Location, support of Cardinals, restaurant and food.
Bathroom floor and bath did not appear to be cleaned. Pretty sure there was hair That was not from us and toilets not cleaned. There was a pill of some sort in the loveseat cushions. The kleenex smelled horrible and the elevators were a little stressful.
Wasn't anything not to like!
The hotel staff was great and so was the location for going out at night. We were about a 2 minute walk to Ballpark Village. The bars in the hotel were nice too and the servers were friendly and polite.
Our room was really bad. The shower curtains were disgusting, there was garbage and an old sock under one of the beds, and the grossest thing was that one of the comforters looked like it had dried blood stains on it. Absolutely no way I would stay here again which is a shame because the people who run the place are great and I loved the location but the room was way too dirty for me.
The staff at this hotel goes above and beyond the anticipated to exceed a guests expectation. Well Done St. Louis Hilton at the Ballpark!
Staff was helpful, good with directions. The hotel has a great location and a good value. The room was clean.
Location was great. Comfortable room and nice view of the City. Friendly staff.
Hot tub was cold.
Loved the location and the views from the 360 rooftop bar.
The food at the 360 rooftop bar was not that good. And the lady at the valet (handling the keys) was the only unfriendly employee we ran into.
The staff was very friendly and cordial. The room was very small but somewhat clean. It was located close to some great attractions, one being the Edward Jones Dome, where we were attending a concert.
The wifi was not free and neither was the parking. For the price, they should at least offer free wifi. Also, had to keep the room at 66 degrees or hot air would blow out of AC. One of the bedspreads which was white, was all stained up and they covered it with another top sheet to hide the stains. No mini fridge in room. Plus parking was too costly.
Our room on the 22nd floor had a great view. The executive suite dining room also has a great view of the arch and a good breakfast to set us on our way for the day. Very friendly staff.
The room itself is in need of a major overhaul. Everything was outdated - from the wallpaper to the sketchy table lamps that sparked when turned off and on, to the rubberized blackout curtains. The bathroom was very small and imagine our surprise when we found previous guests' icky crusty washcloths hanging from the shower curtain rod. There was also a quarter-sized patch of bondo stuff on the tub to cover a crack. The room was just...old.
1) Location was great, we really enjoyed the ability to walk to various local facilities. 2) nice to be there when Cardinals were in Chicago, made for ease of movement around area.
1) Front desk attempted to charge us $50 more/night than we booked for. 2) they "honored" the booked price, but complained about it saying their accountants would be mad about issue. 3) openly blamed pricing issue on Booking.com, at that point I want resolution, not complaints from front desk as I should be the one complaining...but didn't, just requested they honor the booked price 4) didn't have rental car service, had to walk to Westin to secure a car 5) pool seemed grungy, suits smelled horrible after using pool 6) asked for a taxi one time at front, told to walk down the street till we found one, tough to do on a Sunday AM, so we ended up walking 16 blocks to museum and never saw a cab, nice walk sure, but still.....
For a Cardinals fan, the location can't be beat.
Being charged extra for things like WiFi and local phone calls - this should be included in the room rates.
Location and rates.
Small bathroom and elevator was just OK
I liked the location, so close to Busch Stadium. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was not clean! There were brown spots on one of the blankets. The shower curtain had mold on it. The vent in the bathroom was caked with dirt. The floor was dirty under the vanity.
Bars and food was good it right accross the street from the Ball park
price was high 295.00 for one night had to pay for parking bath rooms are very small. no fridge no microwave. .
The luggage assistants were very helpful with loading and unloading.
The room and bathroom were tiny and not family friendly. The bathroom was so small that you had to stand between the toilet and sink to shut the door. The room was damp with humidity. Overpriced for what you get.
Awesome location. A bell boy named Ilion was so helpful and he make sure that everything was perfect during our stay.
Everything, friendliness, knowledgeable,
Perfect location for many attractions in downtown st louis. Loved that it was right across the street from the ball park, the view was awesome, and the room was clean and comfy.
The location was the best since we could walk to the Arch and to a Cardinals ballgame.
There were no towel bars in the small bathroom.
Location Room "Feel" of hotel Steve Leslie playing on the patio was absolutely fantastic - He made the evening complete
I could only stay Sat evening and had to leave Sun
The car was put into the valet parking. They did over $2500.00 in damages to the car.. Did not notify us until we picked up the car to leave!!
an absolute fantastic location...a minute walk to mike shannons restaurant, two minutes from the stadium and an 8 minute walk from the arch made it all worthwhile...and to top it off is the 360 bar which was phenomenal
It wasn't very clean and a bit out dated
I booked a room with a King bed and a pullout sofa for my kids. The room wasn't ready and we were given another room that was supposed to be the same. Instead it had a queen bed, and the pullout sofa did not have any sheets. When I told the staff about it being a queen they said no, it is a king. Little did they know that I own a Mattress business and I do know the difference between a King and Queen sized bed, yet they continued to argue with me that it was a King size. I told they what I do for a living and they said that they would have to take it up with the management. I was issued a 40$ credit off the bill, but I feel that it was not enough for the inconvenience.
Great location to the ballpark and fabulous view of Busch stadium....rm 1202
