Location-close to Riverwalk and casino
We had a plumbing problem that was quickly resolved but there was a slight smell in the bathroom.
Great value - location was outstanding for our purpose: visiting the WWII museum and leaving the next morning on The Sovereign of the Seas, Royal Caribbean. Also good for a walk to French Quarter and morning stroll along the Riverwalk.
Location was excellent. Close enough from French Quartier and other activities but still somewhat away of noise and traffic. We liked the bed a lot.
We hated to pay for Wifi at this cost. Check in was lousy. Hotel is far too much impersonal and a guest could not count with staff at all.
Location location location!! We were in NOLA for Comic Con 2015 & the location couldn't have been better. The walkway to the outlet mall is a nice plus and so many close activities right outside the door! WWII Museum was phenomenal; Drago's restaurant was delicious and our room was overlooking the river! Will be back!!
the location in the city centre is excellent very good beds
For all extra services you need to pay extra (WIFI, fitness room, valet parking etc) The hotel is outdated and old fashioned
Service from all was great and the restaurant was great, although I normally don't eat at hotel restaurants unless late arrival and on business the restaurant was great.
Location, location, location. Clean, quiet....
Ridiculous high charge for internet. Restaurant has tourist food at tourist prices.
Great location..near enough to everything to easily walk. Staff was amazing.
We stayed in executive room but room key did not work to get to executive level for evening cocktails or morning breakfast. Had to keep going to front desk to gain access.
The room was comfortable, we enjoyed the view over the mighty Mississippi River from L27. Loved the link through to the shopping centre. Very helpful & polite staff especially when I fell off the high curb at the front of the hotel, the doorman was quick to help and even asked how I was the next day. I'd stay again for sure.
The duplicate payment effectively we were charged twice, it affected our travel card, we received help from the hotel's finance Manager who was very helpful in getting the payment cancelled. That's all.
Location, watched my bags after I checked out while I went sightseeing for the day
My room had a view of a wall. I asked for a late check out the night before and they never put it, luckily I verified in the morning and got that checked out. You have to pay for wifi. Housekeeping opened the door in the morning while I was in bed in my underwear even tho I kept telling them loudly not to open the door while they knocked.
With a little walking, very close to many activities. Although we did not know it at the time, I believe you could walk inside from the cruise ship dock to the hotel thru the mall. We walked across one parking lot outside and were there. We checked in on saturday morning and watched the cruise ship we just left set sail down the river that afternoon from our room.
I had no problems and was very pleased with our stay. My wife fixated on a couple crackers in one of the hall ways that didn't get cleaned up for three days. Considering this was the weekend between christmas and new years, it did not bother me. Our room was clean and neat.
The Hilton Hotel and Staff in New Orleans went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. Thank you to all.
The closing of the restaurant on Christmas Day.
We were in town for a cruise leaving the next day. The hotel was very conveniently located near the port and near the French Quarter. Couldn't have picked a better location!
The A/C in our room was broken. We could never get it to work so it made for some stagnant airflow throughout the night and it was hot! Secondly, when I made my reservation, I was offered a $50 hotel credit. On the day of checkout, they not only charged me the wrong amount for the room but also said that the credit was not valid. After 20 minutes or so of arguing with the hotel worker, she finally called a manager and got the issue resolved. Which obviously meant waiting 10 days to get refunded the money I wasn't supposed to pay. I wouldn't say this was the worst experience of my life but definitely a hassle!
the price of vallet parking
Location was perfect!
The cost of parking is very high. Also, the hotel puts a hold on debit cards so beware!
