Modern, comfortable, entertaining. Strange guest service, not the best value for money, overpriced based on location, room was not prepared although I arrived after check in, so ended up receiving a room with two double beds instead of a queen.

It doesn't feel like a Hilton Financial District but like a cheap Hilton China Town

Loved the staff - so friendly and helpful. Really made us feel welcome and 'special'. In town for medical reasons @ ucsf. Walked through China- town alone, to Westfield Center shopping - loved the the bed, the restaurant, the wine bar. Loved it all - very impressed Paris :) Sometimes it feels like when making reservations through a "3rd party" you get the 'bottom of the barrel' as far as the actual room is concerned. Smaller, corner with no windows, etc...

The Hotel Staff was , from the Valets to the Check-in Staff , Completly attentive , Friendly , and Helpfull .. As soon as they heard it was our First Wedding Anniversary , they made it a Point to make our stay even More of an Experience than we had expected .. to say they went "an Extra Mile" would be an Understatement ... My wife's Spa Treatment was Also the Success that I had Hoped it would be .. I've been staying in Hotels 2-3 nights a Week for the last 8 years working for the Railroad .. this was by far the Best

The staff was pleasant and the view from my room was great - Coit Tower, sf Bay, Golden Gate, etc. The price was descent. Location is okay, price is okay but the room is horribly noisy. The walls are paper thin. We were on the 7th floor. I expect to hear some street noise when staying in any major city. I don't expect to clearly hear the neighbors coming in at 2am talking. I don't expect to hear what I can only believe was a porno shoot starting and stopping from 2:45am to 4:15am. I don't expect to hear Joan Jett blaring at 5:00am. I didn't see them until the morning but there is a reason ear plugs are on the night stand! If you are strictly looking at price then it's a good value for a weekend rate in sf. You will pay a little more but the Hilton Union Square is a much better hotel. I stayed there the other 3 nights.

I was displeased when I arrived to my room after a wonderful night on the town to find a note under the door stating I may not have water in my room after 10 am. The thought of not having water to bathe left me restless, my sleep was not sound. Upon waking, I did take a shower only to find that the water pressure was less then sufficient to remove the soap from my body and hair and the drain was so slow that I was up to my ankles in water within 3 minutes. Upon attempting to leave in the morning I was left standing for 10 minutes waiting the elevator until I decided to take the stairs to the lobby. Thank goodness I am not handicapped and the building wasn't on fire. It was 30 minutes after that the elevators began working. To end my stay, the flute is supposed to be open from 6 am in the morning and when I arrived downstairs with my guest (who is diabetic at 10am) the Flute was not open and no one could assist us in obtaining any food items. He was in need of food to level his sugars and was unable to attain this during the hours listed as open.

The Hilton was very nice and the staff was super accommodating. The parking under the Hilton was 45 Dollars Overnight which was a third of the cost of the room. I will not be staying there again Due to This and neither will the 14 others I was with.

No sound isolation, you hear everything from other rooms. Unhelpful stuff, it took them from 8pm to 2am to end a party in the room nearby.
