The Security! We complained twice (once at the front desk and once by phone) about partying and loud music being played in the room next door. It went on for about 6hours. The woman we spoke to at the desk said be sure and let us know if the music still bothered us, as they would ask the people next door to leave the hotel. Security was too nice! (We listened to what was said to the people next door. (We could hear the conversation through our door.) We felt that the hotel security should have asked the people next door to leave. Nothing was done. Ifelt that our room should have been comped for the night! |

I loved the hotel! The room was amazing, the location was very nice too. The parking car was not include and I think it was so expensive (there are a lot of Parking area around the hotel). |

THe Hilton was very convenient to shopping and the cable car lines taking us to Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful in arranging transportation and telling us the best routes to take to the baseball park. |

The toilet was dirty, and there was dried apple cores under the edge of the bed where the floor had not been vacuumed. The shower and the tub both sprayed out water at the same time when you were trying to take a bath, I was very unhappy. |

the location was very good the bathroom was small and not clean. there was hair everywhere. the blanket was yellow....disgusting! the bar on the high floor was closed because they only open for groups...the receptionist told us that. we were disappointed. |

Good location and excellent large modern hotel Breakfast was not included in our rate - we had breakfast in the restaurant once. The buffet breafast was fine but worked out at at about $65 plus service for 2 people which is high if you do not eat much at breakfast.This was a bit of a surprise as breakfast options and pricing were not particularly clearly shown anyplace we could see. Of course there are plenty of place to have breakfast at outside the hotel. |

The Hilton is a lovely hotel with a nice big busy lobby. Staying here we definetly felt it s the best location for downtown shops & location. I would recommend staying here as apposed to fisherman's wharf. Amanda at the check-in desk was a delight to have check us in, she gave us a gorgeous room. No complementary wireless internet, breakfast not included |

Location excellent for Downtown and easy access to transport links across the city the price was reasonable too Was noisy. The corridors always seemed to be busy and there was always people banging around. For a large chain hotel I was surprised but it did not make oyur stay any less enjoyable it was a nuisance more than anything |

The cleanliness and the morning newspaper are certainly a plus The comfort wasn't better than any other hotel, nor was there breakfast included. |

The hotel has a great location in the heart of the shopping district and within easy reach of the trams There are a lot of vagrants in the city which made us feel a little uncertain of venturing out at night but getting a taxi was easy |

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. At registration time, the clerk provided answers to all my questions and did not seem in a rush to get me checked in. Furthermore, when checking out the clerk was even more gracious engaging me in conversation and actually raising my spirits with her caring manner. The many different charges such as a 22 per cent gratuity plus a five dollar service charge for room service. I calculated that a $10 item would cost one $17.20 which prevented me from wishing to utilize room service. Additionally, the minibar was over priced and also subject to a 20 percent restocking fee. Moreover, if one acccidentally left something in the mini-bar a fee would be charged to remove this item. While, the staff and conditions were excellent. I would never order room service or use the minibar. |
