My wife and I have stayed in lot of hotels all over St. Louis, and the surrounding areas, and we have never dealt with such a pleasant staff that at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark!
If there was one negative, it was that the hotel bars closed at midnight and 1:00 a.m., respectively. We would have liked to be able to sit there and drink a little longer before heading to bed.
Very nice hotel with a great view. The hotel is in walking distance to a lot of great attractions.
The bed and pillows were not very comfortable.
I liked that there were restaurants in the hotel, and I liked that it was by so many things that were in walking distance. There was a man, that worked the elevators, that was the nicest person we encountered at the hotel. He was so so nice, I wish I remembered his name. He was an older black gentleman.
I didn't like that the first room we were in had a leaky window and the floor was soaked so we had to ask to be moved to another room they didn't think that it was a big deal. The next room we were in the heat went out in the middle of the 2nd night and the manager in the morning, when we were checking out acted like we were crazy when we said something. The girl that checked us in made us feel like we shouldn't be staying at their hotel, don't worry next time we are in St. Louis we will not be staying at their hotel.
The location is great
The rooms are outdated. Take out grandma's chair and put in rocker recliners
Staff was very friendly!! Rooms were small but clean. I had read some reviews complaining about the 360 bar being loud and tying up the elevator...we were there on a weekend and found neither to be an issue.
I loved the location to the dome and places to eat, also you are walking distances to a lot of the attractions. the pool was very nice for the kids.
I was told that I had two Queen size beds, and I did not, was not comfortable at all. The shower had no water pressure at all, not very nice when taking a shower. There was no microwave or small frig in our room, which would have been very nice for snacks, and drinks when traveling with kids, for such things like, popcorn juices, sandwiches ect,
The rooms heater was extremely noises. Room was very hard to heat up.
The 360 bar
Could not sit on toilet & shut door without bruising knees
Nice location and excellent staff
The staff could not have been more friendly, caring and helpful. The room was all the comforts of home. We could not be happier with our experience and will look to stay with Hilton from now on. The price was hard to beat.
Can not find a bad thing to say. Thank you Hilton I could not be more pleased.
The rooftop restaurant. Brilliant watching sunset.
I booked a room for 4 but it was just way too small. There're only two full-size beds, which are too small for 4 adults.
Location to the BallPark
A little pricy on the room.
clean rooftop restaurant
food at the breakfast buffet was terrible! asked for but did not receive wake up call
I loved the location. You are literally right across the street from Ballpark Village, which is great. You are walking distance to so many great locations.
When games are in session it can be very busy, crowded, and noisy. You know this going in if you're staying there, but it can still be a bit annoying that the sound from Ballpark Village spills right into the room.
coffee machine broken welcome light out/ never replaced bad view from room - said we had view of ballpark and ended up looking at a rooftop pull out sofa was stained/ unmade/ not comfortable to sleep on even for young children
The location was good for what we were doing, the rooms were nice, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Something was leaking in the bathroom, we were unable to figure out where it was coming from. When we woke up in the morning, the floor on the inside of the bathroom door and even some of the carpet outside the door was wet, and everything on the vanity was damp on the bottom. (Room 815)
The location and the dry sauna, hot tub, pool, and workout room.
No refrigerator in my room
The hotel is located in the heart of downtown St. Louis. It was able to walk to every part that we needed to go. We overnight 2 days at the hotel. The staff was very nice helping you. They have a modern elevator, never saw before. But it did help us to go straight to our floor.
The room and bathroom could be bigger. We expected also free Wi-Fi. I had to pay for my laptop and also my smartphone.
Everything thing else.
Loved the Arch, old courthouse, Cardinals ballgame, brewery tour, lovely pocket gardens and walkability to different locations, church services at the old Basillica and the 360° rooftop Lounge views of the city were breathtaking. Our beds had clean, crisp linens with soft duvet covers. We enjoyed a gourmet buffet breakfast on the house and we had a wonderful weekend! Thank you!
Dirty, streaked windows interfered a bit with taking pictures of the beautiful views from the room.
The bed is very comfy. Great night sleep! And I love the convenience of Imo's right in the hotel. They did not have our room cleaned in time so they gave us complimentary breakfast for two, a complimentary appetizer and 2 drinks. Very nice staff!
Elevators are small and extremely slow.
They charge for wi-fi in the room. Didn't get my usual night time downtime and the kids couldn't do their homework without charge in the room. We went to the lobby because we weren't willing to pay the in room fees.
Close to ballpark
Air conditioner rattled all night could not sleep
Location, support of Cardinals, restaurant and food.
Bathroom floor and bath did not appear to be cleaned. Pretty sure there was hair That was not from us and toilets not cleaned. There was a pill of some sort in the loveseat cushions. The kleenex smelled horrible and the elevators were a little stressful.
