Staff, facilities, options, location
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Free upgrade when Booking.com didn't transfer my name correctly in Hilton system and they couldn't find my reservation. Room was clean and comfortable.
My name wasn't correctly entered into the system from Booking.com. Awkward access to lobby and rooms from the parking garage. Could use clear directions on the website. Kept having to have room keys reset.
The Hilton made our experience the best time in Seattle. The Bed was so comfortable. The location was great and again the staff was the BEST!!
The location makes it easily accessible to key areas of interest as long as u don't mind the walk.
The hotel was rather old and small
The staff was excellent, very friendly, good humoured, and very helpful. One night we asked the front desk staff if they could give us restaurant recommendations, and they were more than glad to do so, calling various restaurants to see if they were open (it was New Year's Day).
We were expecting a swimming pool or at least a hot tub but to our disappointment, they had neither. Also, the room was a boring room, no view, just the constant noise of heater/air conditioner.
The air conditioner was broken that we could not turn off the heat that the room was ridiculously hot at night. However, the staff gave us another room and we had a comfortable stay.
Obviously it's hilton so the beds and everything are better than the motels near the area and the price is pretty cheap too. It's an okay quality hotel. Wayyy better than a motel room.
Parking. Really expensive. Might've been better to park elsewhere. You don't get much benefits for staying there. Also, the staff seem a bit unprofessional. They lack communication with one another. I specifically asked not to charge my credit card and they said it's okay, they don't charge until check out. And then they tell me when I'm checking out that my credit card was charged everything last night. Including the one night parking I said I didn't use. And they had some problems taking out the charges. And told me it takes several days to remove the charges anyway. Also, perhaps most hotels are like this but we ordered room service and I expect room service to be expensive. But I didn't see those extra charges on the bill i signed the night before. And suddenly I'm charged more when I'm paying during check out and the front desk sends me to the bar to ask for the break down of those charges. I go to the bar and they say they don't have any of those records and don't even tell me where to go. They don't know who has those records for me to see. I expect to pay more for room service. I just want to know what the heck I'm paying for.
Location! Many interesting places are in walking distance. The staff were friendly.
* No free Wi-Fi, paid Wi-Fi was poor. * The air in the room was too dry, would be better if there's a humidifier. * The flow in faucet was too low.
Good location and nice staff
The bathroom couldn't be any smaller. No curtains solid means in the morning the sun stream in and there's nothing you can do about it. Almost no in-room facilities beyond making tea.
The bed was awesome. We are looking to buy that model!
It would have been nice to have free wifi.
The wifi signal is not strong enough
free wifi in the room
Amenities were excellent. Very clean and new.
The restaurant service was poor and choices were not good. The charge for the room was not as quoted by booking.com and had to bring charge to the attention of the staff and they adjusted it. The water was just luke warm for shower. Management said that they had a water problem. I would have thought being just remodeled that problem would not have existed.
Rooms super comfortable
2nd time there, no glimpse of water, elevators were out 2 times
While the room was a bit small it had everything we needed. The feel of the hotel was modern and very tidy. Location downtown was great. We arrived before our check - in and they were happy to check our bags. If we stayed in Seattle again, we'd consider the hotel again for sure.
We had an odd exchange at the bar. Bartender sold my husband a pale ale that wasn't, then proceeded to tell my husband that he was incorrect. He ended up taking off the drinks from our room (I was happy about that - I was a bit too tired to argue) but my husband ended up leaving without a drink and I didn't feel much like having mine after the exhange. Not the worst thing about the trip - just very odd.
great location.friendly staff
nothing too serious to mention
The room was clean and was in a good location. Walking distance to pike place, shopping, monorail.
No free wi-fi, room was small. Parking garage was difficult to maneuver/find parking. Room too expensive for what you got. I'd rather stay at a holiday inn with free wi-fi and discount breakfast.
All the staff, facility and the great service.
The parking was a bit awkward and tight.
Location near Seattle attractions and shopping centers.
There is no wifi connection. Parking for car is very expensive.
Dinner menu and items poor choice.
Great location - walking distance from pikes place market & shopping Room was decent size
under renovation; called for service cleaning up the tub upon check in and was told someone would be right up. When we returned to the room four hours later, the issue still was not resolved. However, when we called the second time, we received immediate assistance.
5 min walk to the monorail with easy access to space needle, 10 min walk to pike market
On checkout they tried to charge us an extra $300 although the front desk altered the bill when we showed the confirmation email. Clothes from previous occupant were still in the room as well as an old coffee cup. We were "invited to join" them for breakfast only to find out it wasn't complimentary. WiFi wasn't complimentary either. When you stay at a brand like Hilton and have to pay that much for a room you expect more. Generally very poor value for money.
Great location and bell staff, especially Chuck who was very helpful. Nice rooms and views, breakfast good with even better views. Had a good burger and sweet potato fries on room service late one night.
Restaurant didn't feel at all comfortable so ate at Rock Bottom round the corner which was excellent with a great selection of beers and a good steak.
The friendliness and helpfulness of staff in all parts of the hotel.
Car parking was very expensive for in house guests.
Bedding and bed
Service, price for what you actually got in terms of the amenities ( it felt more like a Hilton Express)
