I enjoyed my stay, everyone on staff was very nice and helpful, the restaurant and lounge area are beautiful and comfortable. The beds are also very comfortable.
The TV in my room didn't work. There was sound, but no picture. Also there was not an ice bucket or container for me to get ice.
Bed was extremely comfortable and clean
The cost was a little to pricey.
immaculate room. easy scheduling. early check in
Shuttle to the airport. Room and bed
T HE FRONT DOOR WAS BROKE, HARD TO GET AND OUT.
Location and shuttle
No bath towels in our room Daughter's room had only tepid water
Renovated room was good
Renovations occurring without notice - over $220 p/n. no pool. Jack hammers in the lobby - Food less than average. Construction staff pulling breakfast room apart as I finished my meal. lifts not working. Construction banging early in the morning. Very poor experience.
Checking in and out was easy and quick. The staff was nice and the rooms were nice. The view of the airport was great to see and the convenience of getting there.
The pool was closed for renovation! We had spent the last two nights in Holiday Inn's and were too busy to access their pools and were excited to use this one after a long day of traveling but also didn't want to go to another hotel to swim as it was offered. Also, didn't care for the detour through the convention of people with all our baggage. Felt awkward.
A well-located (for MCI) and well-maintained hotel. Fine room with excellent bed assured a good night's sleep. Breakfast and evening meal were both quite enjoyable.
Staff in the restaurant and on the corridors were obliging but attitudes at the front desk (reception) were less so. It is odd for a hotel in this price range that bottled water was not supplied on a complimentary basis in the rooms - although provided in a somewhat offhand manner if requested at the reception.
clean comfortable rooms and they are updating the facilities putting in new carpet and beds.
Glad to see renovations being done but noisy and busy traffic in the elevators. The restaurant breakfast was expensive.
Staff were very helpful with questions regarding Kansas City area and apologized for conditions due to construction.
No refrigerator in room and to get ice you had to go to another floor. A large wedding was booked and several of that party had rooms near us and they were very loud. Construction was in progress and lots of dust and noise. Would have been nice to have a shuttle between hotel and Union Station or the Hilton down town.
Great location, the hotel was fine. Some construction in the lobby.
Food in the restaurant was very mediocre.
I liked the fact that the hotel was out of the city limits, was easy to get to and was not nervus about the safty of my car. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. Even though it was near the airport n highway the room was quiet.
The room was very cold and there was no way of adjusting it from, my view was of a parking lot with dumpsters in it, internet service was of poor quality, very few selections of television stations (unless you enjoyed news or sports), for the price one would think that atleast one comp breakfast would be offered, small selection on the food menu, and long travel if guest chooses to dine out.
That it had a pool, until I saw what condition it was in.
The pool was badly maintained , the beds were way to soft along with the pillows, the bathroom had no vent nor a heat lite, the carpet by the window was soaking wet. The window might be leaking. I have gotten more stuff in a room at a best western or a motel 8 for less money.
It was the cheapest thing we could find for the location we wanted.
The massive renovations going on constantly. Now I know why we got a deal.
It was really run down. They are upgrading but the pool area was poorly maintained as was the floor we were on
Proximity to airport. Prompt shuttle service. Keeping car at hotel until return.
The room ventilation seemed inadequate. It took a long time for the room to reach a comfortable temperature. I was not impressed with the mattress, pillows, or linens.
The location & serenity.
The work out facilities were definitely better than you see in most hotels. The room service food was very good and the staff all the way around was excellent. Friendly, helpful, courteous and efficient
No complaints on my staff, wish I could have stayed a couple more days.
Accommodations clean and well kept.
I left a day early and didn't receive a refund on my last day still charged to my bill. Parking lot needs resurfacing. More items offered in restaurant.
I liked the friendly staff. How big the hotel was, we did exploring.
No fridge or microwave. Even best western has those ammeneties.
