Location is ok but not perfect. Breakfast is also ok when American style is considered. Rooms are gourgeous.
Hotel staff around this area are unwelcoming. They gave no small Smile while They do check in process which is unbelievable. Hotel is somewhat out dated and needs to be renovated immediately.
location, hotel facilities and service
great hotel for your money, spacious rooms!
The hotel was having an event that evening and there were no parking spaces available. Valet crew didn't let us park our car up front just to check in because of the amount of traffic going through so I had to circle the block several time while my husband unloaded our things and took them up to the room. It was a little inconvenient considering it was rainy and cold out.
Staff was great and friendly, the place was beautiful and very clean, the breakfast was amazing!
Rooms are quiet, clean, and comfortable.
Remodelled downstairs area. The restaurant is now closer to the bar, and about 1/3 the size it used to be. Since there are always conferences going on including the one you would be attending, you have a great shot of not being able to have that breakfast meeting there, so plan to go elsewhere or get there as early as possible.
-Bed comfort and cleanliness -Spacious room
-Noisey AC -Room door is not sound proof -No room refrigerator -Old bathroom finshings and hardware -Poor breakfast selection options -Hotel room finishings are those used in sixties/seventies of the last century
no wi fi and you have to go down to get connected. should be free
Pool area is nice (for a Houston hotel)
Like most hotels in Houston level of comfort in rooms is basic and outdated.
upon my arrival i found out that my reservations were lost somewhere in cyber space the manger was more than helpful. he apologized and explained that they where fully booked and would i mind staying at another hotel of theirs it was only a couple of blocks down so it worked out great .he handled the problem most professionally and made it more than right for my stay i will with them again on my next trip
that i didnt get to stay where we had originally booked
Location Executive Lounge Pool Gym
The a/c system was way too loud.
Receptionist dont know what is she doing
Shuttle to the Galeria Breakfast buffet Pool was perfect temp and clean Beds were comfortable with good linens.
I think $17 charge for parking is too much to charge guests of the hotel.
The comfort of the furnishings and cleanliness was superb. Used room service and it was excellent. Enjoyed the gym and pool. Great place to relax and recharge your batteries.
Price of valet parking
The location environment and the very hospitable staff
The food menu not international enough
Everything was awesome since our arrival the valet was very attentive , in our check in the host was very friendly, till our departure all staff were very polite and attentive. High level!!
there are not cookies in courtesy there are not bottles of water in the room
Location is excellent. Walking distance to galleria and various shops. Easy access to highways.
The check in process was a bit irritating. Wasn't informed of the $50 incidental charges per day and due to using a debit card was charged an additional $150 at time of check in. Turned out to be a hassle because we had to use two different cards and incidentals ended up being charged the first night in addition to the $150 already being paid. But the manager was very helpful and provided us a free dinner due to the discrepancy. Would stay there again, just wouldn't use my debit card!
Staff were excellent. Hotel suite was very nice. Tower lounge was very good
was very disapointed in your new resturant.....:(
Location perfect, room size and comfort
The room deco was a little olddated but no matters it was great
Nice rooms, very comfortable and close to shopping mall
View was perfect
Fitness center very poor
The positive part of this stay were the extra security.... They were very friendly. The pool is open at night, made our stay somewhat better. The size of the room was also a plus.
The lady in the front had no sense of customer service skills. She also incorrectly placed a hold on my credit card, causing a financial burden on our budgeted trip. After making the mistake she then proceeded to "educate" me about how holds work in a condescending manner... I work for a bank. The last thing I need is someone telling me "just make sure you don't go over your limit," especially right after causing a strain on my family's finances. As if this wasn't already a terrible way to start the trip when we arrived to our room we found that the value of this hotel was ridiculously overpriced. Upon inspection of our beds, we found what appeared to be dry blood stains on the bed, dead bugs on the pillows and a smell of damp-rank carpet. The ceiling had water stains, and there was marks on the wall from where it had been worked on recently. The electronics like the hair dryer, the telephones (2 in our room) and the iron were old antiquated models, and made the overall feel of our stay as cheap as the service we initially received. There was also no water sold on site, and only one vending machine that could not properly dispense the over-priced sodas it sold. The site failed to mention the additional money required, there is an additional $50 hold amount per night, my stay was supposed to have been $256.17, and the hold placed on my account was a ridiculous $356.17, the only notification given was a sign at the lobby of the fiasco that is the Hilton Post Oak mentioning this additional hold amount. Overall I would rate this hotel a 2 out of 10, and solely for the friendly security staff, and the location. The over all feel is shady and dilapidated, definitely not a value for your money, and my family and I will NEVER stay at a Hilton hotel again.
