Hilton Newark Airport  

Blood stained comforter brought to our room,when a new one was brought he didn't want to take the dirty one back and didn't seem to understand English,but was wearing a rubber glove......

Good service, reasonable price, closeness to airport. Very friendly and efficient staff. It's a good quality airport hotel.

Pool needs a clean (scum around the edge) and hot tub way too hot (103F).

Close enough to newark airport. We came in on a 2 AM flight so we had to take a taxi from the airport, and even though it was only a 5 minute drive we paid $22 for the taxi because that was the minimum fare. I am not sure if this hotel offers an airport transfer service, if they do offer one, you are not informed about how you can get it.

We were staying on this hotel only for one night, the next day we asked the staff in the hotel for a taxi to go to Manhattan and they got us a taxi that charged us $90+$13 (toll) to go to Manhattan when other taxis charge around $75. What bothered me the most is that they did not tell me the price of the taxi until we were inside the taxi. I would only recommend this hotel if you need to be close to Newark Airport. There is nothing else near the hotel, not even taxis.

Very handy place to stop over before an early flight from Newark. Bus service to the airport made getting to the airport at a very early hour easy and I was glad that I did not stay in Manhattan that night.

Isolated. Once you get there you are basically confined to the hotel. Definately a place to stop over and not much more.

Check in and check out at front desk was a treat! Friendly, courteous and caring personnel. I arrived late and was tired. The young lady was efficient and got me settled in no time! I was very impressed! The room was very nicely appointed and the bed was oh, so comfy!

The shuttle from airport was full and the driver was perfunctory at best. I got a ride on the Renaissance shuttle and walked the two blocks to the Hilton.

Overall, staff were friendly expect the Spanish lady at the front desk who checked us in. She was rude and unprofessional. We got there a couple of hours before our check in time, we have to ask every 30 minutes for room availability (per her request) and she seemed annoyed by our presence. While we waited at the lounge area, we ask for an adult beverage and since the restaurant was closed until five, we were not served. Another couple asked for a drink and they were served. The restaurant manager apologized and finally we had our drinks. Other than that, the rest of the staff were nice and friendly. They should have 3 shuttles running instead of 2.

Nothing to dislike. The Hotel served the purpose of an extended transit allowing for some shopping.

This is the best hotel for those people who need a hotel close to the Newark International Airport. The rooms are clean and well furnished, and the beds are comfortable. The breakfasts and the dinners are fantastic. This hotel also has an excellent fitnesss center: a nice gym and a large indoor swimming pool. There is also a business center where guests can use the Internet.

Close to airport.

As a solo traveller from South Africa I was very apprehensive - but was greatly surprised by the whole experience and would readily recommend to any of my friends irrespective of their reason for visiting New York and especially via Newark International Airport.

The only thing is I had a simple meal and felt quite comfortable with the price - but seems the amount in rands is absolutely exorbitant but in touch with my bank to see what the problem is - will be back staying there so will enquire of the bank as well!!!!!

Convenient for both Newark NJ airport and the port of Bayonne for the cruise ship terminal

I payed 160$, but the payment showed on Booking.com is 101.15$. I did not know if the additional 50$ was reservation fee or not. I haven't received it back.

We liked the location. The staff were very helpful and upgraded us to a double room with double bed at no extra cost. The shuttle bus was well on time. Overall excellent stay and nice hotel.

The hotel had reserved the wrong type of room for us, which was disappointing as I had made the reservation well in advance.

It is very close to the airport with v good shuttle to and from. The room was stylish, comfortable and clean. Any staff we dealt with were friendly and efficient- particuarly the woman who drove the shuttle bus.

Very convenient for one night stay before early am flight

Outrageous restaurant prices. My wife and I each had two vodka and tonics. (Just the house vodka.) $11.00 each drink !! She had a hamburger and I had a club sandwich and onion soup. Meal total was $93.00 !! Only place we stayed on a three week trip that did not have Wi-Fi in the guest rooms.
