Location to Beach, excellent facilities
Room noise excessive, hallway traffic and doors slamming at 5am, lobby and resort very noisy
The location was great. Good restaurants nearby. Great walking on beach. Beautiful!! Convenient mini supermarket within hotel so you could easily pick up wine or food and eat on the balcony of your room.
I don't think a hotel guest should have to pay for a lounge chair on the beach!!!
close to beach.
When we arrived, we were not allowed to stop my car in front of the lobby and were forced to drive to the parking lot and bring our luggage long way to lobby. The staffs are never helpful during our stay. The rainbow builiding were too old and we found ants in the room! The bathe tap is broken. It is really crowded in the weekend.
Room 3105 Rainbow Tower - this particular room did not disappoint us. It has a fabulous view of Dismond Head and Waikiki Beach. Thanks to kind assistance from Jean and Apple? the supervisor at the check-in counter. The mini-fridge though has unstable leg when you open it.
Very disappointed to rude service. A waiter (mature) in the bar below Rainbow Tower, which is close to the restaurant where breakfast is served, told us to vacate the chairs we were seating on because we did not order a drink or beer. We just had our breakfast! We were there for s few seconds as we took photos. Such rudeness spoiled our stay. This grumpy looking waiter is a misfit to be in hotel business. As guests, we deserved courtesy as we paid daily resort fees.
Noise caused by construction work nearby.
Great location, good staff, and lovely rooms.
No hot water to our room.
This is a beautiful hotel. Very large and as the name suggests it is a village which means it contains various towers for accommodation, restaurants, bars, shops, private beach and many pools. It is a short bus ride to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but you needn't leave the village as everything is there. In the opposite direction, and about a 10 min walk, is the main shopping centre, Ala Moana. We were in the Tapa Tower with ocean view. The room is large and we had the view of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. There are taxis and transport available at the door. So if you aren't interested in going into Waikiki you could spend your whole time here.
Unfortunately, our beds weren't comfortable. We paid less than quarter of the price for our hotel in Vegas and the beds were like clouds! It's a bit far from Waikiki so it is difficult if you want to go to other restaurants/beaches/shops but you can catch a bus for $2.20.
Hilton is way to busy .cant get a seat near pool .have to be very early. Food very expensive. We have be to this hotel twice. Do not like to be ask all the time about seeing the time share every time we booked a tour
We all came back here .just love the stop.we stay in the aill tower very nice and great to have a pool up there.
The accomodation ok ,near beach, loved the fireworks
It was just 2 busy,to many people in one spot. you were not a person...you were a room no.had to wait for breakfast given a call monitor when they were ready for you.. very impersonal and expensive ..one other thing..shop near the main pool selling clothes and ladies items tried to sell us a woman's necklace made out of ivory . terrible. ..walked out giving a mouth full...should not be allowed at a Hilton Hotel. ..
We had the best time. The staff, grounds, options were all A+.
The pools were fairly cold. The only pool that was comfortable was the one with the water slides.
The room was very clean. Room service was not annoying. They cleaned the room daily at convenient to the guest time. There was very well developed and beautiful yard in the hotel complex. The total atmosphere was very pleasant.
The bed did not have a cover. Fridge did not work properly – the contents stayed warm and did not cool down. There was a coffee maker, but the room service did not add new coffee packs; I used initial packs in a couple of days and stayed without coffee for a rest of being in the hotel. The assigned in the website price of the room was increased on 30 percent because of different taxes.
The courteous friendly and helpful staff make this a great place to vacation. We loved the location.
I loved everything here. We were in the Rainbow tower & had an awesome view along the beach to Diamond Head.
The only thing would be it's just that luttle bit further out to walk. It is walkable & not a major but when you have stayed at the others on the beach it is a bit far for dropping bags off & going again. Unfortunate but otherwise a beautiful place to stay
good location and view with shopping facilities
My husband and I were just on an overnight getaway. We arrived on a Sunday but I had accidentally made our reservation for the previous Friday :/ oops. Fortunately, the front desk service guy was AH-mazing! Jock, name of the front desk personnel who was helping us, was extremely curtious and very accommodating. He immediately eased my nerves. Our beautiful room (and unbelievable bathroom ) on the top floor of the Ali'I tower, had a private concierge and magnificent ocean and city views. The hotel grounds were quite expansive and elegantly manicured. One of the pools that the Hilton Hawaiian Village offers was right outside of our tower. Overall our stay here was excellent. Only wish we stayed longer.
The pool was REALLY cold.
Hilton Honors did not honor the stay and give me my miles reward.
Daily fee, expensive and ridiculous
The staff that check us in was nice and helpful
I'm just thankful
Location was great and the grounds beautiful.
The old pool towels were just awful when your paying top dollar you don't rcpect threadbare cheap and nasty.
Lovely grounds with hotel right on beach
The balcony of our room 845 Tapa Wing was directly over a building site where work began at 0700 and finished late afternoon
Really enjoyed the Luau.
