The housekeepers were friendly and hard worker they were helpful everytime.i liked the service of the hotel.no complains at all
paid wifi in the room
Nice clean facility with friendly staff. Convenient location.
Parking felt a little sketchy.
The service, comfort of the beds and the location, very easy to get to.
Prices were extremely high for the breakfast buffet-- $45 per person ! (Yes, it was an impressive buffet.) Tea at the carryout area (which also had a great deal of options) was $4.
The location is ideal for access to all of New York. A fabulous hotel and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
Location was good. Centrally located.
No free wi-fi in rooms. What is this, a Howard Johnsons? Also, front desk and luggage room were understaffed for a busy holiday weekend. Management should have projected and anticipated better.
Staff was terrible and so was the way we had breakfast. We asked for room service they brought it in a bag and it was cold. Staff always looks mad
Far as location the best right in the middle of everything
Lots of noise coming from renovations above.
We requested a view and got it. The bed was comfy and lots of pillows.
The gentleman who checked us in was cordual but not inviting. He didn't give us any information on anything except how to get to the elevator to get to our room. He could have been a little more friendly. We requested room service and received a takeout bag. NOT the experience we wanted. There were not enough towels and wash cloths. We had to request them and received them promptly.
Quiet, convenient, the addition of available breakfast and location.
We enjoyed the location of the hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Good consistent wifi that enabled me to really work... A big, HUGE plus when traveling for business. Hotel Airport shuttle made getting to the airport easy. Rooms are very comfortable, lots of nice lighting for homey feel. Loved having a comfy couch in the room for relaxing. The bath is small, but has a fab shower! Very comfy... Would stay there again.
The only problem we ran into was that a man with the same exact name was staying at the hotel. When we checked in, there seemed to be confusion over our reservation, but we were given a key to a room... Then, we open the door, and there was the man, with same name, thankfully working at his desk. :) We were grateful for his kindness... But this was extremely awkward and a huge embarrassment. I was disappointed that the hotel didn't make some accommodation for the mix up. Other than a giggle and an apology, we were simply given a key for another room. Management probably should have intervened, offered a drink ticket or two, or possibly a small discount for some service for the unfortunate mistake. All in all it was a nice stay, but a little humbleness goes a long way when mistakes are made like this.
Convenient location and clean nice room. Great snack bar in lobby
Very good location
Hotel is too big and there is not enough staff and space - you wait long at reception and concierge as there is not enough staff, wait long for breakfast as there is not enough space. No free wifi!!!! You have to pay if you want to leave your luggage in the storage!
The bed and shower were okay. The bedroom was quiet.
Lighting was ridiculously inadequate. Decor drab and depressing. Limited selection of TV stations.
Helpful staff, great location.
No tea making facilities and the bar didn't open until the evening, quite dated old Hilton.
No coffee or frig in the room
The bathroom was atrocious. I took pictures of the tub and shared with front desk. They have all the information.
I liked that I did not have a long check in or check out.I also liked the room it was beautiful
I didn't like that at 9am a the cleaning lady just came in the room without knocking. That was surprising since we had a do not disturb on the door and checkout wasn't until 12
Pleasant, comfortable room in a great location. The ADA bathroom was excellent, and the staff was polite and helpful. The snack bar in the lobby was particularly good for that kind of thing, and only slightly overpriced.
Big, impersonal facility (think Penn Station with better lighting and more wood paneling), which is okay as the city is the main event anyway. So-called valet parking was very difficult - you actually go to a remote garage yourself. NOT up to Hilton expectations, given the expense.
Bathroom need some remodeling
I liked the location, you have everything nearby
The room, a little bit old, not cleaned properly, I even found a flee on my bed, good it was before I left.
location, decor, accessibility to everything, on site and in the neighborhood. Rooms were very comfortable and hotel accommodated my request for adjoining rooms.
No coffee maker/supplies delay in getting registered strands of hair on the bathroom floor
