paid, rather than delivering a good service experience.
Location, room, nice village
Room service level is definitely below average
Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lots of activities for the children and family.
Construction was going on, which made a lot of noise. But nothing anyone can really do.
very clean everyone courteous very helpfull
90 min promotion should be less pressure "your are on vacation"information was great salesman was fine, but at the end you should allow time to make decisions
Location; early check in and the lagoon was great. Room was lovely with very comfortable beds.
Having to wait for buffet breakfast
It's a great location. We stayed in the Ali'i tower and it's great, had our own pool and gym. Felt very welcome and staff were helpful. Walking distance to the shops.
We had 2 double beds in our room and it felt as if we were sleeping on a single as the beds were too small. Also the bed was not comfortable at all. House keeping didn't always replace all shower gels, shampoo and other bits. It seemed as if one particular housekeeper just took the tip we left them and just made the beds. Not to mention lack of towels. We only had 3 towels for 3 people. Usually you get at least 2 towels per person.
Location is excellent, hotel facilities is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. This hotel is ideal people with kids.
Room service Hotel view
Fridge in the toilet and the couch was falling apart so horrible
Stayed here with our daughter and her young family because of the facilities for young children so we could go off shopping! Location, views, access to both beach and pools.
Having waited for over an hour to get a table for breakfast only to find that about 30 tables were not being used. Not ok especially when trying to contain two young children who were ravenous. Extraordinary additional costs for use of the Hilton's lagoon equipment.
the closeness to the beach the quiteness of being that end and the village atmosphere
the slightly more expensive eateries
staff super friendly great choice of restaurants (great burgers and live entertainment at Tropics Bar n Grill) lots of facilities beach is amazing
activities too expensive
Too expensive for what it is. I rather stay somewhere else where doesn't charge US30 dollars per day for resort fee
No customer service You pay resort fee & not get anything for it, you have to pay for everything even if you want a wine glass & you have to pick it up yourself Would not recommend
Huge luxurious property with a lot to do. No need to leave.
Noisy. Live band going on outside while we were trying to sleep.
I like its buy the beach
Everything was all good
variety of pool and restaurant facilities
daily charge for items never used, dvd, internet, etc
Over the top cost for every little thing
There was not enough places for smoking area. There only one place between two building with no cover to protect from the rain. People still make comment about the smoke from the cigarettes. I think you should make a better smoking area more open area.
The ABC store on site was very helpful.
The resort fee. For $200+ a night, I'd expect wifi.
Friday night fireworks and hula party were fun.
