Lovely location with beautiful views over harbour and city. Modern and spacious public areas and helpful staff
Location, view, convenient.
The view was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, having the air filter in thee room was a good idea.
The shower head was tiny and the hot water wasn't very hot. Some of the channels didn't work on the TV.
Loved our view accommodations were wonderful breakfast buffet was excellent
no balconies hotel did not save my reservation for the larger room
The bridge that crosses over. It is close to ocean and the gaslamp.
Location, room, the view
Had to pay extra for wifi in the rooms and it hardly worked, further more there was stuff on our bill which wasn't ours....
Expected full view of bay, I had requested in e-mail to them. I felt I was not important enough for my request.
Quite new hotel with nice views of the city
Expensive parking and internet in the room for additional price
it costs $15 a day for WIFI, if you want to check in early it costs $25 to do so.
Clean, convenient, comfortable
Expensive - food, drinks & rate for what you get. Absolutely terrible internet, WIFI service throughout the hotel. WIFI did not work in room & they charge you. In public areas WIFI is very intermittent & always drops. Not what you would expect from a hotel in this 'class'. Very disappointing!
We especially appreciated the girl who checked us in for so many reasons. Besides our questions about the hotel, she gave us some great suggestions for where to go to celebrate a birthday -- dinner and later, wine. It was wonderful!
HOUSEKEEPER DID NOT REFILL UP EACH TIME ENOUGH SUPPLIES AS TISSUE, TOILET PAPER AND BODY SOAP.
Location is great, in a walking distance from the Gaslamp quarter Clean rooms with comfortable beds Price is reasonable compared to other options
Parking is $30 extra per night - which we weren't told about while booking or at any other point until check-in There was exactly 2 coffee packets, 2 paper cups and 1 stirrer - not enough if you want to have tea in the evening and coffee in the morning Overall, I would just expect a little more from Hilton
Front desk is often closed, no one is there.
a bottle of water cost $3.25 too much! one 7oz coke $5.00. again unreasonable pricing.
beautiful designs wonderful ocean view near the coast clean rooms
pillows are too soft no fridge no microwave internet service was slow no premium tv channels
We had a "pure" room because I have allergies. The room had a large air purifier that I wish I could have brought home with us. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were great. We just melted into the bed after a long day of site seeing. My wife is very picky about her pillows and the pillows were acceptable for her. It was nice to walk into our room to have the fish tank on the tv screen. Nice touch. My wife liked the amenities in the bathroom. Peter Thomas Roth is an excellent brand that she also uses at home.
We thought the prices at the hotel for food and drinks were a bit expensive. And we travel a lot so we know what places charge.
Superior view from the room to the bay, park and the city in front of the hotel. Service was in high level, the food in restaurant was great, parking was very suitable for walking back from the garage to the hotel.
they were nothing to say bad about this hotel in San Diego
On the waterfront and having a pool made some of the less positive concerns easier to deal with. Our Bayfront view was stunning. Helpful front desk and concierge.
Our room was in need of updating. The furnishings, draperies, bedding and linens were all in a state of trying too hard. Inconsistent cleaning of the room. I recognize where the hotel is situated means higher rates; however, it should not mean lower standards in what is a five star location.
Beds were very comfortable, location of hotel, front desk staff polite & helpful, great hotel to participate in an event at, close to Gaslamp & Coronado
Valet parking $30/night, No robes or slippers in the room, Nestle water $3.50/each, For $200+ a night not anything complimentary= not a good value. Bartenders/staff rude at Odysea bar, breakfast buffet @ $25/each was just ok. We've had better hotel breakfasts before. After doing key drop and filling out paper to get receipt emailed, they never sent it.
housekeeping, room size
In room dining staff were not as helpful or pleasant as I would have expected. Due to packed schedule I was forced to eat in my room each morning...
Beautiful rooms and views, good restaurants, extremely helpful staff, easy access to both highway and downtown, easy to get work done with everything on site.
