Location. size of room. price
The hotel is in the middle of everything. Great hotel and extremely friendly staff.
Location was the only good point if this hotel.
One of the elevators was not working and they did not fix it for the 4 days we were there. It would take 20 minutes just to get to lobby. Rooms were hot and could not adjust temperature . Hotel did nothing to make this better. Street noise horrible.
Love the location and the front desk
The first room was noisy and cold then they move us to another room.but we waited for 30 mins for someone to take the bags and the manager was sooo rude
Great location, friendly staff and we had a great view from our room over 6th avenue. Ask for a high floor.
Location Spacious Lobby Amazing health club with plenty of updated equipment (& SO clean!) Comfortable Beds with plenty of super soft pillows Bathroom Amenities!
Bathroom wall paper peeling off and almost molding Location of toilet paper No snack machines on our floor for kids
The location worked for us because we used the Limo Liner and it drops us off right there at the hotel. The cocktails were vey good and convenient when we were tired and waiting for our bus.
I felt the bed was too hard. Also, the lobby is so very big and noisy and a cup of coffee costs $4. I missed the coffee pot and complementary coffee that most good hotels offer in room. It's always nice to have that (usually bad) cup to take the edge off as one prepares for their day.
Location to theatre district and Moma
Attitude of Duty Manageress. Lack of staff to help. The only staff that wanted our attention was the Timeshare Staff. Lack of information. The breakfast/diner and lunches menue was basic.....Macdonalds had a better range of food and not as expensive. Sold our room before we arrived despite having a conformation booking and number. Charged us full price for a lower standard room despite offering a discount. Then charged two amounts on my card...The first full amount and then the discounted amount...then taking about 6 to 7 days to rectify the amounts blaming my own bank when Hilton was at fault all the time. We were not the only guests that had their rooms old on as we spoke to several other guests who had the same problems. They also charged us an additional $50 a day in case we caused damage to the room.............I n all the years I have stayed at Hotels all around the world I have never been asked, there again we were not asked, advised or told that we had to pay this holding charge. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL Stick to the Sheraton or the Renassiance Chain...much better value and friendly staff!
The location was brilliant. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was varied and well presented. All round a very good option for a New York break.
We weren't there long enough!
location: near central park, MoMA, 5th ave shopping, Rockafeller center.
No room service: when you get thirsty late at night (past 10pm) there is no way for you to get a regular drink anywhere in the hotel. No mini fridge: for the above reason Staff is lazy and don't want to help. It took me 15 minutes to find someone who was willing to help me and my wife bring over 10 bags to the front entrance. The bathroom: looked like a bathroom in a regular studio Apartment!! When I am spending money to stay at the hotel....the bathroom fixtures and stuff should be somewhat nicer then what was at this hotel. My room wasn't cleaned until I asked one of the employees in the morning to come into my room and clean it.
location staff was friendly and nice shop in Lobby
for me the hotel was a bit too big but this is not really something negative - I just want to mention this
The maid staff who cleaned our room daily did an excellent job
When the front desk clerk saw we had booked through bookings.com she was not very friendly. She also said unless we upgraded to a more expensive room we would have to wait for our room.
The Location: perfect..in the middle of the Heart of Manhattan
The bathroom cleanliness: ai ai ai ... that should not be in a Hilton Hotel
No good place to eat in the hotelier good room service for food
You will not get WiFi if you booked through booking
Staff very disorganized. At check-in told our room not ready but were assured a King bed. Came aftet dinner and went to room which was occupied! Put in a "business room" on a queen bed and only one comfortable chair and one end table.
The location and the price for the night
I understand the price I paid was low for the hotel, but it doesn't mean they gave us an awful room very small and uncomfortable ask for king bed instead I got a queen bed but the worst is that the room was all dusted and the sheets dirty also the blanket in the closet dirty for this kind of hotel I expect more. If you have rooms empty for long time before you assign them to somebody make sure they are clean!!!! Also all the rates should include breakfast
The location was great. The hotel and room was very nice. The maid service was excellent.
The sofa bed was not good for sleeping.
Location - easy access to every part of the city. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
The cost of a cocktail at the bar in the lobby!!!!! We were exhausted from traveling. So we decided to have a vodka. It was so good and relaxing that we had another one. For 4 vodkas, the tab came to $74.00 UGH !!!!
Large room comfortable bed great view
No glasses or tea making faciliates in room
Made reservation thru booking.com upon arriving hilton did not have reservation will never go thru booking.com again was very dissappointed
The location and the price were good. Overall, a very good value for Manhattan.
I had a view of a roof and backside of a building. No street view.
