Score from 75 reviews Very good
The high king room was really nice and comfortable. I was facing the Empire State Building (room 1810) and the view could not have been better. The location couldn't be better, meal king distance to Empire State, 5th Ave and Broadway and Cental Park, two blocks from Madison Square Garden where I saw Fleetwood Mac. 1hour or 30 minute subway ride to WTC, Statue of Liberty, and Brooklyn Bridge- I recommed walking across it at sunset! Amazing views back to Manhatten.
Nothing! Wish it was free..... Oh there should be free wifi in the rooms in this day and age. You're supposed to pay for it, though I did find if I joined the free wifi in the rooftop bar it worked in my room for up to 24 hours....
Location was great, staff were helpful, room was nicely decorated. Restaurant was good value and had nice food. Easy reach of 28th Street and 23rd Street stations.
New York is generally noisy. Expect tha t even on the 21st floor you're going to hear street noise, all night.
Having to pay for internet
Very nice front desk staff, happily let us check in early. Lobby is small, not luxurious at all. Spotlessly clean room and nice bathroom. Generally well-insulated, but noise from hallway seemed loud. Good room-darkening blinds.
Didn't matter to us, but teeny-tiny closet. Strange that you had to lean in and get splashed to turn on the shower.
40th anniversay. Wanted a high floor. Couldn't accommodate. Went in back room and came back with a bottle of champagne given to us by the hotel. "Prime" terrific for breakfast. Very good staff. Breakfast buffet excellent.
Great location, really comfy bed, easy to leave luggage in bag storage
Walls between rooms seem to be a bit thin meaning we were woken in the early hours two days in a row by some noisy neighbours, no free wifi in rooms
Clean and great rate
Nice interior, well styled Tidy room with modern bathroom Conveniently located between the 123 (red) and BDFM (amber) subway lines, which stations are within a 5 min walk.
Room, although very tidy modern and tastefully decorated, can be found quite small
The beds are comfortable.
Garbage was not changed during our stay. One of the rooms we rented had a crib. The crib was dirty. The doors are paper thin. You could hear the slightest sound in the hallway.
The bed was absolutely incredible! I've been to many, many, many hotels all over the world, & this is possibly the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Also getting a free upgrade to a King Room was a lovely bonus! The bathroom facilities were very modern & the shower spacious. Rooms were also exceptionally clean.
The one thing that I found rather irritating about this hotel, was the fact that there was no free WiFi in the rooms. You had to pay an extortionate amount to get WiFi in the room, or go down to the lobby where it was free. Not so bad if you don't mind having internet, but I do a lot of my work while I travel, & a good internet/WiFi service is always helpful. But I only stayed 1 night so it wasn't TOO big a problem.
staff noise small room
Arrived and were greeted by no one . Had to unload our car ourselves. Parking garage is a block away and it's cheaper overnight rates 2 blocks away. No free wifi ? Ridiculous. Bed was comfortable
Cleaning crew Tryed to enter room at 8 am. No goodmorning, goodnight or good afternoon at front desk or concierge. They need a class on hospitality.
Mattress was horrible, very soft and squeaky
location front desk staff bathroom was spacious beds comfy clean coffee in rooms
the loudness on our floor, could hear doors closing early morning...the city was quieter
very pleasant staff, helpful. nice bathroom and toiletries
not overly much space for me and two grown kids, but workable. creepy bug in the workout space a couple of days, and the yoga mats are pretty ragged
Most comfortable bed I have ever had on my travels. Great staff throughout the hotel.
I liked the location and the roof top bar.
I didn't like the hidden charges, such as tax. What I paid to what was quoted came to about $200 which is far too much considering I didn't use any hotel facilities.
The hotel was so good that I can enjoy whole trip. Very convenient and comfortable but if I could use internet for free then the hotel was perfect.
the blondes in skirts....
the wishers that have their noses turned to far north
Location was excellent for first time in New York. Awesome roof top bar which at night is a great party venue and gives stunning views of the Empire State Building. Everything you need in the Chelsea area. Great bar and restaurant round the corner. Literally 2 minute walk. Shows all live sport and becomes a great little night spot
Convenient location, not a very beautiful district though. Excellent hotel, good rooms. Perfect restaurant.
It was a quite neighborhood for NYC but still central. 2 Blocks from the subway (red line) you can walk to the empire state building or the pennstation and times square. The room was clean, not to small but not big ;-) We had a great view!!!!
no more free cookies for my boyfriend :) The internet should be free, these days
The room is not spacious, though this can be understood for it is in Manhattan. No fridge for personal items. Beverage was automatically charged even if I only pulled the locker.
Rooftop Bar Location very central
very little rooms
The Hilton of the fashion district was in the perfect location. Right in the mix of the city near many great restaurants, convenience stores, and attractions. I enjoyed every bit of my stay
