Hilton Newark Penn Station  

A renovation of the rooms is needed. Carpet looks old and dirty. Bathroom ventilation is looking like it was never cleaned. A general renovation needed of the rooms.

Convient location if you're heading to the city. Staff were friendly, hotel room was very clean!

My partner and I were in New York to get Married. The staff could not have been more helpfull than they were. I liked the fact that if I asked a member of staff a question and they did not deal with that department they would find someone that did and get right back to us .All the staff were happy and smilling most of thie time. The path train would take us in to town in no time.

The staff, from the bell captain to the people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The accommodations were quiet, clean and comfortable.

That I wasn't able to stay longer. :-(

The bed was amazingly comfortable and the location was convenient.

The chair and one of the bedsheets in the room had stains on it. There was hair bathtub that didn't belong to me. The front desk attendant didn't explain that I needed 2 tickets to get out of the parking lot so I had to go all the way back up to my room to get the other ticket. The parking for the hotel was outside and it was raining.

I love the location, it makes it easy to make your way about to NYC and within jersey itself.

The shuttle pickup i waited for a hour and half and no pickup and also you should leave a quick ext. # to call direct from the waiting area at NEWARK. But none the less it was good once contacted.

I want to highlight Fre's service at the registration counter, she is exceptional, nice, in spite of having had a long, long working day, for she had to stay due to the storm, she was nice, patient, made a difference to me! Should be recognized! Marta Volnie

Very good location – just few steps away from Newark Penn Station, where you can take the subway to nyc, or Amtrak trains to other cities. You will find a path from the hotel that leaves you directly in the station. To ny Penn Station the nj Transit trains won’t take longer than 16/20 minutes ($5,00/ride each way), and no more than 7 min. To Newark International Airport. There’s also a path to a small mall, where you can find a Starbucks, a deli, an atm and some other stores. Good, large, clean and comfortable room: big fluffy and cozy bed. Flat screen tv. Large and modern bathroom. A/C in good condition and working very well. A little bit expensive but still cheaper than equivalent hotels in Manhattan. It’s good value for money and therefore a very good choice if you’re staying for few days in NYC, or in transit to other cities.

The reception staff is not so friendly, but efficient.

Not much -- the staff were accomodating.

NO parking -- parking was expensvie in an adjoining lot -- $22 per day or fraction thereof.

Verrrrrrrry convenient.It is just opposite to the Newark Penn Station.Staff are quite friendly.

It offers free breakfast.But just so so.Don't look forward to having a continental breakfast.You will just only get full.

Ease of travel to NYC, right at Penn Station a 20min train ride away from Penn Stations NYC. Very good security. Great service from Bell desk, and Reception. Free shuttle to and from airport was handy.

Housekeeping didn't service the room with consistency. The coffee/tea station was never refilled and we had to constantly get supplies from reception. The number of towels provided were between 1 and 3, sometimes we had no facecloths. Bathroom floors and showers were not cleaned daily. We stayed 6 nights so this was a little bit of an inconvenience.

This people that worked there were friendly and inviting. The room was comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel to everyone that's looking to go there. The staff helped out very much to our needs. Im ready to go back already.

Convenience to subway and NJ Transit system to NYC

Starbucks closed on weekend and no choice for drinks and eateries at [remises.

The location was convenient making it easy to go places in Jersey or into NYC. The rooms were a good size and clean. The front desk staffed seemed cheery.

The hotel restaurant is terrible. I would avoid eating there. Room service messed up our order and didn't answer the phone when we tried to call to complain. The morning waitresses seemed less than thrilled to be working there and appear bothered to have customers. The food was utterly horrible.

Very convenient to Newark Airport and PATH station to Manhattan. The 24 hour shuttle picked us up at the airport a few minutes after we called.

The hotel was very noisy. The rooms are not sound proofed, and there is construction going on across the street. Also, housekeeping very loudly knocks on every door early in the morning. The staff was polite, but not very knowledgeable. One staff member couldn't tell me how to get to the PATH train, even though the station is right next to the hotel. The airport shuttle picks up at the airport anytime, but only takes passengers to the airport on the hour.

It was conveniently located, comfortable, felt safe and clean, staff was friendly and helpful, shuttle service was available when we needed it.
