Beds were very comfortable, location of hotel, front desk staff polite & helpful, great hotel to participate in an event at, close to Gaslamp & Coronado
Valet parking $30/night, No robes or slippers in the room, Nestle water $3.50/each, For $200+ a night not anything complimentary= not a good value. Bartenders/staff rude at Odysea bar, breakfast buffet @ $25/each was just ok. We've had better hotel breakfasts before. After doing key drop and filling out paper to get receipt emailed, they never sent it.
housekeeping, room size
In room dining staff were not as helpful or pleasant as I would have expected. Due to packed schedule I was forced to eat in my room each morning...
Beautiful rooms and views, good restaurants, extremely helpful staff, easy access to both highway and downtown, easy to get work done with everything on site.
The bed is comfortable. And the location is perfect. I can walk to the gaslamp at night, where has awesome restaurants.
The air condition is tooooooo loud!
The room was wonderful. The spa and workout facilities were very nice. Everything was clean and staff was courteous.
Parking was very expensive. Self-park was not convenient, so we used valet which was pretty outrageous. We arrived at midnight on Sunday night and left Wednesday at noon. We had to pay for 3 days. Also, the entrance was not very well marked for first time visitors. The ramp was a bit confusing. We found ourselves at the side entrance.
Rebecca fixed a problem for us and gave us a free breakfast voucher in addition. could have gone the other way. thanks
Lobby was spacious and clean, lots of nooks to relax.
Parking was expensive.
perfect ocean view, great location!
The location is right smack by the bay which is pretty good.
The bay view comes at a cost of container van views. It just ruined the great view of d bridge and d bay. I realized one does not need to pay 300 bucks to see container vans
The boardwalk outside. helpful staff generally. Reasonable response time when lamp needed repair in room. Nice looking building, Easy walking distance to Gaslamp Quarter. Conference rooms of varying sizes.
Poor internet connection in room. Kept dropping out. No internet in conference rooms. Expensive breakfasts at Velo. People ended up using Starbucks. Surely an option for a continental reasonably priced breakfast? Also tea/ coffee not made available during conference. The tipping regime in USA. Loud music everywhere including at the tool, where one goes to relax! Old fashioned look of rooms. All the taxes that get added to the room fee.
The view was pretty good.
I figured that it was supposed to be floor 15 or up according to the reservation but we got a room at 11th floor.
Loation and facility is very good clean hotel
Extra charges for everything they can get you for. $30 for parking every day $ For internet "What are we still in the 80s??" $ 3.50 for a bottle of water that is in the room how cheap are they No Fridge in the room We stayed one night then went to the Marriott next door for the next two same price but more included
The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
Our view was over the dole import area. Wasn't the best view of the Coronado bridge. And there was no fridge in the room. Check out wasn't until 12 but a maid opened our door at around 9:30am to come clean.
View location is nice
If you dont do a vallet parking during check in, no one will help you to take your laggage to the room. Which is obvious breakfast is boring every day the is the same and they should clean the dishes properly first. Bathroom is old and they should renew it. bed is not comfortable at all and your nick and back will proven that. Internet is not free and you have to pay 30$ lol i felt its a siphon of money. However thats all but if i back again to Sandieago i would choose Mabchester Hayat hotel.
Staff was attentive. Access to promenade and Gaslamp was excellent.
At this price for a room, I expect spacious quarters (two windows due to "upgrade", but still small). I also do not expect to hear about add-ons and extra charges, like Internet and nice view (yes, they cleverly attempt to get you to upgrade to a "good" view at check-in for an additional $20/night, making the "view" an upcharge as well). Not all TV channels worked. Vending machines on the floor were empty. WiFi was complimentary (secret password provided at check-in) but was unreliable. When it worked, it was ridiculously slow. And, the in-room Internet connection didn't seem to work at all.
The location Starbucks
Fantastic pool area, great for kids. Great staff.
On site restaurants not that great, Fox sports grill good was poor and overall food was very expensive.
Close to Petco Parkand other attractions.
access to internet
Located a short walk from the Gaslamp quarter, Petco park, Marina and the convention centre. Starbucks and sports bar on sight. Quick check in/departure
Extra money required for higher floor giving better view when the hotel is already expensive. Parking cost--- $30 per day in the next door public car park
Walking over the bridge to get to Petco
Pool & location totally would go again!
From the front desk to the housekeeping staff. All where very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
The Hotle it self is wonderful views and all great
Staff was Not very friendly ,also got charged extra fees that did not apply to me they did refund it but it shouldn't have happend in the first place. Room service was bad as well order twice for my food and never came really should work on that
