Hilton San Diego Airport/Harbor Island  

First time going out to San Diego and the stay at this place was an amazing experience and we can not wait to go again soon!!!! Keep up the good work!!!

We liked the location of the hotel and we had a room overlooking the sea which was lovely. The breakfast was very good. All staff were friendly and helpful.

We though the $21 for parking was very high. Hotel guests should have free parking. We did not know there was a charge for parking until we arrived.

Under construction Dinner... Crab cakes cold in the middle and soggy Expensive parking shared with construction eqpt. Would not return

Cleaness and the position next to the airport

In my reservation there was any deposit to pay..they told me it was right and once I gave them my credit card the charge me also the deposit and it's one week that I am checked out and my money are not back yet. They say tat they have their bus/connection with telhe airport, but I was landed at 23.45 and they told me it was not available at that time..so I had to call a taxi! And finally, when we arrive to the hotel at 00.30 in the night my suite for four people was ready just for two!!my mom had to sleep In the sofa and she had to prepare the bed herself at 1 am!!!

Parking fee a joke. We were not told of the construction work going on, if we had known we may have choose another n Hotel.

Easy to find!

Closeness to airport. If our room had a view of the marina it would have been lovely...but it didn't !

I booked a marina view room and got a view of the car park and air conditioning units. Very annoying and disappointing. Thankfully only stayed one night. Bar was being refurbished and the alternative was shabby. Bar man very pleasant and polite.

Very close to the airport, and a fine shuttle service to the airport early in the morning. Nice rooms, fine bed. We spend a comfortable last night there.

We had a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly, accommodating and courteous. We had a very sweet housekeeper that brought towels up she was a great asset to the hotel. Very sweet and conscientious of others. The view was great. Our son just moved to sd for school,where he will be for at least the next 6 years. We will be back. Thanks!

Close to little Italy, close to downtown, to Harbor, great restaurants, Balboa Park... very nice place to walk in the mornings and evenings!

it looks somewhat old

Location was great! We had an 7:00 AM flight back to Maui and didn't want to deal with traffic that early in the morning. Took our car rental back the night before and took hotel shuttle to airport. It was perfect!

Excellent location. We brought bikes and it was a short ride along the harbor to Downtown, The Embarcadero and Seaport Village.

We were not informed during booking that the view from our room 324 was about 75% blocked by the red tile roof of the entryway driveway. They ran out of pool towels which would not be unexpected on a hot holiday weekend, but after asking for replacements, we never received any.

Reservation for three nights was cut short to one. Hilton Honours? Hilton Horrors would be a better phrase. Hotel located on peninsula at great distance of all places of interest. Building is old, newer Hiltons elsewhere in town. For a $ 258 a night room rate the following service was offered: At check-in the manager herself demanded credit card and ID. Tone of voice drillsergeant style. The word please is unknown to her. Room, bathroom and balcony were small. Beds too. Bathplug was missing, toilet non-functioning, TV (supposed to provide many HD TV-channels) non-functioning and upon departure the next day still non-functioning. Swimming pool area dirty. A stack of used towels, no clean ones in sight. Having paid several visits to reception, I was laughed at by the manager. I arranged check-out the next morning. Compensation offered by Hilton Honours was a waiver for the parking lot fee and four continental breakfasts with the option to upgrade to a full breakfast at $ 4.95 per person.... We left this mockery of a hotel and checked in in the nearest Holiday Inn in San Diego where we started with a breakfast. We are doing fine here, as we have done in all other hotels during our four week trip in the beautiful USA. Hilton Honours? I did not receive any response on a formal complaint so far. There were other -American- guests who checked out that sunday morning, fuming. I will carefully avoid any Hilton or Hilton Group hotel in the future.

My room was spacious and being up on the 8th floor could have the external door to patio open during the night for fresh air. View was very pretty.

For the cost of the room I felt the room standard was not what I expected. The bath had huge chips in it and the paint was badly scuffed. The furniture was tired and well worn and felt it wasn't as clean as I would expected it to be over all.
