- good location
- the hotel is older than it appears on the pictures
We liked a view of our room. A bed was very comfortable.
A little bit expensive. Wi-fi wasn't free. There wasn't a breakfast.
Staff, and facilities
Clean, well-kept rooms Nice view on the port
The service at this hotel was terrible: 1) Due to a flight delay I arrived one day later. In order for the hotel to hold my room (not even asking for a refund!) I called them on the night of my planned arrival. The "reservation specialist" would not help me "because I had booked the room via booking.com". She could not assure me that they would hold my reservation. On the bright side, once I called booking.com I received excellent help. 2) I visited this hotel because of a conference. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the conference rate (USD 199), but ended up paying much more for my room. Upon arrival I learned that conference participants received complimentary wifi. I called guest services but was told that this was only offered to guests that had booked with the special rate! I am stunned: Not only do they charge me more for the room, I am not even given free Internet, although I am a conference participant. If you are looking for good service: Do not choose this hotel! In addition, the hotel is relatively run down and would deserve a major renovation, given the prices they charge for the rooms. Also, the location is not the best; I would not go for a walk by myself in this neighborhood.
Pretty decent hotel - very good for the cost/benefit point of view...
- We waited more than 50 min for a crib we asked WHEN placing a reservation and during check-in - Though they say it has been renewed you can barely notice it. Looks like you're back to "Miami Vice" times...
Self-park was $25, while valet was $28, not much of a price discrepancy for two very different services
Bay view Service Clean
Dated facilities and decor.
The scenery from the 17th floor was beautiful!
You couldn't adjust the temp in the room . everything was based upon request and charge I felt like it should have been more for the price of the room.
Not wifi in the room Very expency the parking lot The swimming pool look not clean
We stayed three days and went for a cruise. The hotel let us store our luggage on the day we returned from our cruise. We were able to spend the day shopping.
Wifi access is expensive and doesn't work very well. If I'm going to pay for internet access (which most hotels offer for free anyway), I want the connection to be very good. And this definitely wasn't. Also, the hotel looks like it could be renovated a little.'feels a a little rundown.
Expensive wifi with poor speed
I liked that it was really close to the port of Miami...being that we were going on a cruise. It is also walking distance from the stadium, so catch a game while in town
Other than "Bay Side" you had to drive to do anything fun - such as Miami beach. Everything is a couple/few miles away...so rent a car, because taxis will get expensive
The location of this hotel is fine - you can drive or take a bus to Miami Beach in about 5 minutes. The staff and lobby are excellent, as is the pool. My room was spacious, clean, modern enough. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was fine.
The air conditioning in my room was extremely loud. The unit is built into the ceiling near the door and is huge - it literally sounds like a electrical generator when it's running. You can turn it off of course, but if it's hot outside your room will be hot. Even with it off, you can clearly hear the units in other rooms rumbling. Seriously needs to be addressed if this hotel wants to be "upper class".
love the location comfort and the BF excellent
A bit musty in the room. Strong perfume smell throughout the entire hotel.
Very spacious rooms, really comfortable beds, great service, room view to the bay.
Internet with extra charges in the rooms.
All staff we encountered were outstanding with accomodating us for showing up early.
Would be nice to have a shuttle to the airport.
The location was great for sightseeing and nightlife.
EVERYTHING.SMART MOVE FOR FUTURE CRUISE GUESTS.STAY THE NGT BEFORE AND BE RESTED AND READY.
HAVING TO LEAVE .I WAS VERY COMFORTABLE
I like Hilton's usual comfortable ambiance.
The hotel still makes you pay wifi and it's still quite a distance to where action is- Bayside!
parking was rather strange as it entered on something like the 7th floor.
