Our balcony was covered with bird poop, couldn't seat out on it, our shower had mold, 2:15 am we had 2 guys throwing up and yelling outside our door called front desk and ask for help never came called back no answer .....
On the river
There was no mini bar and room service stopped at 1 am ..... For the amount of money you pay .....
Right on the river walk
Disappointed that the pool was closed for building repairs on the one beautiful day that we were there. We had even called the week prior to make sure that the pool would be open and were told "yes". Management did say that we could use the Marriott's pool but it was three blocks away. We went for an hour but found that facility to be inconvenient.
Great location, very friendly staff, loved that Starbucks was on site.
valet takes forever to bring me my vehicle.
Self parking is $29 per night across the street...You have to park on the 7th level and carry your bags...no sky walk or tunnel.
Beautiful facility right on the riverwalk. Everything is within distance...Great for a small couple's getaway.
Parking is a nightmare, valet expensive with long waits, food was just OK, no indoor pool, very noisy area.
The staff was very pleasant.
We had not one bad experience. It was a very enjoyable stay which we would like to repeat in the future.
The total friendliness and courtesy of the hotel staff from the moment we arrive until the moment we left totally satisfying any need we may have wanted during our stay..
Our stay started off as a disappointment from the get go. I paid for a river view and had booked a month in advance but when I opened the windows of the balcony we were looking at the water tower....no river view. We were moved to a different room but on a higher floor which made the river view nonexistent. Also, we ordered room service only for our tray to be half loaded. Room service had to make two more trips to bring what we ordered. We were told at check in that we could order an extra bed for my 12 year old son and when I called down to order the bed, was told we could not have one but "since we were told we could at check in" that they would make an exception. I am a Hilton Honors member and always true to the Hilton brand but this one was not up to my expectations. There seems to be a disconnect with customer service and a lack of concern with making things right. When working, I don't mind a few blunders here and there but when on vacation, it seems I'm less tolerant when disappointments like these occur. I had stayed here 3 years ago and had a much better experience but will not be staying here in the future when visiting San Antonio, regardless of the great location. I do have to add that the bellman was helpful and a server in the rstaurant was very friendly.
Location on the RiverWalk was great, nice to have a full service restaurant and bar attached to the hotel.
I felt we over paid. Wanted the balcony to face the riverwalk and our room did not. Was not told it was 40 something dollars A DAY to valet.. would have been a nice thing to know. Felt the hotel is over priced
Bed was comfortable.
Close to Briscoe museum. Close to heart of riverwalk.
Friendly staff, and very helpful about the imediate area.
The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly and the room was amazing, the bed was really comfy and the view from our room was gorgeous!
Car valet service is slow.
Valet took over an hour to bring our car! Not enough help. Lady at the check in counter told me "one moment" three times while she drank her drink and walked in and out of the office. Waited on bellman for a while as well.
Great location. Neat story of the building construction.
Nothing said to me about the $50 "incidental" charge to my card. I know it'll go off, but it should have been mentioned. That's all. Everything else was very nice.
Sitting on the balcony after hours and enjoying the city view and breeze.
We did not like that wifi cost extra, that parking was either $30 to self park or $43 dollars for valet, or how pricey breakfast was either($12-20). The pool was also small and very cold, so not very kid friendly.
I booked the hotel without my husband really knowing where we were staying. When we arrived, he kept telling me "good job, babe" a hundred times because of how great the hotel was. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The beds were nice and soft. The shower was hot and perfect pressure. The staff was super friendly and interacted with my 5 yr old son. We left in the evening to walk down the river walk and were in the center of everything pretty much.
Wifi not very fast/stable
Best location and amenities on the River Walk. Beautiful hotel. Great staff.
As I was checking out I requested my car since I had to leave it in valet. I waited an hour and because of much persistence on my behalf I finally got it. I had to ask 4 different staff members for it. I literally went to the street to meet the attendant to get my vehicle. I was traveling with 2 other families who stayed in same hotel but did not encounter this situation. Because of poor assistance I was left behind by them. I was traveling alone with my granddaughter. I ended going back home without the others who had left way before me.
Comfortable hotel. Awesome location. Staff a little cold. Did not feel welcomed as other hotels I have stayed. I was just another guest.
Could not get a bell boy
The valet parking was great
Nothing much! Aching legs and feet from all the walking to visit the interesting places is as bad as it gets.
Step outside the back door and you can stretch your legs with fun walks on the water ways. Step out the front door and you have great restaurants by night and unique artisanal crafts by day.
It was a little more than we usually spend for a room when we go to the state tournament since we don't spend much time in our room.
We attended the state basketball tournament and it was very comfortable and easy to get around. It was close to a variety of restaurants and loved Starbucks inside.
Hot hallways, hot room, took the A/C system hours to cool my room. 45min valet service
Friendly staff Great location Nice view Quick room service
Two large towels, one hand towel, two wash rags. Mildew in our shower. Heater would not heat we left to go eat was still not warm called desk they sent guy up he turned the heater on at a pipe in the ceiling.
Everything was perfect.Convenient.
