wifi free was really bad payed for better but not much better
Bed, pillow the best we had a really nice room one of the best we have been in.
Baffet was too expensive for one person
Very surprised how clean it was.Very warm welcome by the staff. Room had outside view of New York Refrigerator clean Quality of the furniture superior Food accessible and nutritious Affordable for the quality
Staff were so helpful. Couldn't do enough for you.
Parking to expensive
the room the breakfast
The poor wifi Tha parking and the long line to take my car out is horrible.
Elevators were packed, very hard to get downstairs in the morning.
Great view from the room, very clean, and comfy bed.
Close to everything
Not having faciltys to make a cup of tea. Just a small thing
It was ideal local to everything we needed to see and do.Staff were always very helpfulll and plesant. Would stay there again.
Staff was helpful and there were no delays in checking in. Price was right and rooms were quite good. Would stay again.
Staff at reception not particularly friendly. Hotel needs a pool
elevators slow and crowded
There was discrimination at the front desk when I fall in line to get an umbrella, while all the western people before me were receiving new set of umbrella and when I reached my line, the staff gave me a used and wet umbrella. The hotel is too crowded and noisy at the lobby. Free wifi was not clear that it is only available in the lobby/public areas and not in the room.
Room is always clean. Location is very good.
Lobby staff - front desk, bellmen, conceirge and luggage check staff were all RUDE. Waited 45 minutes to get an umbrella - seriously! Breakfast - cold and blah buffet - was $45/pp. We thought the host, whose English was limited, said $14.95. Called 3x about old soap left in shower - no response from housekeeping
5 minute walk to Central Park South & 10 minutes to Time Square. 3 minutes to great shopping. Rooms were large for NYC and clean. Beds were great.
Skip the "Ice Bar" on the commercial level. It is an overpriced gimmick. $45 for a parka and a drink...and a small drink at that!
We took a gal pals trip to NYC from the Midwest, and the location of this hotel is fantastic. Within walking distance to the heart of Midtown, but far enough away from Times Square to avoid all of the lights and noise
No refrigerator in the room, no disposable sleepers andost of all, I've been charged for one night ahead of our stay because we checked in late. Though I've already informed several staff at the reception desk that we're paying with a different card, up until now, they have not reversed the payment to my credit/debit card to think this happened last Friday, April 17. It's now April 21 and still waiting for the refund which I find so frustrating.
The hotel is near all the interesting places to see - museums (MomA), radio city music hall, Lincoln center, Central Park, Rockefeller center, shopping, Times Square and very near the subway.
On our last day in the hotel, we were expected to leave the room at noon. We stayed there until 11.30 am, but they came 2 times, knocking the door heavily, to ask us if we were going to leave. Very rude.
Aloof Staff. And we paid way too much to park overnight.
Location and view.
Breakfast just took caught us off guard. We were okay with it but it was in the executive lounge and limited on space. We got there our first morning and it took us 20 minutes in line waiting to get in. Food was good and typical but the wait caught us off guard. Got up earlier every other day and had no line.
Loved the room! Loved the location! Loved the hotel! If you get the breakfast with the room for the weekend plan on getting up early of you have to stand in line. Breakfast typical and very good but if you get there after 9am plan on being on a line.
Location, kindness of staff
I would have liked the room to have coffee/tea facilities. Especially when we stayed there for 10 days. The only place to eat in the hotel is Herbs cafe which is pretty basic.
I frequently book rooms in different hotels. But this one 'NYC Hilton Middtown' was a real bad experience for the money you pay: - Staff talking like Androids - Small room - Shower head popped off when I opened the water. - no slippers - no sewing tools - no breakfast for the high price of the room. Sheraton and Meridian are so far my best places to stay.
The location was good.
To much confusion !!! Very busy all the time !!!
Very good positin, comfortable bed, great breakfast !!!
