clean comfortable room, good location for piers and china town, coit tower etc, pleasant staff room window has not been cleaned for years on the outside...the extra money for a bay view is not worth it because you cannot see it through the dirt..the glass is practically opaque.

Incredible view of the Coit Tower from our room, and one of the best views of SF I've ever seen! The cost, but that's what's to be expected when staying in a Hilton in downtown SF

The convenience to China town The entire hotel doesn't even have a first aid box, I had fever in the middle of the night and could get even a dose of tylenol from the hotel. I was asked to go to a convenience store six blocks away to buy the otc drug at 3am. That needs to be improved.

The room was clean, had a nice view of the bay, and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The reception/bellhop staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I worked the whole trip, but I want to go back and try the day spa. The room did not have enough light --even with all the lights on. Likewise, there was also one only set of accessible outlets, which made working in bed with my laptop nearly impossible. It may have just been the layout of room 1525, but quite hard to work around.

The service was wonderful. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. Felt right at home. The morning staff of the resturant was not polite. The service was very slow and they didn't seem too care. Nothing like the night time staff. I think the breakfast menu is a little pricy.

Location Price, dirty room, no free internet despite high room fees, overpriced parking, room smaller than pictured. Will not stay at any Hilton hotel again because of this.

The location was great. I could find everything I needed in a distance of a mile from my hotel room. The hotel was terribly busy and I had to wait for a vacant elevator for a long time; once over 15 minutes. Stairs was not an option seeing that I stayed at one of the top floors.

Very good location: short walk to union square and cable cars and close to chinatown nightlife... They have free wireless available, but not in the rooms, only in the lobby.

The location was great. They had problems with their phone system--prank call made it through to our room (twice) one night at 11:30p.

Well maintained, reasonably priced, close to interesting parts of the city. Parking is quite expensive, but there is an alternative lot underneath Portsmouth Square, connected to the hotel by the walkway on the second floor level.

Room was ok. Awful location, Chinatown, dirty and pitfull. Totally noisy, don't stay there, buses keep beeping nonstop anytime reverse sounds. Cheap, crowded, horrible restaurant though good expensive brunch. Location do not help to find brakfast and dinner places. It should be worth 100 usd.

It was in a good location. No refrigerator in room. It could be arranged for an additional $25. At the price of the room it should contain one. The room was very dusty/musty which caused an allergic reaction. Filters for air conditioning should be replaced as windows can not be opened. We stayed at the Hilton because of its reputation and sadly were not impressed.

Staff was helpful, but didn't get a room with a bay view which is what I paid for until the last day we were there Bay view rooms were taken when we arrived even though I booked and paid 2weeks in advance. Was not refunded for cheaper room.

Even though the key-coding machine was down and I was unable to check into my room until after 5 p.m., the staff at the hotel went out of their way to accommodate people. Had no idea that the street noise would be so severe--even 19 floors up!

Executive Floor suite was very luxurious along with private lounge. The only problem is the location. Too far from Fisherman's Wharf. Cable cars do not come to that area and when you finally get to an area for the cable car it is too crowded to get on :(. If Hilton had shuttles that would solve the problem!
