Very nice location, staff was very friendly, super clean and newly renovated.
Location near Chelsea galleries, fast elevators, ok shower
No doorman to help w car on arrival, bad brick-wall view, bad breakfast options, bad bagel, bug on cream cheese, dreary lobby, hallway & restaurant
The price, the room
Too close to the elevator
Speedy, friendly check in. Great view of ESB RARE Bar & Grill was great Great TV channels Free WiFi!
Using your room card for the lift. Great for security, a pain when your loaded with shopping bags!
Perfect location to subway, shopping, restaurants and attractions. Hotel staff were GREAT, they were very friendly.
The walls are paper-thin.
The location is great! The hostel has great views and rooms are very nice Some of the staff were fantastic! Although they mess up my reservation, I was happy to stay here
they cancel my booking with any notice!! fortunately, they had one available room but wasn't the room that I booked (a better one with views). There were no apologies or compensation, moreover, they try to charged me as if I had been in the expensive room. No free wifi?? not even cable wifi on the room (and this is announced in booking). I can't understand how a 4* hotel doesn't give free wifi to their guests.
Comfortable and clean room.
Ice was not available without request from restaurant.
Loved the food and dessert at the lobby restaurant. "Rare".
Didn't like that you had to pay for Wi-FI while in room.
Great location, great room.
Location, night reception staff outstanding and did their best to accommodate our requests. Overall I would rate this Hotel as good to excellent with a bit of tweaking of the day reception staff who on our first day seemed indifferent and passed us on to others and were somewhat tripping over each other. I would stay at this hotel again.
The location was good and near the subways. After the first day we had no difficulty with day staff and they were attentive and provided us excellent service.
We were upgraded to a king bed and the room was quite spacious for a hotel in NYC. We had trouble logging into complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby, so the staff gave it to us free for the week.
Can't say that we can think of anything off the top of our heads. There were a couple of problems with the elevators, but nothing that would make us not come back.
Location and view of ES Building
Having to pay for wi fi
Stay was OK, Bar in reception quite buzzy, restaurant downstairs good for burgers, convenient for shopping at Macey's, if a foodie great Italian restaurant a few doors away and a food market/restaurant hall at flat Iron which is a couple of streets away called Eataly (amazing) ..
The roof bar great idea, great views but when it rains the stench is awful we had to leave after 1 drink, room needed a spring clean (ripped, dirty curtains). showers only - no bath in room.
Phantastic view from my (top) floor Panoramic window Very central in the city Price
Discoteque rooftop not mentioned at checkin
Very nice hotel, comfortable and clean room.
26th Street is noisy!
The location The room
Wifi is not free The room is too cold
comfy bed, good room service, strong wifi, perfect location - walking distance to the best neighborhoods.
Expensive wifi (almost $15!!). Double charged me for my room and had charged me 4 times for one minibar item - definitely look over the bill when you get it!
Breakfast hall and lobby
Had an amazing view to Empire State Building. Perfect location surrounded by cafes, restaurants and grocery stores. Rooftop bar had a great city skyline view.
Free wifi only available in the lobby. Rooftop bar music was too loud to have a conversation as a group.
It's one of the cheaper stays in NY if you manage to get the right deal. Centrally located.
While it's a little cheaper than most, it's still not exactly a bargain. Staff were quite robotic/emotionless. I've come to expect a level of warmth especially on check-in and this wasn't quite there. No complimentary WiFi. Room was dark and a little cramped for two people.
Friendly staff, amazing view of the Empire State Building, held our bags so we could explore on our last day, good bed, clean room and bathroom. Very good deal overall.
They charge for WiFi! $15 a day. Bad! The shower was super hot. Hallways are small and a little dingy but no big deal.
Coffee machine not working
The bed was very comfortable. We slept like bugs in a rug every night...
No free WIFI in an NYC hotel? I was disappointed.
Very clean, felt safe even if I was a female travelling alone
At the price of the room for one night, would have appreciated wi-fi for free
