Staff was a little stiff at times
Friendly staff, nice room and great location.
We love our complimentary breakfast, because of our bathroom.
I requested 2 queen beds & we only got 2 double beds. We expected the room to be nicer.
I was in the Executive Tower: big room! Asked if Id like a low or high floor. I chose high. 19 is second from top but the building is right across from an office building with windows looking in... Delicious food from room service - big salad with local bread and really good pizza. And Porta Terra is very good in the lobby too.
TWO BUILDINGS They did not tell tou all the amentities like gym, pool, sauna, steam room are across the street. If you want any of those do NOT stay in executive tower. NO WIFI. You call yourself a business hotel and stuff dont supply comp wifi. Ridiculous.
Staff was very friendly and helpful My husband loved the work out facility and used it often. Bed was very comfortable.
The size of the room was a bit small
Very clean. I'm picky about bathrooms and ours was spotless. Valet broke my back window but, we were compensated fairly and window fixed right away.
Free wifi would be nice.
Bed was nice, desk in room very nice, wash room nice.
Services seemed slow. Room size was smaller then the picture made it seem.
The location. Everything interesting is in walking distance.
The AC of the room made the sound of a jet engine. I switched it off, but there was still some AC noise in intervals coming from the bathroom and there you could not switch it off.
Very helpful and friendly staff
Pay for wifi - who does that anymore?!
Peter Thomas Roth soaps and late check out time.
First room smelled of cigarette smoke so we requested to move rooms. Second room was not much better. No help from the bellman to move our things. Could have been much better service. Room was quite small and in impressive for the hefty price tag.
Location, directly in down town Swimming pool View
Wifi not included in the room
Location. Check in staff was wonderful.
The bathrooms were way to small. The concierge was a real disappointment. Would have like a small coffee cart with a quick grab breakfast.
Room was clean, quiet, and a comfortable place to stay in downtown. We were able to book our stay at a reasonable rate, but wouldn't pay full price to stay here.
The Executive Tower is dated overall, with relatively uninspired food and hospitality compared to other downtown hotels. It's the best place to stay if you can't get a room at a better hotel.
Bed was comfortable
- Water bottles should be free for the price you are paying each night. - No glasses or cups were in the bathroom - Toilet seat was too tight in the designed space
I really enjoyed the food and the timely room service.
Very clean room, comfortable, neat. Great restaurant food excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful.
High internet fees, should be included.
Good location Clean and safe Staff were excellent Room 422 at the Main bldg is small, But comfortable. Like your addition of in room safes since my last stay.
The parking is $32 per day and with tips in addition it's a little steep. Wifii in the room is extra and in this day and age I think it should be included.
Very clean, comfortable, and we felt safe and well looked after. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. Location is good, close to everything.
The parking is pretty steep though, $32 per day. And with tips it really adds up. Wifii is not included in your room and I think it should. Not sure if I will join Hilton Honors.
Gold Star as above. Ambiance!
One very dumb and ill-trained housekeeping person on Friday morning. (8/1) The other ladies were very good.
There was soap residue in the bathroom,I'm an individual in a mobility scooter...the room was difficult to manuver in and out of and being a disabled person the bathroom was small and difficult to manuvor in. This room was at a discounted rate....I think its too bad that even theses days in Portland Or.we disabled still have to make due in public places. The room and bathroom looked pretty clean but there were area's in the bathroom that had obviously been missed.---Thanks for your time.
Ambience and size of room
Cost of city parking
Rooms were nice, clean, location was good.
The front desk seemed incompetent when asked to split room charges between two people who did not originally make the reservation. They ended up not taking the correct credit card information from one party and had to charge it to the person who secured the reservation. When calling to resolve the problem, the accounting rep had to do research and did not call back timely, I had to call back the next day. He was unable to resolve the problem over the phone and had to email credit card authorization forms. Due to the hassle, we resolved the issue ourselves rather than relying on the Hilton accounting office.
Nice friendly and clean
This location is excellent! It is in close proximity to everything downtown. When you step out the front door you have numerous restaurants, cafés, bars, shopping and so much more. We took the streetcars, trains and buses everywhere...it was so convenient!!
