The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms clean. Great pool The golf fantastic. Disney bus service a great bonus. When the renovations finish the lobby bar is going to look fantastic and an great place to relax after a day at the parks. good choice of restaurant's
Bar price a little steep. Bull and Bear not worth the price(service very good) Service could sometimes be a little slow. on check-in we was not given all the details about the hotel and had to go and ask the next day. If we ask reception for something i.e extra pillows usually had to remind them.
From reception to check-out, every aspect of my stay was excellent...much above industry standards.
Parking very expensiv
Nice pool, great food, and very close to Disney world.
Expensive self-parking rates and early check-out time.
Choices for food are extremely limited, other than that, awesome stay!
I like the the cleanliness and the resort area most.
Payment for the parking is what I didn't like.
location was good, did not get to enjoy the pool.
ac went out both nights and the room was not cleaned the best found hair in the bathroom and a bug on the pillow not to mention the pillows are a bit uncomfortable.
The staff was top shelf, though taxed by the challenges of the current renovation and large conference in full swing. They were gracious and accommodating and gave accurate information, especially when there might be a delay (for a bellman, for example). Such honesty and prompt resolution of even minor issues goes a long way with me. Great job!
The main lobby is being renovated. So, the pick-up, drop-off, taxi, and bell services are not as efficient as they could be. This is temporary. The staff and the value makes up for the minor inconvenience, which is why they earn top marks.
Maid service in room was exceptional. Anticipated our needs without us asking for anything. Any front desk requests were promptly and satisfactorily met. Awesome pool !!!! Location close to Disney. Great view of fireworks. Convenient free Disney shuttle with direct, expeditious routes and times.
Pool towels were stained, left lying around dirty too long furniture inside lobby and out on pool deck VERY DIRTY parking fee and resort fee plus taxes on parking fees and resort fees....boosts base ad cost of $99 up to about $144 per night. food costs inside hotel ridiculously high ($4 for single pack of Ritz crackers....about a $0.99 value even at a convenience store) and hotel is remote to alternate restaurants without car
Pool area 24 hour coffee shop Overall look of property
- Felt cheated with the resort charge - Small washroom and shower area - $18 parking charge is overpriced (higher charge than Disney) - On 2 of the 4 days at 6pm, room still hadn't bee cleaned - Would have been nice to at least been offered something for the trouble, instead was told that they have until 6:30 to clean the room For a property that charges $200 a night this is not the answer I wanted
The rooms were clean and attractive. The bathrooms were complete with nice big towels.
The advertised price did not include a mandatory resort fee which was for "additional benefits," non of which applied to us. Wifi was included on this extras list, which is free at even the most basic motel. I felt hoodwinked. Breakfast was not included. It was good but expensive. The room was small for two queen beds. One bed was too close to the wall to get in bed on that side.
I had mentioned in the special notes that it was our 28th anniversary and my husbands birthday..wasn't sure if that would make a difference but it sure did.. Checked in and we were upgraded to a room with an awesome view and then on our anniversary they sent up a bottle of champagne with choc covered strawberries very nice.. It was an awesome stay and we love the location so close to everything ... Can't wait to go back next year :)
You do hear a little noise from other rooms..and housekeeping should think about cleaning everything in the room ..mirrors etc.. All in all good general cleaning of room ..I'm a little picky
We visited the resort for two nights (Aug 15/16) to celebrate our 24th Wedding Anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we checked in on Friday afternoon until we checked out on Sunday, the staff was extremely helpful. Vicky Rittberg at the front desk provided superior, personalized service, attended to our needs, and fulfilled our specific requests. After checking in we were informed that since the Waldorf Astoria and the Bonnet Creek were adjoined, we would have full access to both resorts. The pool area at the Waldorf was very relaxing and peaceful, while the Bonnet Creek's pool area was lively and playful with children playing in the lazy river. You can bring your own float or buy one from the store in the pool area, but a float is not needed to enjoy the river. Both areas (Waldorf and Bonnet Creek) were well maintained and attention was given to every detail. We used several of the restaurants and eateries on the property and all were top notch and service was unparalleled. One manager in particular - Larry Jinks - made our visit to the "Beech" bar very enjoyable and was extremely accommodating. With my wife's extreme food allergies, he was very knowledgeable and provided outstanding, personalized service in helping her choose from the food and drink menus. It's service like this that sealed the deal for us and we will certainly be visiting this resort again.
One thing I would like to have seen on the Bonnet Creek side is a complementary morning coffee station in the lobby. The Waldorf side had this available but it was just a bit of a walk. And finally, on Sunday morning before checkout we called down to request a late checkout and were met with our first an only bad attitude of the weekend. After making the request, the operator huffed/sighed and told us that she could extend us until 12:00 and that's all - anything after that would be an additional $25 / hour and she immediately hung up the phone.
It has a nice location and close to all entertainment places. Best treatment and lovely people.
The highest charge for parking fee. It was too much. Also the hhonors did not work for me to upgrade my room.
The location was superb and it was good value for money. It is a wonderful hotel if you are going with young children.
My room was not fully clean as there was rubbish still left in the bin from a previous guest. There are major building works going on so there were slight inconveniences to where places were located. Some of the staff were slightly rude. As I had just previously stayed at the Waldorf Astoria next door, I continually kept going back there to use their facilities instead of using the Hilton's.
Valet was great. Very quick service. Pool was great. Could spend a whole day there. Great location and shuttle service to Disney destinations.
Drinks are pricey, but that is to be expected.
Everything apart from the lack of entertainment in the evenings but this I must stress is an extremely minor gripe
Could've been better evening entertainment
The swimming pool, restaurants, arcade games room, and location. Room wifi is better than before.
High self parking fee and late check in time.
No free ice or water
Very complete facilities. Shuttle to Disney parks.
Extremely big. We thought it was close to the parks (about 15-20min). Expensive
Pool facilities and plenty of sunbeds, location great and breakfast very good staff lovely.
Room not ready on arrival but have us complimentary me voucher without asking
The pool was a fantastic for our 7 & 9 year old, also being open until 11pm was great after a day at the parks.
Only thing I'd have said was as limited menu choice in the downstairs restaurant. The food was great but more choices would be an improvement.
This hotel has the wow factor. From the moment you step into the foyer you are treated with politeness and efficiency. The hotel is beautifully designed; really pleasing on the eye. The rooms are light and airy and tastefully decorated. My daughter and I had a room that overlooked the golf course, the lazy river and Disney which was great for watching the fireworks at night on our rest days. The lazy river is great fun, my daughter and I spent many happy hours floating around which made great holiday memories for us. The breakfast was excellent - fresh and plenty of choice. The waiting staff were very efficient and polite.
Obviously the size of the hotel dictated that at certain times there was going to be a delay in receiving a table for breakfast. However, it could be up to 25 minutes. As my daughter and I were extremely excited to get on with our day, the waiting time seemed like forever!
Location was good.
Getting in and out of the parking garage was always a hassle because the card reader hardly ever worked. Also, has to argue with the front desk clerk to get the room type that was confirmed even after calling an hour before arriving to confirm.
