Score from 100 reviews Very good
Very nice suite.
Had to walk to far to our rooms from the hotel lobby. Ok for young people, but a bit too much for seniors.
No complaints have been staying @ Buffalo Thunder for years always a good experience
Wonderful room with kiva--pool was heated and big--food was good--beds very comfortable--love the adobe look!
a bit pricey
Not vacuumed floor, crumbs in sheets, pillowcases smelled unwashed. Thin walls, can hear everything in hallway very well. We had 2 rooms, 1 was clean, 1 not.
Inside pool, the decor and beautiful lobby.
Starbucks was not open in lobby.
Our stay was flawless from start to finish. The staff was very knowledgeable with any questions/issues we had. Very clean and comfortable. Will be back for golf next trip.
bed is comfortable the property is real nicely done Staff is great
price is high for the area Casino is as expected
I had a wonderful time and relaxing stay staff is very polite and helpful the view from my room was fantastic the food was so delicious I will be back soon
access to Santa Fe and other resorts
not clean tried to charge twice for room tried to charge for unused honor bar
Smoke in casino
Beatiful facility, loved our room.
More eating options needed. Buffet was closed Mon - Wed. Red Sage is pretty pricy.
Great Hilton property.
One single elevator. Had to walk forever to get to our room. Casino very smokey and no winners. Would not recommend wasting money there.
A very beautiful room with a private balcony overlooking the pool area and I was able to see the night fire torches. Lovely. Also a free shuttle service was offered to the Downtown Plaza and back. Didn't have to take my car shopping or worry about parking.
When I booked my room the rate was $129 per night. A couple of weeks later I went on line the the room rate was $84 per night.
Location Service Convenience Beautiful rooms
lost $40 bucks in the casino :)
Temperature Controls were very good.
reasonable priced dinner for late night room service.
How the check-in person handled not finding my reservation, and the hotel staff not having my room ready. I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Hal Leonard and share my experience and he followed up by sending me a fresh fruit delivered from the manager of the check in desks.
Quiet, in the spa wing. Large room. Great spa, Ingrid the massage therapist is awesome. Great concierge service for golf.
Super dusty air vents, cleaning rag left in the bathroom and cleaning supplies left on the patio. Would have been nice if they used them. Housekeeping staff did not speak a lick of english and when trying to explain to them the issues, would just shrug their shoulders. I called the front desk.. Still did not help, they sent a person to the room who did not speak english. Then the house keeping girl spilt the toilet bowl water in her bowl brush reserve all over the floor. Ugh... Nasty!
large room & (clean) bath room Conveniently close to the Santa Fe Opera
WiFi costs extra (and is not very stable) Parking lot is loaded in the evening The fridge is actally an emly mini-bar and not working.
This is a beautifully design resort. My huge room was larger than an apartment I had in college. Beautifully designed, comfortable furniture, large bathroom with separate tub and shower areas. Lighting in the room (which I am very picky about) created a great ambiance. Loved the extra large balcony! Enjoyed the buffet and pool area.
The balcony only had 2 small chairs with no back cushion and a small table. I would have loved a chaise lounge to better relax and enjoy the area. Also, while I loved the pool area I would have preferred more flowers or plants to soften and give a oasis feel. However, I am being picky here.
did not like pets in the rooms. saw one couple that had four dogs.
The clean atmosphere and nice amenities
Losing so much money at the casino. The machines were way too tight. I don't mind losing money if it at least keeps you entertained longer than just continuously feeding the machines and having no fun.
Location was excellent- close to Santa Fe proper but not in the midst of traffic. The pool was a delight.
rooms need updating and casino didn't have enough table games very smokey. golf was sub par
close parking, pool
All restaurants were too expensive for the food. Charged for water in room & could be charged for snacks left in room for convenience. (If in room for you to use should be complimentary not charged). No alcohol in casino. No comp from casino for restaurants.
Location is about 5 miles north of Santa Fe. IF you like golf and casinos this is the place to stay. Very close to hiking trails in the foothills. The building and grounds are in excellent condition.. We enjoyed a Junior Suite upgrade due to a glitch in our reservation. The room was decorated in traditional Southwest decor. Bathroom was large with separate shower and tub. Even a terrace with two chairs and table..for relaxing outdoors while watching the sun go down in the evening.. Room was quiet since it was on opposite side of casino .This is also a pet friendly hotel.
Main complaint is the long walk from parking lot to our room. Of the three elevators only two were in operation the day of arrival..
