Walking over the bridge to get to Petco
Pool & location totally would go again!
From the front desk to the housekeeping staff. All where very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
The Hotle it self is wonderful views and all great
Staff was Not very friendly ,also got charged extra fees that did not apply to me they did refund it but it shouldn't have happend in the first place. Room service was bad as well order twice for my food and never came really should work on that
love the food, love the music playing at the outside bar and pool area great ambience, also parking area was nice and clean, easy access in and out, from checking to check out it was excellent, I will be back keep up the good work.
parking fees too high
Only stayed one night to get a taste for San Diego. This hotel is in the perfect spot to view the city. On the marina bay front, walking distance to main bars and restaurants for the evening, hop on hop off tour stops at the hotel, walks along the marina are beautiful plus a great view from the rooms, which are also lovely. Almost want to be as high as possible to benefit from this.
The staff could not do enough. Very pleasant. Hotel is walking distance close to so many places to visit, including the Gaslamp Quarter and the Seaport Village, and the trolley is across the way to get you everywhere else.
If you are going to walk around the area be prepared for homeless people everywhere and the smell from their waste. Other than that, the hotel and location were just fine.
Views and cleanliness of the property
I liked how easy it was to walk to Petco Park.
I stayed for 3 nights but only rented a car for 1 night. I was automatically charged for 3 nights valet. To correct the issue, I had to go to the front desk who corrected it after I explained but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
we checked in and our room had a bathroom that did not work. We went to the front desk and they upgraded us to another room. When we put the key in the door, opened it and a naked lady was exititing the shower. could have been a real problem.
Location and views Closeness to the major attractions Very clean property Starbucks at the ground level Comfortable room and quiet Safe in the room Nice TV Price was fine for me (USD199 a night plus tax)
the room was amazing and valet service was great
no free wifi and no fridge and microwave $45 for one night of valet service
Location, at bayfront, minutes from gaslamp quarter. amenities, friendly staff
30$ per night per car! 50$ for breakfast for 2 people... 15$ for wifi per day!
The rooms were nice- great location to walk to gaslamp, stadium, etc.
The parking was $30 a day- that seemed a little ridiculous, and no free Wi-Fi? In order to be top notch world class those might be two places to improve. Just because people will pay doesn’t make it right to gouge the customer. This hotel could greatly improve its customer satisfaction by offering free Wi-Fi, and capping parking at $15 per night.
front desk people really helpful and try his back to get back my room which he couldn't find the reservation from their hotel's system
It was very quiet. We pulled the black-out curtains closed and slept later than we have in years. We loved the bridge over the roadway and the easy walk to the Gaslamp.
We had a "Bridge View" room which indeed had a view of the bridge. Unfortunately, it also had a view of the Dole loading dock. Had I known, I would have skipped the bridge view and taken a view of the rest of the bay. Had to pay for parking and wi-fi. Check-in time was 3 and we arrived shortly thereafter, and waited in line almost an hour to check in. And the room wasn't ready! At 5:00 we requested a different room as we had to meet friends for dinner. Also, we got back to the hotel at midnight and wanted a snack and couldn't find anything to eat.
Alex was very helpful with internet we needed a shuttle service and Karin was able to take care of it even on short notice.
The wait time for evaluators.
Room was dusty. Bathtub was dirty. Dirty linen from prior guess left in bathroom. Parking signs were miss leading. Kitchen closes at 11pm unable to get late night food unless you order delivery. When checking out staff was told of complaints, staff went to tell manager and manager did not bother to come and speak to me.
We only stayed two nights but a great location. Local restaurants were great. Comfy beds.
Wi fi was poor. Connection drops in and out and only hotel of eight while in America that charged for wifi.
On the bay front, close to the Gas Lamp Quarter Lovely big room Friendly, helpful staff
30 dollars a day to park No free wifi in the room No fridge in the room
-Location is basically in the downtown area. Nice walk from the sky-bridge to get right into Gas lamp (If you do not want to walk a taxi, lyft, or uber is less than 10 USD with tip). -The staff is extremely friendly and courteous (allowed late check out no problem). -Can walk down the entire bay/marina after walking right out the lower level (lots of nice yachts, battleships, wildlife, and more).
-As anyone would say, the parking is expensive per/day -The WiFi is not included in the price, but still SEMI-reasonable -Gym did not have many lifting options
Excellent location, very clean and comfortable beds
No coffee or tea facilities in the rooms. No free wifi
Close to the gaslight district
Parking is way over priced and for the cost of the room it was way too small and no fridge in the room
Easy to walk to gas lamp quarter and other areas of downtown San Diego. Walk to ferry to go to Coronado. Close to food places.
Room was quite small Staff were friendly but didn't go out of their way. Cash machine was out of service a lot
